Cafe 24 Hundred
The food was delicious. The servings are huge. Our waitstaff was super!
We didn’t get to eat at the restaurant. Our server left to go get us coffee and see if someone could make mimosas. She ended up serving everyone else after us with coffee and 15 minutes later we decided to leave. When she saw us leaving was when she wanted to assist us.
We enjoyed the food. It was above-average in taste and presentation. The service was amazing, but we made reservations for Valentine's Day. The place was not filled, but the servers were extremely busy - hustling and bustling. Maybe they didn't have enough help? We were told up front that the kitchen was running behind with meals, and some people were there much longer than we were, but we didn't have to wait long. Our table, however, was next to an area that was a high-traffic area, so there was cold air on us constantly as people went back and forth behind and next to us. Still, we enjoyed the night.
Valentines dinner. Busy when we arrived. Had a reservation and was seated promptly. They had three specials for valentines in addition to the full menu. 8oz Filet, crab & salmon and a homemade sweet potato gnocchi. We ordered, declined rolls. Salad was delivered promptly. My husband ordered the crab & salmon special and I ordered the chicken piccata. Dinner did take a little long but it was well worth the wait. Shared a valentines dessert that was also great.
We had a nice time out as a family. Good, casual dining restaurant with some tasty choices for dinner. Nothing special but very nice.
We got there at 11. The hostess sat us and told us to help ourselves at the buffet bar. The buffet was nearly empty and ready to close. Literally, the hostess invited us to help ourselves with whatever was left in the buffet table after the rush hour. I mean 2 pieces of French toast, some dry scrambled eggs and a few overcooked sausages We left. Probably will not come back.
We sat outside where there were maybe six tables. The server was very friendly and attentive. All four of us enjoyed our menu selections. Occasionally the outside air conditioning compressors kicked on and made an awful noise on startup that sounded like screeching tires so perhaps some outside music on the deck would be helpful. Overall, we were very pleased.
Not worth the price. Food quality was not at all what I expected. The website initially listed the breakfast buffet at $12. a person and the price was increased to $14. for Mother's Day with no warning. The food buffet was very small and was not replenished in a reasonable amount of time. Our waitress was pleasant though. I won't go back.
Waited over one hour for our food after the kids meals came out. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Would never go back or recommend.
Food wasn't as great as expected for fine dining. Not many options and a few items were being removed from the menu so we couldn't order those. 1st visit there. Won't be going back. Not worth the money.
Wonderful appetizers; ask for the bar menu if you want something smaller. Definitely add the homemade chips to the meal for the table. They took great care of us, our parents, and their friends from Belgium. So much fun. A wonderful afternoon stop on their way towards Maryland.
Thought a bit pricey. We ordered what on the menu that said duck tacos and they were definitely more like quesadilla there flat and really no flavor each of us took one bite and that was it. Had a club sandwich it was good but how can you go wrong with that. But on the plus side our waitress was a sweetheart.
Our family went there for the breakfast buffet. We were also guests of the property. The kitchen was on point with a wonderful assortment of culinary delights and kept the food coming. The front end of the house was struggling to keep up with service. Many of the tables were empty as hungry families waited up to :30 minutes for a table. Our family had to fend for itself by getting everything. No blame on the server the front end was simply not prepared and overwhelmed.
Good food, nice atmosphere!
Went to Christmas buffet for second year. Once again, everything was wonderful. Nice selection of meats, seafood and pasta. Something for everyone. Everything was tasty.
Wine list was poor. Adequate hotel restaurant.
We had the best waitress! Her friendly manner and great service made our dinner experience great.
Very slow service. Very average food. I expected so much better from the Willow Valley Doubletree. Willow Valley used to be known for there awesome cooking.
The service was very poor. The server was unprepared and overall had no sense of common courtesy. The scallops were excellent but the rest was less then ok. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Quiet place to grab breakfast while staying in the hotel. Food was just ok. Pancakes were like sponges. Being a Hilton Honors member, I will return.
We both had salads that were large and filling. My friend's salad called for avocados and it came without any. The waitress noticed it on the way out to deliver it and went to the kitchen and got my friend a sliced avocado to add. Our waitress was outstanding. she stayed while we spent the time chatting and catching up. Finally I insisted that we pay the check and that she leave. Wonderful and attentive, yet understated service. Food was casual and fine for lunch.

They have the best wings around. Can't go wrong with the burger with the egg on top.
Good food and nice service.
We were disappointed with the food, ambiance and overall experience. The only part of the evening that was worthwhile was chatting with our server Andrew. He was engaging, friendly and accommodating. However, the food portions were too big, it was delivered to our table too fast and we had no time to eat each dish quickly enough to prevent the next one from getting cold.
It would've been acceptable only if the write-up on the website had been more realistic.
My local family of 5 made reservations for dinner, yet there weren’t enough menus- we were asked to share. When our waitress arrived at our table, she took food orders, but never noticed that she forgot to take our drink orders. We had to aggressively flag her down for drinks. When food arrived, there were only 4 meals. She asked if we needed anything else, then realized that we were missing a dinner. Everyone in my party was finished eating by the time my food arrived - it was never started. I did not ask for any comps, but she offered me an additional beverage at no cost. I would have preferred a discount off of what I already had. None of us liked our meals. We will not return.
Reservations for 2 @ 6pm. We where promptly seated and our drink order was taken . 40 minutes later we received our drinks and our food order was taken. 20 minutes (1 hr after being seated) the waitress gave us another round of drinks “on the house”. 1 1/2 after being seated we got up and walked out, without ever getting our food . The worst experience at a restaurant ever.
Decent breakfast buffet - we were there for an overnight with our kids - plenty of choices for them and a GREAT price!
The worst experience we have ever had. If we could give it a negative star we would. Really disappointed in the New Years Dinner. Everyone was complaining. They need to fix up their act. $31.95 per person and they ran out of food and dessert.
The website should have said that New Years Eve dining was a buffet. If i had known that i would not have chosen this restaurant. The food was ok but it was not by any means hot and there were very few choices on the buffet. I don't know what the cost was because i didn't pay the bill. My daughter ordered a moscow mule which always comes in a copper cup and her's came in a glass and she said she didn't taste any alcohol in it. I had a Vodka and Club and i asked for a twist of lime and i got a lemon slice. I looked at the menu before i booked the reservation and i thought it looked good but in our experience the buffet was terrible.
We went for their Christmas Buffet and we all were delighted by the offerings available. They had two carving stations and the Prime Rib was delicious. The salad bar and vegetables were perfect for my gluten free, vegetarian wife. The apps included peel and eat shrimp and a bounteous offering of mini-bagels and lox. Desserts were very good also. Our Christmas Dinner exceeded our expectations!
Christmas dinner buffet was good. Service was outstanding! Nice comfortable large tables.
Our group of 11 was immediately seated upon arrival. I had requested 4 appetizers to be ready for us when we arrived and they were precisely as ordered. Our server, Sharon did an excellent job and was knowledgeable about the menu, ably answering all our our questions. The food was mouth watering. Very, very good food at the usual price for Lancaster County dining. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend Cafe 24 Hundred. Definitely returning.
I would not recommend at all. Ordered a hamburger medium rare overcooked how to send it back. Came back the second time overcooked again just doesn't make it. Manager tried to accommodate bye offering free dessert.
Beet salad was great. Turkey club was good. Children ate starter pork Nacho and that worked for them.
