Chef/owner is from Genoa,Italy. Very fresh ingredients, house made lasagna pasta that was beautifully thin. Delicious desserts. Friendly service. A nice change of pace when you need a break from the moles.

Food beautifully cooked and served. Server friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Even went down the street to find us a taxi at the end. Would happily return.

Arrived early and got to pick our own table which was good as didn’t like some of the placings. Ordered a cocktail
each and never felt rushed to order. Ordered starters and asked for a good 10 mins wait before serving main course & this was adhered to. The food was fab and we finished off with limoncello and coffee. Lovely restaurant inside and the staff were fantastic. We were served by a Colombian guy who was attentive but never over attentive. We had a perfect night

We were the first one's in the restaurant and after placing our drink orders it was slow going. As the restaurant filled up it seemed everyone else became more important and we were ignored. We had to
ask several times when would we get our drinks! Finally they came and they took our dinner order. The
penne pasta with shrimp was the best of the 4 meals ordered.

On a side note, the waiters made a very bad judgement call. One table of 2 people asked for the TV to be put on so they could watch a wrestling match. All the tables around us objected and we all requested the TV
be turned off. All they did was change the channel to yet another annoying and distracting station. This is supposed to be a notch below fine dining, not a sports bar. Shame on them. We will not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

Un buen fin

Wait staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Even made recommendation, without being offensive, that I get the osobuco instead of the rack of lamb because it Has more meat. Looking at me it was clear I like my protein. (I’m 6”4, 20”lb). But it wasn’t offensive his to suggested I order something heartier.

This is a great Italian restaurant in the heart of Oaxaca. Food and service are great. The only problem we had was that the restaurant was a bit warm and even the fan didn’t help much.

Excelente cocina, buena para locales y extranjeros, sobre todo las variaciones de platos italianos. El trato es amigable, amable, cálido, y el ambiente es tan relajante que da pena irse. Mi familia y yo estuvimos en Oaxaca solo ocho días y fuimos tres veces al Epicuro.

El lugar es muy lindo, la comida es deliciosa, el personal se lleva las palmas por lo que es recomendable para cualquier celebración.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Oaxaca. The carbonara is exceptional! The service is excellent. We love it!

Much to my surprise, this Italian restaurant in downtown Oaxaca served what was probably the best Italian meal we've ever had outside of Italy! We will certainly try to return before we leave town and head back to the US.

Nos arruinaron la cena. Si trabajan por medio de opentable deberían respetar los horarios que ofrecen y no modificarlos cuando ellos quieran. PÉSIMA atención del dueño, debe de tener cuidado, se puso muy grosero y prepotente con nosotros, no lo recomiendo.

This is undoubtedly one of the best experiences we had in Mexico. Customer service was unbelievable despite that the restaurant was fully booked. Food was outstanding, rich flavor and fresh seafood. I highly recommend this restaurant. Cheers

We were a table of 6 with diverse food preferences. The staff was amazing in assuring that each person was satisfied. They knew we were celebrating and made sure everything was perfect. The food was excellent. The pulpo was fresh, the duck perfectly done, and the wine list was complimentary. We will be going back.

Es uno de los mejores, si no es lo mejor, de todas las restaurantes de nuestra experiencia de tres meses en Oaxaca. La comida esta autentica, y tambien original. El servicio no tiene igual.

A great find in Oaxaca. A little out of the way from the Zocalo but worth the trip. Extensive and inventive menu to suit all tastes including pizzas. Attentive service at first which seemed to fall off immediately dessert had been served. My reason for three stars on service.

We chose this restaurant because of the good ratings and reviews, but our food was very disappointing! My wife ordered vitello tonato and a platter of grilled calamari and shrimp. The calamari were practically not eatable, because they were so tough that it was even hard to be cut with a knife. I ordered procutto with melon and spagetti carbonara. The spagetti were much too salty. The appetizers were both good.

We decided to entertain a group of Canadian friends visiting Oaxaca and this was a great place to do so. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Their recommendations were spot on. We all enjoyed every course. No disappointments.

We went here for New Year's and it was very nice. Good food and wine. Service very nice. Recommended for a date night or large groups.

Absolutely the best Italian in Oaxaca. The atmosphere was like stepping into Italy. The service was great and the food was awesome. Went there twice while in Oaxaca.
