Caffino

The restaurant is closed and I was not notified. We arrived and the doors were locked.

Walked all the way to this restaurant only to determine it is closed and they failed to change their voicemail to indicate this and open table still lists it as open. This was extremely inconvenient and disappointing

Our evening at caffino was stellar! Not only was the food absolutely spectacular (still dreaming about the lamb chops!) but the staff were so pleasant and lovely to be around. Highly recommend Caffino for an unforgettable night with beautiful ambience and even better food.

The food and service are always amazing, very authentic Italian food, friendly service. The outdoor patio is great during warm weather.

It was the first time we dined there and we will definitely be back and bring friends and family! Everything from the ambiance, service and food was amazing! The owner Rosa visited our table to welcome us and gave us a little history on the restaurant! She is an architect herself who helped design the Plaza in N.Y! We most certainly give this Restaurant a 5 star review! Well done!

Delicious food, amazing service and fabulous atmosphere

Way overpriced for the quality of food. One small piece of grilled calamari for $20 the plate should have been called a salad instead. The patio furniture needs some TLC. The piece of cake we got was also small. They have lost a repeat customer. The quality and quantity is getting worse.

Food was great, service at the beginning was amazing, but waited over half an hour after asking for the dessert menu before we even saw the server again, as well as another long wait after requesting the bill, plus was overcharged for the wine that was on special but was charged the regular price. That’s my fault for not checking the bill before paying though. Will definitely go back, just with more attention paid to the bill

I love Caffino! It’s a beautiful place and the patio is lovely. I particularly like that it’s an interior patio, and not next to the street. The food is always delicious. Authentic Italian. Great service and the owner is the best!

Service staff were outstanding. Really fun atmosphere and unique location. Can hear some street noise. Patio layout is perfect, tables are not too close to each other. Portions are on point. You order an appetizer main and desert, you leave satisfied.

Vincencio was a very personable man who is very passionate about Italian cuisine. His expertise really shined and he made our night. Not to mention the food was fantastic. I will be recommend this place to everyone!

Toronto’s best little secret.

Very disappointed in the experience, the food, and the service. The food was NOT up to the standard for the prices (very over priced), the food was cold, poorly prepared, and very disappointing. Our group had high expectations for Caffino and I am sad to say that we will NOT be returning. This was a disappointment overall !!

Restaurant was understaffed but still did a fantastic job once all the tables in the section were filled, food was absolutely amazing, wine was great

A hidden treasure in liberty village!

Vincenzo was amazing, he was so knowledgable about the menu. He gave us the best recommendations all night ! It was a great dining experience and felt like a true Italian atmosphere ! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the Italian experience in Toronto !

Dined at Caffino on a Friday night with a friend and enjoyed everything from the patio, the food, and the service. The patio we were seated at had a courtyard feel, and was very quiet. Our meals were delicious and the rosé was perfect. We forgot to get our server’s name but he was so kind and we never had to wait to get his attention, or for our food. We’ll definitely be returning

Their systems went down and everyone was waiting over an hour for food. No apology or explanation was given until after the meals came and we were paying. Felt things may have been a bit better if management went around and explained what happened, I it would have shifted the mood to a bit more positivity. Anytime someone asked about they wait just just said sorry with no explanation. The servers were running around like crazy and seemed pretty frantic. Food was good. Peroni on tap was legitimately warmer than room temperature and so was the red wine. Very strange series of events, hopefully not a common occurrence! We didn’t ask for compensation (we were there for over 2.5 hours) and management didn’t offer.

Our service was slow at first which is ok understandable during this time , however the waiter we had went above and beyond after . Sadly food was not good ( they said they had a new chef that still didn’t know his way around the kitchen) and its way to far for us to give it another shot so sadly not going back

First time there. Liked the feel of the place a lot.
However felt chaotic and we were placed by a very noisy table unfortunately.
Our waitress Georgie was really wonderful and most accommodating.
Food was mostly good but not fabulous.
Maybe because of COVID maybe not. Maybe because no air conditioning in the restaurant and the staff must have been burning up.
I felt for them when I went to the restroom as it was like an oven walking through the empty restaurant.
Will I go back? Absolutely as every restaurant deserves a second chance at least!

Server, Vincenzo, was fantastic. Food delicious in a mellow setting. A little under-staffed. Overall I would give Caffino an excellent rating.

Food was good! Service was ok. We had about three different waiters and had to constantly reorder. My biggest complaint was that especially during COVID, I found it rather disturbing that the utensils were dirty and the washrooms had no soap, no toilet paper. Thank God they had paper towels!

The pizza wasn’t what I expected, been an Italian restaurant! I didn’t enjoy it at all.
