Calhoun’s Bearden is located at 6515 Kingston Pike, very close to I-40/I-75 (Papermill Road Exit) in West Knoxville. This is the home of our custom-built, steam-heated microbrewery where we handcraft specialty beers to the taste of Tennesseans. The brewery’s copper kettles can easily be seen from most seating in this contemporary atmosphere. Calhoun's has become a place where friends and family gather to celebrate what’s good in their lives while they sample some of Tennessee’s best BBQ, ribs, steak, and sandwiches. So come on down and experience the best hospitality and BBQ around.

    It was "fine" but we won't make a point to come back. Quality of food was ok but tasted mass produced or packaged. Our server was completely out of it and unfriendly even after I tried to joke some. We made reservations but were told we'd have to sit in bar area anyway.

    Great food as always along with craft beer! Enjoy our Calhoun’s visit each time we are in a Knoxville since they closed the Nashville location.

    Our server was on point, but was not friendly! We would ask for things and he would not acknowledge we said anything, but then would return at a later time with those items. He lacked in customer service to be a server.

    Lunch was outstanding including a chicken harvest salad and they let my father who is 90 years old order a kids meal, which was incredible! Our server was wonderful too but I didn’t get her name.

    Birthday dessert and they had no candle for it Didn’t have any rolls for the table because they weren’t ready yet! Food took long and the rolls were never ready

    New Server was waiting on me, 15 mins before I was offered something to drink, even though multiple guests who came in after me received their drinks before my drink order was even taken. Never received things like extra napkins, and only one refill as i was waiting to leave. Check out process took 30 minutes, about 10 after I took the check and tried to pay the greeter. I missed the first quarter of the game due to all the waiting. No issue with the new server, he was still learning. My issue is he was basically thrown to the sharks with little help that I could see.

    The service was excellent and friendly. Unfortunately the ribs and pulled pork were very dry. We didn’t eat it all.

    They only complaint I have and it is minor, is the music was loud where we were sitting. We couldn't hear each other.

    The chicken was tough. The noise was so loud it was hard to hear the person sitting next to me The only reason we ate there instead of out west was we wanted the beer muffins
