Camelot Steakhouse - Excalibur
In fairness, I had a $150 of $325 through the MyVegas program. We didn't complain about anything since we were paying almost half price. If I was paying full price it would be a totally different story. All of the food we ordered was over cooked. From shrimp to prime rib and lamb chops. The taste of the food wasn't bad, just very over cooked. I would avoid if paying full price. There are a lot of much better steakhouses on the strip for the same price point.
Only one out of 5 people thought the food was good/with it. They were accommodating when one of us needed to order gluten free, but overall not a great value. Wouldn’t recommend given the many other options available in Vegas.

Service was extremely slow and the restaurant was not packed. It took at least 20 minutes to get our dessert (cheesecake and creme bru le) and even longer to get our check. The ribeye was med well instead of med and was full of fat, definitely not worth $44, maybe $18. We had reservations but had to wait approx 25 minutes to be seated even though there were numerous open tables and booths. On a positive note, the lobster bisque, filet mignon and lobster tail were delicous.
Service was strange, we arrived on time for our reservation and after a couple minutes we were brought to the open concept lounge area to wait for our table. We waited for over 10 minutes in the lounge without being spoken to once, nor given menus or any option to have drinks. After the wait, we walked all of 15 ft across the room to our table that we could clearly see was empty the whole time from our spot in the lounge.
Upon getting to our table, we received our menus and gave our drink orders. My wife is pregnant, and the bartender did an excellent job creating her a delicious mocktail. She really appreciated it. The menu is pretty straightforward, with steaks in the range of 50-60 dollars. Unfortunately the presentation of the menu was poor, stains all over the paper, certainly not what I've come to expect at that price point.
Food was okay to good. My wife enjoyed her Ribeye, my large sized filet was nothing special, fairly bland. The Chimichurri sauce was excellent with the filet, bearnaise sauce bland and not recommended. Desserts were okay. Creme Brule was below average, Chocolate Lava Cake was delicious.
We tried it out because of a 50 dollar My Vegas reward voucher on a $125 bill. Ultimately, I would not recommend it even with the voucher, there are way too many better options on the Vegas strip to drop that kind of cash on a mediocre meal.
The price point was def not warranted for the quality of food that was served. Would not eat here again.
This place charges high prices, but service is mediocre at best. When you pay the prices they charge, you expect to make it through one course BEFORE then next one shows up. I specifically mentioned this to the server when I ordered and that I was not in a hurry, so let's not rush courses to the table. 1/2 way through my soup, here comes my full meal. You're either a high end restaurant with high service standard, or you lower your prices to reflect the service you provide.
The food and service we were excellent! It’s been a few years since I have I eaten here and we weren’t disappointed.

Made our reservations the night before in person for 8:30. We were told nothings available between 4:30 and 8:30. We found LOTS of dining times on Open Table, so I made an earlier reservation. When we get there they have no “record” of the reservation we made the night before that I was going to cancel.
Our waitress was slow to take our order, did not ask if we wanted drink refills (Pepsi) and then took 3 tries before she got my bill correct.
We’re not going back, regardless of how good their food is. From the beginning it felt like THEY were doing us a favor in letting us eat there.
We’re so not happy. And the restaurant had only a few customers until 8:30. Go figure.
On vacation in Las Vegas, selected this restaurant since stayed at the Excalibur Hotel. The food was overpriced, not seasoned and barely hot. Will not dine at this restaurant again.
Way better than expected! We loved the food and the ambiance, kinda Oldschool-LV vibe. We stumbled in almost by coincidence but ended up being very happy. Great shrimp cocktail (4 stars out of 5), lovely braised short rib (4,5/5) excellent Caesar Salad (4,5/5) and yummy cheesecake (4,25/5). Service very fast, friendly and efficient. 10-15% cheaper than the normal LV Strip Steakhouse. Would return anytime!
Food was exceptional. Service not so much. Atmosphere more cafe than steakhouse. Food was fantastic tho, have to admit!
Our server was terribly crabby. He didn’t get us more drinks until we asked although three times he noticed our glasses were empty. He ripped the desert menu from the girl handing it to us and told us we could have cheesecake or cream brûlée. The food was over salted and the chasers salad was fishy. Such a disappointment from our last visit. Our filets were cooked perfectly and saved the meal for us.
The steak is amazing.
No one came to take my salad plate before the meal arrived so I set it on a ledge

Then the steak and accompanying baked potato were barely luke warm

Delicious from start to finish! Pork belly and bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizers, filet mignon, shrimp and grits and cheesecake to top it all off! Phenomenal dinner! Must go when you go to Excalibur in Vegas.
We eat here every trip to Vegas which is about 8 times a year. We love the place. The ambience is great, the service is great and the food is amazing. This is truly one of Las Vegas’ hidden gem.
We had an MLife voucher, $100 off $225. So we expected overpriced, but also expected a certain level of excellence, being that this place is targeted as a high-end steakhouse.
Food quality was mediocre. Not even better than Outback or Longhorn. Binion's Steakhouse is MILES above this place. My steak was thin, pale, unappetizing. My crab legs were excellent, meaty and fresh - however, there were 3 of them. Three split crab legs and an unappealing, flat, ribeye for over $70. We had a pork belly appetizer that was just ok, not cooked as well as other places we've ordered it from. Nothing memorable or outstanding about this, and even with the $100, we still paid $179 (before tip) for 2 people - 4 drinks, 2 steaks, crab legs, mashed potato side dish and one appetizer. Service was spotty, inattentive. We tipped $60, and it was not deserved. We watched other people get waited on quickly while we sat there. I noted on our reservation that it was my birthday on the day we ate there, yet no mention was made of it. We saw other couples receive anniversary congratulations and acknowledgements. All in all, not the birthday dinner I was hoping for.

The food was really good, but the service was horrible. Our server only came to see us three times - to take our order, bring our food and then bring the bill. He was only friendly at the end when it seemed like he wanted a good tip. I don't usually leave reviews, but we were very excited to go to this restaurant and were extremely let down.
I do not like writing poor reviews but.....Blah. Sadly, this visit did not meet up to our expectation at all. The host’s greeting was blah. The bar greeting, where we had to needlessly wait 12 minutes, never even happened. ( how do you ignore customers for 12 minutes? ) The waiter’s greeting was blah and the food was blah. It was really surprising and disappointing for such a high-end establishment. To think of all the dignitaries’ who have visited this place and then to be sitting next to customers in shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops was a reflection of how the management must feel about the current patrons. Blah. As for the food, the French onion soup was very salty, and I even love salt. The scallops were blah and the green mashed potatoes on a plate with brown gravy – just not appealing. This was our first visit to Camelot, as the city has many options, and may have been our last.

The food was outstanding our steaks cooked to order..... the sides were very good and the service was perfect again enjoyed ourselves once we always stop in when we are in Vegas thanks
All three steaks not cooked as requested. Also quality of steak wasnt the greatest. Wouldn't eat here again.
Really good steakhouse. Maybe not quite up there with Ruth’s Chris or Morton’s etc. but very good. If you are staying at Mandalay Bay or Excalibar this is a very good choice if you want a nice steak
Unfortunately, they were completely out of the short ribs that I was going to have. So instead I had the shrimp and grits. It was good, but it wasnt shortribs.
Great ambiance but it took 15 minutes to order our drinks and another 10-15 minutes to order our food.

First time visitor for a birthday treat.
The food was pretty good. But we were overcharged and when we were waiting for the rest of our party, we were told by the manager (I believe) to go walk around then come back. So we thought they didn’t have a bar because every other restaurant on earth directs you to their bar. So odd. We were charged for three “make it a feast” items but we only had two. We had a $100 credit and the overcharge ended up being about $7 so we didn’t bother to go back to tell them since we noticed it after we got back to our room. I doubt I would go back but it was good.
The feast came with a ceasar salad, filet mignon, loaded potato and creme brule desert. All delicious. I chose a white savignon blanc white wine from California and it paired well. The service was excellent.
My 7 oz filet was not very tender, it came out under cooked two times, the bleu cheese wedge was the worst I have ever had, and the bacon wrapped shrimp had no flavor.
Food was “ok”! For $150 I would expect fabulous service, our server was not friendly at all and pretty much stood at the computer while we dined. We tipped the food runner and back server more than we tipped her!
The manager and wait staff were excellent. The salad was soggy and had a majority of yellow lettuce. The crab cake was mushy with very little meat. The steak on the other hand was cooked well.
