We had a wonderful night, the food and service were both exceptional.

Polenta dish was spectacular, as were the desserts.

Everything was phenomenal. Our waitress Alicia was great, food was unbelievable. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

As always food is amazing heather was a fantastic server it is our go to restaurant when we want to spoil ourselves- since everything is prepared to order (no frozen or prepared ahead food here - ) please be patient and you may have to wait for your reservation believe me their homemade pasta is worth the wait - portion size is smaller but very filling

Unfortunately due to COVID rules you cannot wait inside the restaurant while waiting for your reservation-

While waiting for your text to let you know the table is ready pop over to village bake shoppe next door and have a cup of tea or coffee and eye up their dessert or lunch menu so you can go back and visit there or have dessert before dinner as an appetizer lol - but personally I would wait and have the dessert at Carmelos because the apple crostini and chocolate mousse are over the top!

Carmellos will always be my favorite place to eat in Lewiston, NY. From the great service, the beyond amazing meals to the atmosphere. Grateful to be able to share a beautiful quiet evening with my son for a night of catch up. Thank you!

We were greeted in a friendly welcoming manner. Our table was ready and distance between tables made us feel comfortable with indoor dining, Our wait staff were knowledgeable of the menu choices and courteous, very nice. The food was superb, absolutely delicious, kudos to the chef. We shared a Swiss chard pancake with horseradish cream sauce as a starter. It sounds unusual, but it so good, mouthwatering.
We both opted for the double cheeseburger. We were so pleased with our choice, it was everything you hope for in a cheeseburger! The food presentation was lovely and served hot. The ambience in the restaurant was soothing along with the choice of music. This was our second time dining in this restaurant and we look forward to our next visit.

This was one of the best meals that I have had in ages. We were so impressed by everything we ordered - meatballs, bread service, swiss chard pancake, lamb, etc. Additionally, our server Diane was wonderful.

While we live further away (Buffalo), we are definitely coming back! Its so worth the 40 minute drive.

This place just never disappoints. For us, it is *the* place for a special meal and evening in western New York. Full stop. At our meal last night, the experience was enhanced further still by the warm, genuine hospitality shown by our server Alicia. She was just wonderful. And her recommendation of the budino (sp?) dessert was the proverbial icing on the cake. Bravo, Carmelo’s.

Carmelo's is my go-to when I want to ensure our friends have a great meal. And they never disappoint, including our latest visit. At our suggestion, based on our last meal, our friends ordered the chard pancake followed by the rumache with shrimp and vodka sauce and the cioppino. My husband had the Bolognese and I had linguini with basil and summer squash. We started off with the potatoes with rosemary. Already planning our next visit.

Excellent as always. Definitely our go to restaurant for an excellent meal.

The food was BY FAR the best we ate during our whole trip to Upstate New York- we had the Rigatoni Bolognese, the Calamari salad, the Lobster salad, and the burger. We also had a few cocktails- our server was excellent and would DEFINITELY return here... HIGHLY recommend!

Carmelo’s is one of our favorite places to have dinner, especially on short notice. Never a bad meal!

Food always came out "Hot" not warm.
Which is a huge plus for me.
After dinner we had dessert and it was incredible. We had the chocolate budino. Highly recommend 5stars and 2 thumbs up. Will definitely return.

Everything was wonderful, and especially appreciated the safety measures.

This is the best restaurant in our little town. Heather was the perfect server, unobtrusive but attentive. The food combines farm fresh chard pancake with horseradish cream and traditional meatballs, or pot au chocolat with heavy cream and a good wine list.

I regret that they charge for bread now but it is worth the small price!
