We offer a house baked bread basket to accompany our authentic Italian menu in a relaxed atmosphere with a well appointed bar. We have the best patio with a fireplace in Birmingham called “Piazza”

We are open Tuesday-Thursday from 4 pm to 5 pm for Happy Hour. Only the Happy Hour menu will be available during that hour.

Please note: As of February 14th, 2023, there is a 3% processing fee on all credit card transactions for all dine-in and carry-out orders.

    The selections are well-described. The antipasti and the pasta entrees are surprisingly generous. The seafood is very well-prepared, and the steaks are beyond expectations. The specialty cocktails are also very well prepared and presented. Definitely worth the price.

    The food was pretty good, but not better than most other Italian restaurants. The waiter was good and the place was nice. I think the hostess staff seemed rude and egotistical. The food was a bit too expensive, but probably due to it being in Birmingham. I wouldn't actually recommend the place to friends, but it was OK.

    3% credit card service charge added to bill. CC fees are a standard cost of doing business, especially at an expensive restaurant, and don’t like that cost being transferred to me.

    Our experience at Casa Pernoi was incredible! It came as a recommendation when my wife asked for Italian to celebrate her birthday. Jeremy was an outstanding and knowledgeable server, guiding us towards the Rabbit Ragu, Bolognese and probably the best Burrata we have ever had!

    Great food with a nice semi-private outdoor seating and some very unique food options. I had the Rabbit Ragu and others at my table had the shrimp and meatballs. We shared an antipasti sampler that was good, but didn't seem to have quite the variety that it had when I visited last year.

    I walked in with a group of 4 of us. The hostess told me the table was ready and started to walk outside. So o asked for a table inside and she said there was none. I told her when I reserved on open table the outdoor seating was fullly booked and the reservation was for inside so how is that possible. She told me if I wanted to wait it would take and hour to and hour and half for a table, then started talking to another in a foreign language with and attitude and starting then said “give me 5 mins a table opened up”. We are here all the time with friends and always have great experiences normally, but this one ruined it for me, we won’t be coming back for a long time.

    Our server James was great. I was told they have the best pasta and I just thought all 3 I tried were okay. Bread basket and butter were delicious. Caesar salad was just okay. Octopus was not my fave. Meatballs were cooked well but nothing special. The sausage & peppers were okay. Spicy Marg, Cappuccino & hazelnut dessert were great!

    Excellent on all counts! Good drinks served promptly. Fresh ingredients (+ in-house breads, pastas), flavorful sauces, all food well prepared and well-served. Server was outstanding - always a smile, happy to advise when asked, willing to spend time at the table, was attentive -- seemed in-tune with us; she set the tone of our visit and enhanced it. A MVP. Overall a really great meal and experience.

    We have been to Casa Pernoi many times and always had a great experience. We wanted to show our family since we rave about it all the time. When we went yesterday for my husband’s birthday the service was so incredibly bad we will never return. It took our waiter forever to come back to the table and order food and drinks. We had to continuously remind him that we ordered a drink and then when our food came it was all wrong. He forgot two orders of pasta and was annoyed at us when we asked for them. We even had to ask multiple times for silverware to eat. It was very disappointing.

    I had reservations for 8PM but Aunna the hostess was able to get us in at 7:15. She was so professional and friendly and sat us outside in a great spot by the breezeway. Manny greeted us and started our dining experience with a couple of waters. Our server Justin was awesome and recommended some great dishes. I had the beef carpaccio and the rigatoni and they were excellent! Suela the bartender made us the best martinis. If you are in Birmingham you have to give this place a try. A+ all the way for fine Italian dining.

    We had a reservation, but when we got there we had to wait 30 minutes before we were seated. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgable, but the food was very slow to get to our table. Total time there with all the waiting was just short of three hours. However, when the food finally arrived it was excellent. There were four of us and we each had different dishes and all were good. The branzino and octopus were outstanding. If you are willing to wait for good food this is your place.

    Couldn’t have had a better birthday celebration. Our salad, meals and wine were delicious. Our table for two in the bay window was fabulous and our service top notch. The blueberry pie was a perfect ending to a wonderful culinary experience.

    We asked for outdoor seating on our Open Table reservation but they had us set for indoors. We realized only after being seated how loud the indoor dining room was. Loud music coming through speakers and the din of a full room made it difficult to hear ourselves across our table of 5. Not as enjoyable for a $300 dinner with old friends visiting from out of town…

    We were visiting the area and wanted to try out a new restaurant for a fun girls night out. The ambiance was nice and we had a lovely table near the window where we could watch people enjoying an evening out. Unfortunately from the moment our server visited our table, we were met with a rude tone and it continued through the entire meal. She was not engaging, nor friendly, she acted annoyed at our questions about a menu we'd never seen. We asked questions about dishes and she was abrupt and cold. With that said, the beet salad was amazing and the steak (without the breading) was full of flavor. We all enjoyed our meals, despite her service. I'm not sure I'll return, but the steak was delicious!
