    Ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffle was hard and the Chicken was extremely dry. The plate size was very small and all plates a la carte were small and very salty. It was a huge disappointment

    Saturday made three times that I’ve been to the Cava Mezze Clarendon location. The first two visits were absolutely outstanding and all of the food including drinks were delicious. However, this third time I was extremely disappointed with the service we received and with the food. My friends and I received our appetizers and meals lukewarm. The food didn’t have much flavor. It was under seasoned. However, the drinks as per usual never disappoint. I enjoyed my beverages here. I will say, though our server didn’t really check up on us like he should have especially since everyone at our table got the $38 brunch mania, which includes discounted alcoholic beverages. Anytime I purchase the brunch menu or any place that has an option of discounted alcoholic, beverages or bottomless mimosas I’m trying to get the most for my book however, in this case I didn’t feel like I did I felt like we had to pull teeth just to get what we wanted. I’m not sure if I’ll be back for brunch after this experience it was a drastic, decline and disappointment compared to what I’ve experienced in the past with Cava Mezze.

    This place is great I am surprised it wasn’t busy when I showed up on a Sunday at 10:00 am, as the food is fantastic. Highly recommended. My kids loved the food as well.

    Date night with my husband. We enjoyed the warm weather with outside seating Food was excellent. Service excellent. We shared the crazy feta. OMG!! The feta was soft and maybe whipped. Very light. Seasoned to perfection with I believe was dill. I could have eaten it with a spoon. We also shared the mixed grill - more then enough food for 2 people- we have lots of leftovers. The lamb chops and beef meatballs were hands down my favorite. The gyros and lamb meatballs were my husbands favorite. The chicken skewers were good but underwhelming compared to the other meats. We munched on the fries which were perfectly seasoned. Lastly we had the sokolqta which was a mistake only because we were too full to really enjoy it. It was heavier then we thought - like a dense mousse. Plenty to share . In hindsight I would have skipped dessert. We missed the flaming cheese on the menu- but will say it was a very very popular dish. Next time.

    It was our first time in Cava Mezze and it was fantastic. The brunch menu is worth it! Do come very hungry! Lots of delicious food. I was very happy with how easy it was to modify some stuff due to my celiac. Theres GF options and they have no issues in modifying other plates. Service was amazing, super friendly. Will definitely come back soon! Thank you for a great Easter Brunch experience.

    So disappointed Cava changed their brunch menu. This used to be a top go to spot pre-COVID because there were so many options. In addition to a smaller menu, the quality of food has gone downhill. There is no uniqueness anymore - anyone can fry eggs and put on top of toast with raw spinach. Bring back the old menu! Drinks and service were great though.

    Met friends on the wonderfully sheltered patio, with heaters available if we had needed them: amazing time! Wonderful food, great service, and it was easy to manage the small plates with 2 couples (except scallops, which come in 3s - oh well). Gorgeous wines.

    I used to go to Cava for brunch prior to the pandemic, it was my favorite spot, and you can tell things have changed since the pandemic happened, food was okay, but comparing the menu pre and post pandemic, I prefer the old menu. I will keep searching places around to find my new favorite spot...

    brunchmania was so much fun! definitely worth it with the 15 cent mimosas (which i’m not really sure they really counted every refill of anyway). It was a lot of good and I took home leftovers which didn’t keep that well. Lamb benedict and grilled shrimp were probably my favorite dishes.

    This is a very attractive, modern space with plentiful parking, and our server was outstanding. We all enjoyed our meals—the marinated galbi was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, and the panchan were all excellent. The server brought as much of the sides dishes as we wanted. The salmon sashimi appetizer was plentiful and fresh—it was very spicy, which I like, but the gojuchang kind of overpowered the salmon. Oysters were excellent. The savory beef soup was outstanding. They only dish that didn’t get an outstanding grade was the crab fried rice, which was kind of boring. It would be OK as a side to the meat, but as a meal, my husband was a bit underwhelmed. We definitely intend to come back and try other dishes and cuts of meat—but only early in the evening, because the restaurant is a sea of hard spaces and as it filled up, it was extremely noisy.
