Fantastic restaurant. A little hard to find at first, but worth the search! The food was delicious. So good, we went back a second time during our trip to Japan. I have celiac disease, and they were able to accommodate and make a delicious menu, even altering some of the menu options so they were gluten free. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tokyo.
Good Food, Good Ambiance, friendly service.
Will be back
Amazing food as always with a special dessert for a birthday
Cozy atmosphere and very good cuisine. We were glad to have our plates not waiting long. The portion is small. Should expect more than ¥10,000 per person. Overall very satisfying!!
Have been here already 5-6 times. Always a success.
This is my 4th time at Cedros and once again Amazing food and great service!
The atmosphere was great and the food was even better!! The brothers who own it were the nicest guys and even better chefs! Definitely worth the train ride from Yokota and worth the money. It is small portions but it leaves you not feeling overly stuffed yet full. Excellent all around.
Found this spot via other reviews and I'm glad I stopped in. Cedros could easily be in San Francisco or New York and do really well in either city. The vibe is very hip/Brooklyn-esque with great food. The two guys working the place are from Southern California and were super chill. They even accommodated my gluten-free request and made me an app off the menu. We sat at the bar and enjoyed lots of wine and great food, including some outstanding green curry with Chilean sea bass. Overall an awesome respite from the usual standard Japanese fare.
Great Modern Fusion food with fantastic service from brothers Yui and Rui who grew up in San Diego. The craft beer selection goes well with the tapas. All wrapped in a cozy Daikanyama location with a harbor motif. Highly recommended.
My most amazing meal in Japan. Would HIGHLY recommend it!
Cedros has always been my favorite and it is THE place for me to bring and entertain my guests. All of them love the place. The locals will always say that they will come back for more.
Three important factors that Cedros have and make them exceptional:
1. The food is amazing (like seriously)
2. The ambiance is great (makes you forget that you are in hustle and bustle of Tokyo) and;
3. The service exceptional (friendly and personal)
Our third visit....friendly and warm service, cozy ambiance, amazing food...we had the spider taco hand roll for the first time...it's a must-try and a must-have...palate tantalizer!! Awesome.
Cedros is one of the best restaurant in Tokyo. The food is amazing but what keeps it above the rest is the casual and friendly service. This is very rare in Tokyo where service tends to be efficient but with less personal touch.
There is also very good vibe at the restaurant and if you want to see attractive people in Tokyo go to Cedros. They hang out there.
Cedros is one of our favorite restaurants in Tokyo. We always know we will have a fantastic meal and outstanding service. Highly recommended for any occasion!
The food is great but the uni crostini is outstanding! This is a great casual spot with consistently delicious food & warm friendly service.
Excellent food and even better hospitality. I always have a great experience at Cedros. A perfect marriage of East meets West.
I love this place. I rushed back. Just four hours after stepping off a flight from L.A. to Haneda, I was sitting at the bar watching the chef prepare my dinner in his open kitchen. It's hidden away in a mostly-residential neighborhood but well worth the trip. My favorites are the Chilean sea bass, the lobster risotto and the fried cauliflower.
My second visit, again, service with warmth and amazing food (crab cakes are to die for....)!
Fantastic place for a date. Food was amazing.
We enjoyed an assortment of appetizers and mains. Absolutely everything was delicious. Can't wait to return!!
I visited Cedros for a Christmas Eve dinner with my wife and daughter and we were provided with excellent food, service and outstanding memories! Our experience began with the adventure of finding the restaurant, but then the best restaurants are often hidden (Hakkasan Hanway Place, Waverly Inn, NYC) Set in a small alley in Shibuya-ku it's likely you will walk past several times, as we did.
A very small dining room provides a an amazingly relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The owners are brothers and personally wait on the guests, a guarantee of exceptional service.
I highly recommend the lobster risotto (we had two), Sea bass, and Cajun Cauliflower. I would go out of my way to dine here again on a return trip to Tokyo.
I love this restaurant. The food is ridiculously good and the atmosphere is great.
Great staff and great experience in a small tucked away restaurant on the side streets of Shibuya. Food was amazing!
Small restaurant but friendly helpful staff and the lobster risotto was fabulous
Amazing seafood dishes! The crab cake, sea urchin pasta, and medium rate tuna steak were among our favorites (not to mention the equally delicious earl grey cheesecake to finish off the evening with!). The wine list, both red and white, was rich enough to give us quite a few options that would go well with the Cedros specialties. The restaurant itself surely had a relaxing atmosphere, with friendly staff, interior of just the right level of simplicity, and music that was only loud enough to allow for good conversation. The sofa seats that we had reserved were cozy and spacious, but I may want to try the counter seats on my next visit. May seem a bit pricy on the surface, but I'd say its definitely worth the quality of the food, service, and location! Highly recommended for both casual get-togethers as well as birthdays and other such special occasions.
Good service, great ambiance & excellent food (risotto was to die for...).
Spot on in every way.
N1 in Tokyo! The great mix of Japanese and Mediterranean Food. A big idea for the monotone japanese kitchen. My favourite place in Japan.
Every dish was super tasty and the service was friendly and attentive with a nice laid back feel. Highly recommend!
Food delicious, really nice ambient and the guys are super nice!
I definetly recommend to try!
I really loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The food was amazing!
They have an open kitchen so if you sit at the counter, you can watch them cook.
We had their seasonal carpaccio, uni crostini, crab cake and lobster risotto! The portions are kinda small, but still really delicious
Every dish was a home run! New and interesting spins on all of our favs. Still many interesting dishes to try. Will definitely be back to try. Quaint, casual and hip. The Brothers running the place have it wired.
Four very attentive, smiling, service-minded guys did everything to make it a great experience. Food was wonderful - especially the lobster risotto. Don't miss it - remember to make a reservation :)
We ordered champagne for a start. If they really served us sparkling wine from THE Champagne area it was rather tired glass of bubbly (i know there are load of different kind of producers there). Suffering from jet-lag i didn't really care. Food was well prepared, even though not distinct, and then comes the word "but": i can't understand what makes this little restaurant the best in Tokyo.
