   At one time it might have been a good place to eat. We arrived at 6PM to a virtually empty space. The waitress was more interested in posting to her phone than servicing their customers. In general the food was well cooked even though she managed to screw up a fairly simple order. If you want to eat here, you better hurry. I think the doors will be closing shortly.

   Is Celebrity Delly on Open Table or not?? When we arrived, they had no record of this reservation. I showed them the email confirming the reservation - they had not heard of Open Table! Other than that, the food was great as always; however, the prices have gone up. The server wasn't happy with separate checks, but accommodated us.

   This was our first visit and we were underwhelmed by the food. The potato latkes were nothing more than flattened tater tots -- they needed onions, some spices! The steak and cheese eggroll was OK; I guess we should have known that meant the eggroll was deep-fried. The meat was good and the cheese a fine amount -- not too much. The scoop of egg salad was simply chopped up eggs. How about some pizzaz? Maybe some celery, onion, mustard, mayo, pepper?? Anything to add some flavor. Location is OK, plenty of parking. Staff very helpful and quick.

   Food was excellent, service good. A bit slow due to a group of 30 in front of the house, but employees were apologetic and accommodating. All good items had generous portions and were very tasty.

    Our sandwiches were amazing. In fact they were so big, we could only eat half. But, they made great leftovers. The french fries were also tasty. The waiter was funny and engaging. I hadn't been there in over 20 years but will definitely return much sooner than that next time!

    We did not have our drinks refilled at all and both spent the 2nd half of our lunch with nothing to drink. As well, for the prices you’d think a handful of fries came with the sandwiches or subs. Nothing but a pickle slice did. $10 for a steak and cheese and a thin pickle slice is pricey, considering you could get just a sub at JerseyMikes for $8. The food was good though, at least.

    Avocado toast is excellent!! Latkes are good. Tuna sandwich is the best in the area!! Service leaves something to be desired and we are not picky.

    Delly offerings (NY type) were minimal but the hot pastrami and coleslaw sandwich I had was good. Only ate half there and took half home. They were out of Dr Browns diet cream soda. Others had corned beef, which they said was good. This is a casual place, busy on a Sunday lunch but no line. It has been here, at Loehman's Plaza in Falls Church, for many years. If you want real NY-style offerings, this will do in a pinch but go to NYC. The northern VA area does not seem to have good delicatessen choices.

    First time dining for lunch and it was excellent! Our waitress, unfortunately we didn't get her name, was very welcoming and attentive. I ordered the combo half sandwich (roast beef on rye) and soup (matzoh ball) and everything was delish! Never had matzoh ball soup before and the matzoh was airy and light. The soup was your basic chicken noodle that was flavorful and filled my soul. My husband got the Elliot sandwich on rye instead of sourdough bread. He said his was wonderful. Unfortunately their sandwich portions are too big for me so the half sandwich combo is ideal for me; will have to eat off my husband's selection next time to get a taste. Oh and they have an excellent brunch menu that we'll definitely have to try next time.

    The greeting when I arrived was rather unwelcoming. I told her I had a reservation (never being there before) and she said okay and then walked away. I eventually took menus from the stand and sat myself. My server greeted me with a smile and was wonderful.

    Go see Chip, he works Monday - Thursday, most thorough and entertaining waiter, he might even make you laugh a few hundred times. The french dip is spot on, along with the other meal options.

    I made reservations for 8 people for a Monday lunch at 12:15. As on person had an emergency, we were only 7. Although our waitress was quick to get our beverages, it seemed an eternity before she took our orders and we did not receive our food orders until well after 1 PM. It is true that they were very busy, but since we'd made a reservation we were astonished that people who were seated after us were served and left long before we were. Although the food was excellent, do not go there, even with a reservation, if you expect to not spend a couple hours.

    Overall OK, and desserts were very good. Very disappointed in O'sari sandwich I ordered - brisket was tough and fatty - couldn't eat it. Salmon sandwich my friend had was pretty good. Server was very friendly and nice, but he was only one so it took a while to get our menus.

    I am a fan of Celebrity Delly for lunch, but their breakfast was mediocre. The kitchen also wasn't able to handle getting a party of six the food at the same time. Will not go back before noon.
