Century Bar and Grill
The Place was Classy with a Sports Bar Feel! The Bar was beautifully setup and my wife and I had to sit in front of the Giant TV! We ordered the Wings and Beef Sliders and they did not disappoint. Very Juicy and Tasty. Will be swinging by again soon.
The service was terrible as was the overall experience. The service was horrendously slow, and the waitress never came over to check on us. Fifteen minutes to get our drinks, and I had to remind the waitress 5-10 minutes later that one of us was still waiting for his beverage. Appetizers took well over thirty minutes to be served. One person got her entree and the other two did not show up until we had been there over one hour. I cancelled the order and we left. It was not because the place was packed and super busy. Quite the contrary, the main section of the restaurant was fairly empty yet I saw several people seated after us that got their food in a more timely manner.
The menu is very basic; flatbreads, sandwiches, etc., but the quality is outstanding. Some of the best French fries around. The only thing that was odd was that the chicken wings were the tiniest wings I ever saw. It was like they had found mini chickens. Also, the food service was a bit slow. There were not very many people there that night, so not sure why kitchen was so slow with food.
This will be my new ‘go to’ when going to The Forum. Food was very good, service was great, big screen TVs everywhere to watch sporting events. So happy to have found this place. Would highly recommend if your going to The Forum, or you just want to hang and watch sports or play cards in the casino.
I made reservations at Century Bar and Grill in Inglewood because we had a concert at the Forum afterwards and it was close by. I did not realize the restaurant was inside a Casino. It was the night of the Dodgers playoffs and the bar was full, which was fine as it was in a separate room. The problem was that there was a guy who kept yelling through a microphone at the bar about different things going on during the game. I imagine there was a lot of betting going on. Regardless, the food was very good and the service was great. The kitchen was a little weird as three of us had ordered steaks and she had to bring them out separately. As it turned out, my steak was given to someone else due to this confusion. Otherwise I would have give the food a 5 star for what it was. I would never go eat there unless I was going to the Casino. If someone is going to the Casino to play, then I highly recommend it.
Bartender was rude and ruined the whole experience for us. She literally was arguing with us about making a drink from our table. It was embarrassing and unprofessional and I won’t be going back anytime soon.
Food was good but like other's who have reviewed, service was VERY Slow! Don't be in a hurry cuz you will be late. On the other hand, getting an Uber to go to the Forum was super easy and cheap. And did I mention free valet parking.
Overall, the service really killed this experience. Drinks were slow to come to the table even though we saw them sitting on the bar. My husband asked for ketchup for his fries and never received it. He said his chicken sandwich was good, but the flatbread was not tasty - it lacked the right amount of cheese and the dough was chewy, not flaky or light like a flatbread should be. It was a good stop before a concert since it is just down the street from the Forum, but probably won't go back.
Nice sports bar to get a drink and bite before heading out to a concert at the Forum.
