Food was absolutely amazing, as was our service with Bryce.

We’ve lived in Savannah six years and very much enjoy the dining scene here, but this was our first time at Cha Bella. Always thought it looked “touristy” and passed it up. Friends said it recently improved, had a nice outdoor space (a must in our Covid era), so we decided to try it. Unfortunately, it was one of the coldest nights this year so we asked to be seated indoors. No problem, staff was happy to accommodate and interior ambience (and social distances) was fine. Waiter was also very nice and helpful explaining the menu. We tried several different appetizers and all were excellent. Two people enjoyed their entrees, but two others felt their dishes were bland and uninspired. I liked Cha Bella enough to return and try again, but food offerings need to improve.

A different one, we really enjoyed our time at Cha Bella. Finally we found a new menu that stands out from regular southern cuisine...

Food was the best we had the entire week we stayed in Savannah! Our waiter was charming & had a great sense of humor. Every course was delicious, service was excellent & tables were spaced out. We were surprised most restaurants we went to were thought were not following covid guidelines well at all. At Cha Bella tables were deff 6ft or more apart & we were very comfortable & felt safe & warm under heaters & the pretty lights in the outside garden.

It was perfect for a New Years Eve date night!

So happy we discovered this place for New Years Eve. We wanted to sit outside and their patio is very cool. Lots of hanging lights, spaced out tables and a real lantern on the table. The food and drinks were presented beautifully and were done to perfection. Will go there again. A little pricey, but this was a special menu for the night.

From the great follow up on our reservation that was set to the beautiful ambiance, extremely friendly service staff and delicious cuisine it was just Devine.

We will return next time in Savannah and recommend to others as a Must!

Perfect restaurant excellent food

THE BEST, HANDS DOWN. Please, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The food was amazing, portion sizes are big, and compliments to the chef for perfection on every single bite. The ambiance for outside dining was rustic yet elegant, the service was outstanding, and the fact that everything is local farm to table is the cherry on the top. Cha Bella is a hands down MUST and it will be the first reservation I make next time I'm in Savannah.

Absolutely over the top!

The outdoor garden was lovely, heaters made the evening outside comfortable. The food was delicious. Portions were generous so sharing recommended. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and enormous. The shrimp and scallop risotto delicious. Enjoyed the butter rum cocktail too. Best meal we had in Savannah.

We made a last minute reservation to celebrate a friend's college graduation. We were looking for something nice with outdoor seating. Cha Bella exceeded all expectations! The food was delicious; service was courteous and timely; the atmosphere was perfect for an evening out in Savannah. I will definitely be returning!

Great experience-

We were disappointed that patio was closed because it was very cold. We are inside as the only patrons of the restaurant. We had a delicious meal with a charming waiter. Will return in the spring to eat on the patio.

Incredible cocktails , DELICIOUS food (and incredible presentation) and mouthwatering desserts.

Amazing food experience! Server was ok but not into us. Restaurant is beautiful and it was a great experience overall.

Touted as a “farm to table, scratch restaurant” this was neither. The “fresh baked” bread was definitely frozen. The clams and chorizo app were covered in sand. We sent them back and got another round with an equal amount of grit. We paid full price and we’re offered nothing complimentary which would have been fine if the second round had been edible. Our charred Caesar was minuscule and flavorless. Our risotto entree was overcooked and severely lacking in saffron and the filet was unevenly cooked. My husbands craft cocktail tasted like it came out of a slushie machine at 7-11. On the upside the outdoor seating had a lovely ambiance and was properly socially distanced.

Ohmygoodness. What a phenomenal meal and dining experience! We celebrated my mother’s 72nd birthday here and couldn’t have enjoyed a better evening. Rachell was our server and was an absolute gem. Everything we asked for, she was able to accommodate. She took photos of our tiny family, celebrated and delighted in my mom’s birthday, and displayed an enthusiasm for our experience that you don’t find in servers elsewhere. The shrimp and scallop risotto was indeed heavenly, made remarkable especially due to the Chardonnay-tarragon sauce. We put a twist on the burrata to everyone’s delight and could’ve eaten the bread for the table all evening and been fully content. And then there’s the magical key lime pie. The grilled romaine salad was also done correctly, a dish we had a poor experience with elsewhere just two nights before at another restaurant. I’d return to Cha Bella any evening I’m in Savannah again and will tell others to seek it out on their visit, but to also certainly seek out Rachell. And please don’t sleep on the wonderfully sweet patio, especially during these pandemic times.

They should not do "Family Style". Our portions were unbelievable small and we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated for our 5:00 reservation. They ran out of dinner rolls -- how do you do that on a holiday when reservations are required. The food was average; the desserts were awful.

Our waitress Rochelle was outstanding and the food was excellent. We will visit this restaurant again.

Thanksgiving dinner - food was amazing! Many very tasty dishes; a little shy on quantity but we do t require truck driver portions. Creative and yummy food.

The Thanksgiving menu was phenomenal! The turkey was the best I’d ever had. Everything was perfectly cooked and served hot. On a super busy day, the service was incredible! Rachell was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was amazing, but we attended on Thanksgiving and missed out on a few of the dishes we expected. Other tables got sides that we didn’t and I can only imagine that we may have gotten a few sides that other tables didn’t get. Beautiful setting and great attention to social distancing needs. Friendly and helpful staff.

Visited Savannah to celebrate thanksgiving and chose this place after reading other reviews. Did not meet the expectations at all.

Being a local, this was my first time at Cha Bellas. I had not heard much about it, but it being Thanksgiving and their menu sounded yum, my husband and Mom and I decided to try it. We made reservations and arrived 10 min prior. We were sat upon arrival and knew that the meal would be served family style so there was no need to order. After about 25 min our first course, a salad came out. It actually tasted well, and then we waited almost another 20 min for our food to come out. And it came out slowly.... 2 or 3 dishes at once and the portions were suppose to be for 3 people and were barely enough for one. Other tables with only 2 people seemed to have larger portions than we did. We ended up not even receiving everything that was on the menu before they brought us dessert. For $45 A PERSON, we left hungry. Something that no one should be on Thanksgiving! They also added a gratuity of 20%, which is fine and I understand its a holiday, but the service was subpar and our server couldn't care less that we didn't get all of our dishes...they also did not tell us there was an automatic gratuity. So for 3 people, we spent over $175 for cold, small portions and went to waffle house after. 10/10 would not go back for normal menu.

Appetizers and drinks were great! So delicious! The entrees were a little disappointing. Would still eat here again but maybe order appetizers only.

Romantic night under twinkle lights in the covered outside area. The server was like a tour guide for the menu. The food was unique with complementary flavors in each dish. Loved it!

Great food! Unexpected gem!!

The service staff were all great. Clams needed to be cleaned. They were very sandy and salty. The grouper and shrimp/scallops dishes were delicious and we'll cooked. We sat in the corner of the patio by the base speaker so the music got a bit obnoxious. Otherwise everything else were very enjoyable. Will definitely make Cha Bella a regular rotation.
