Great place to eat and hangout! Service was good, food and drinks were good as well!

If was not that busy. We made a reservation and we were seated right away.
This was 330pm on a Sunday.

We could see my daughters dinner sitting over 10 minutes
Under the heat lamps. Waiting for my CRISPY shrimp tacos.

Our waitress never said anything on why it took so long.
She never refilled our drinks and dropped the check and was MIA again.

Good food, waitress was fantastic.

Champps is not located real close to us but it is convenient when we meet up with some family on other side of city. Our niece always wants to go there. Because of this we keep giving them a chance but just has been disappointing each time in some basic areas. To be fair, a representative did reach out after our initial complaint and provide a discount on next meal. But in 3 visits over last few months here is breakdown....
Dinner 1: real slow service and hamburger came with cheese after requesting No Cheese.
Dinner 2: returned to use discount from previous and had some issues with reservation and wait but biggest issue was hamburger with side salad came as cheeseburger (cheese again) and French fries.
Dinner 3: yep, hamburger came with cheese for 3rd straight time. Largest issue here was I got replacement when 3 of 4 had already finished meals. They did remove a beer from bill and brought extra fries while others ate. By then didn’t eat much of replacement burger.

Great meal. The ahi tuna tacos were delicious, and the share sized pretzel bites were the perfect size for the three adults in our party. Typical noise & ambience for a sports bar, but way better food than I expected.

Food was decent besides our appetizers coming out slightly cold. Our waitress was absolutely terrible taking 10 minutes just for waters and another 10 minutes to put our order in. Only came to check on us once and it wasn’t until we were done eating that I got a refill for my water which was empty before our entrees came out.

Overall, dinner was fine. Food was a bit cold, a few of the burgers were overcooked, and there was an error in one order, but the error was rectified. Server was nice and Champps was able to push our reservation up an hour which was greatly appreciated.

Appetizers came out at the same time as meal, kids’ meal pizza was not fully cooked and had to be sent back. Salmon and Brussel sprouts was tasty and well made.

Food was not great, wrong order, and not enough staff working - took forever!!

Great that they take online reservations . It’s even better that our table for 7 was available at checkin. Everything was good from their extensive menu and service was attentive. Great for kids.

Have always had a good experience until now. Food was cold, shrimp tough, waiter way out of line using endearing words like sweetheart, love . Very inappropriate and I found offensive. Don’t even know the guy...

Service and food were great! It was loud due to March Madness, but we were able to hear each other over the table. Highly recommend the ribs and the fish tacos!

We walked in and were given a table right away . We had to wait a few minutes for some of our group to show up . The waitress was great coming over as soon as they sat down to see if knew what they wanted to drink or if she should give them a few minutes. The food and drinks were great and it's nice they have some local beers. We had dessert and they looked and tasted very good . The only complaint we all talked about was that the desserts were to big .

Very noisy with conversations and the music in background is way too loud. Have to shout to communicate with people at your table.

When we first arrived it was pleasant and we could talk and then a game on the tv was turned up way too loud!

Everything was fine with this restaurant and our dinner. Nothing special. Food was good..service was good. all was good. Would we go again? Yes. Is this our first choice for a romantic dinner? No. Honestly, somebody who likes Sports Bars would probably rate this 5 stars.

Fun atmosphere, fried chicken sandwich was Very over cooked and garlic mashed potatoes were not very good. The burgers were great.

Used to love coming here, good food, good service, etc. The food quality had dropped, stuff not coming out hot, and the appearance/quality of prep is not up to past standards. Disappointed.

Wait staff was wonderful, provided attentive service, answered questions and delivered food in a timely manner.

Great ncaa night. I have special dietary needs that were met with kindness and a tasty low salt dinner. Great burger. Our server gave me great.hrlp and worked very well w the kitchen. Many thanks. I was able to enjoy my meal knowing that great attention had been given in the preparation.

My husband and I and our son went to dinner on Friday night. I was excited to go because I have always enjoyed the food here. However Friday night was not the case. I ordered the kale and quinoa salad with salmon. The description on the menu says it is with spring mix. When it was brought to the table it had ice burg lettuce in it. Which I donot eat. So I politely asked if they could fix it. When it was brought back you could tell they just picked the ice burg out. Threw a few pieces of spring mix in and called it a day. Now I realize it was called a kale salad. However there was so much kale, and the pieces were so big I could barely eat it. There was no flavor and Not to mention my salmon was way under cooked. The server did come to check on us, I barely answered when he asked if everything was ok. I felt bad. I've been a server for 19 years, I didn't want to send it back again. So I kept quiet. However I didn't eat it at all and I pushed it to the side. Now because I've been a server for so long I can read people very well. And if someone doesn't touch their food and pushes it aside it's my job to realize that and fix it. Or atleast ask if something was wrong. But he just took it away and I was left to pay for food I didn't eat. I'm bummed because I used to love the food there but not sure I'll be back again!

Great time watching the Super Bowl at Champps with friends. Awesome $20 buffet and reasonably priced beers at $2.50. Second year watching the game with friends. Plan to do it again next year. Makes it easy for everyone versus hosting a party at the house.

Had a volleyball tournament in Rochester for the weekend, and wanted to have dinner Saturday night with the entire team and their family members. Can't really make reservations because you don't learn the volleyball schedule until Saturday progresses. With an hour's notice, the manager, Kenneth, was able to seat us together, despite many other large parties coming in around the same time. He was extremely patient on the phone and helped provide lots of options to accommodate us, even though it was clear the restaurant was busy when I called and his staff was likely tapping him on the shoulder asking questions around him while he was on the phone with me. I also spoke with someone named Caitlin before Kenneth, and she was equally pleasant to speak with. Keep up the great work!

The overall experience of dining at Champps was great! The food was great! The service was also great! It wasn’t too loud and there was enough room for my friends and I. We enjoyed everything that this restaurant had to offer, including the prices. The food and drinks were very affordable.

Reservations / call ahead / getting seating was ridiculous. Our waitress was awesome. Way to much noise to socialize with friends. Food was not that great and extremely expensive.

Great food and plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports!
