Extensive menu and very reasonable prices. Check out the daily specials, especially Wednesday $5.00 half pound burger special. Decent wine list at reasonable prices.
We had the Walleye bites and the Friday fried cod special with extra Cole slaw (no potatoes). We also had the garden salad with honey mustard dressing. The major disappointment was the special dessert. The caramel sensation was more like a no bake Jello peanut butter pudding on top of some sponge cake with a hot fudge layer. Thank goodness for the big blob of whipped cream and caramel syrup drizzled on top. The fish and sides were great but the dessert was poor at best.
We have been regularly going here for a time.. this last visit we waited for over one and a half hours to get our food..and the chicken was extremely salty. The hostess was waiting on us. And didn't attend to us very well. Short handed I bet.
Excellent food and good price. Relaxing and a nice view of the Golf Course.
We found everything to be quite enjoyable overall and had excellent service, particularly for our size group (14). We will definitely return and would recommend to others!
Awesome! Our server was more than accommodating
A neighborhood gem for broasted chicken on Sundays! They really should consider making this a permanent menu item. Does not disappoint!
Every part of our evening was enjoyable George at the bar was very welcoming and helpful with our drink decisions. His suggestions were spot on. Dinner specials were great and we enjoyed regular menu selections as well. Ran in to some friends we hadn’t seen for years. Great night at Chandler’s
This was our first visit to Chandler’s. Chandler’s has a very cozy atmosphere. The service was great and friendly. The food was also great. It was like having a really good home cooked meal. We’ll be back!
This was our first time at Chandler's, and overall, we had a great experience! My husband and I made a reservation for our Valentine's dinner (on the 15th). I wanted a nice steak dinner, but we didn't want to go to the stuffy A La Carte (aka Expensive) steak restaurants. Chandler's had good reviews online, and I noticed their prices were very reasonable. This place is a hidden gem - one of those restaurants where it sort of feels like an old school supper club, but they have consistently great food quality, and the atmosphere is charming. We could tell that since it's at a golf club, Chandler's had its regular clientele, and mostly an older crowd. However, there were some younger couples and people with families there. We felt welcomed, and our server, Pam, was attentive, despite them being more busy than they'd been used to. Everything we ordered was prepared well, the portions were ample, and the prices were right. Our drinks were about $5 to $7 each, the steak dinners were around $20 - $30 each, and included all the sides and salads. We mentioned that I had a coupon, since i joined their online rewards club, and the waitress made a joke about hoping to see us back again, since we joined the club. Lol. We'll be back.
Always great- food, service
Service was great as we have been coming here for quite a while..
Food is delicious as usual...
My husband and I ate here a lot because we booked our reception here 10 years ago. There are many choices in Schaumburg but because we both like it and sentimental value we went there for my birthday. Food always good, service good, prices very reasonable
We were seated as soon as we arrived. Our waitress was helpful when we chose our entrees. We each enjoyed our entree, and we shared the Death by Chocolate dessert which was delicious.
We went on a Thursday night rib special night. Noticed there was only one waitress and one boss boy helping to serve food to tables. Very busy night waitress was pleasant and very hardworking! Didn't seem bothered by lack of Staff. No hostess at the hostess stand to greet us waitress just told us to go sit where we want. Soup was hot and good. Nice fresh bread...I ordered the rib and chicken tenders combo. Was only brought half slab ribs no chicken tenders told the man that brought me my food I ordered the combo. She went back to the kitchen and reordered my chicken tenders and were brought to me in a timely fashion... add a birthday coupon and then waitress knew it was my birthday but never offered to bring any kind of birthday treat as they usually do. One thing that I have noticed there for the last few times we've been going they have very loud rock music playing not good dinner music or quiet music I feel like I'm at a 70s rock concert!! and it is annoying and hard to carry on a conversation from the speakers overhead ... we do enjoy the food there it is good quality and prices and enjoy the specials that they have different evenings ...hoping next time we go they have more help and dinner music....
Love Chandler’s. Love their daily specials. The space is attractive especially in the summer when you can look out over the golf course. Food and service are good.Noise level is good for conversing over dinner
Pam is the best waitress! Excellent service, good food, nice atmosphere.
All three couples enjoyed their meals and our server listened well to a few requests and accommodated us perfectly and with the right amount of friendly! Very comfy dining room with lovely view...even on a cold snowy night! Steaks done as ordered and delicious as always.
We had a family dinner this night and spent 3 hours enjoying good food and conversation.
We started with the sampler platter and some extra calamari.
Our waitress Pam did a great job of keeping our drinks full and made good suggestions about tonight's specials and main entree's.
We had a variety of dishes from prime rib sandwiches to short ribs, to filet (cooked perfect medium rare). We also did the Mahi Mahi fish special, the fried perch special, and breaded Chicken fettuccini. Every one enjoyed their meal. Our only negative comment was the lake perch was too thin to really enjoy the fish. One or two of the eight pieces were thick enough to taste the fish, the others were too thin.
We booked with Open Table and restaurant said they don't work with OPen Table. They were full and turned us away until I showed them the confirmation from Open Table. Then they scrambled to fit us in and managed to do this after a 20 minute wait. Make sure you call restaurant directly to confirm your reservation.
Excellent service from Deb and food was very good
Our waitress Elaine did a fabulous job. Our food was hot and tasty.
The place was nicely decorated for the holidays.
Great food and great service. Prices were not out of line.
We really enjoyed ourselves at Chandler’s. The Mac n’ cheese appetizer was delicious and the bread was wonderful. My husband’s steak was perfect but I could not eat my fish. Over cooked. Very dry. I used a lot of the delicious tartar sauce. Best I ever had. But the fish was inedible. Maybe an off night.
Great value. Seemed to be short on servers so service was slow.
I love this place, but tonight was totally different, so disappointed. It will be a while before I return.
We had a reservation for 7 people at 6:30pm for my Dad's birthday. We did not receive bread for an hour. Our drinks were okay, but one member ordered a Brandy Manhattan and it was served with a cherry and orange slice. Never have I ever heard of this before. Needless to say, the drink was ruined. We finally received our appetizer at 7:45pm, which we devoured because we were so hungry. Our waitress brought our French Onion soups out, which were hot but SUPER salty, it was hard to eat. Due to the wait, none of us were really hungry for the meals we ordered. We had to continue to request water before receiving a pitcher that was 1/4 full at our table. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. We were served our dinner at 8pm. That is absolutely absurd since we placed our appetizer and dinner orders at 6:45pm. One person ordered the Penne Pasta with Vodka sauce - no sausage. The Penne Pasta came with sausage and no sauce. The waitress did bring sauce later. A short while after, we asked for to-go boxes and didn't receive bags for them. Women in our party used the restroom and there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls and they were not cleaned for a while. The waitress NEVER came to see how our meal was. We BARELY saw her. Other tables were being served in a timely manner, but we weren't. Thank goodness the retaraunt remembered that I made the reservation for a birthday through OpenTable and also mentioned it when we walked in. We have dined here numerous times and have never been treated like this before.
Service was good but very s l o w.
The service and food was very good as always.
ribs -0k, shrimp not good, salmon under cooked,
chicken over cooked
Excellent service, excellent food at affordable prices.
Food was great, as usual and great value. We always enjoy Chandlers.
A solid suburban eatery with good variety and consistent quality!
Relaxed, warm atmosphere with great views of the golf course, abundant flowers, and outdoor fountain. The Canadian salmon entree was excellent. Perfect lunch portion served with capers, wild rice and a blend of zucchini and squash. The baked french onion soup was delicious as well. My husband raved about his steakburger with cheese and bacon. Cooked perfectly and very filling. My mother in law had the parmesan crusted chicken breast over linguine. Very tender and flavorful as well. My father-in-law had the club sandwich with cole slaw. Very fresh and generous portion. The service was very attentive and friendly. Good prices for excellent quality meals. Great first experience and we will all definitely be returning!
Good variety on menu! Best pork chops! Enjoyed the Variety plate appetizer. Will go back! Everyone in party enjoyed their dinner!
Food was excellent as usual and service was great!
Go for the broasted chicken. leftovers guaranteed. Yum!!
Excellent menu with many choices. Fair prices. Excellent food. We had the Sunday special broasted chicken which is excellent. Plenty of food for the price.
Food was very good at very reasonable prices. Service was not great.
The food was well prepared and was very flavorful. The menu options were varied and very cost efficient.
