Lovely! Would go again!

The place is lovely and very romantic, I recommend it for a date. The staff is amazing and the good was great.

Overall I was very unhappy with my trip to Charlotte Quay. I'm not one to leave reviews but felt I had to after this. All of the waiting staff seemed to be living on a different level entirely! We were left waiting at the door before we got shown to our seat (despite arriving right on time) and it just went downhill from there. I felt like I had to repeat myself 2-3 times every time I spoke to one of the waiters and when we ordered both dinner and dessert, the waiters came back down to ask us to repeat the order IN FULL both times. They were all just on a different planet and it made for a really poor experience.

The food was okay. The steak and chips were too salty and the steak was also very fatty but it was quite a nice flavour. My partner was happy with the cod also. Both the dessert and the house white wine were probably the best features of the evening so kudos there. However we were expecting something a lot better for the price. I have come across better steaks for half the price in a lot of other places in Dublin.

The ambience was alright but it was very loud. Maybe I got a different impression of the restaurant when booking, but it wasn't a great spot for a date night. The music was really blaring. It could have been taken down a few levels and it would have struck a good balance.

In terms of COVID-19 protocols, everything was to a great standard so credit is due there as well. Everything was well socially distanced, staff were wearing masks and plenty of hand sanitizers.

Service was generally good but we had to have three goes at getting an aperitiff for one of the party. Food came promptly and it was generally good but steaks were tough.

Excellent restaurant and great food and atmosphere

This is a great restaurant with lovely views over Grand Canal Dock. We were really well looked after, the tables in the outdoor area were spread out for Covid compliance, the food was delicious and I will be back again.

The food and service as always were perfect.
We went on a lunchtime so I cannot say the atmosphere was great however I have been here many times before and it was absolutely perfect!

Nice atmosphere and setting with lovely views at night, beautiful food, very nice and tentative staff, quick service. Dinner set menu was on the expensive side but happy with same given the overall experience. Great experience overall, would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic night out. First time visiting but food and service were excellent, as was the ambience. COVID regulations fully observed, with plenty of space per table. Great value.

Food was excellent but portions were very small. Main course of fish does not come with any sides, luckily I have a small appetite. We were seated inside and the guy behind the bar continuously banged and clattered around. It was very distracting. Staff were great and friendly. Would go back again but overall it is on the pricey side.

Had a fab dinner here. The food was gorgeous, but maybe a bit overprice (Particularly starts). Drinks were good, but the night was made by our server who was so nice, friendly, helpful with the menus and just very warm and made the dinner very nice.

Had a beautiful meal in this gorgeous setting- seated right beside the Christmas Tree! Espresso Martinis are particularly delicious. Looking forward to returning.

The place is wonderful and food really delicious but my friends and I thought that the main course is not enough, the fish was very small. But the rest it was really good.

The food was great, beautifully presented and very tasty. The Christmas menu is short but that's all that you need - starters, mains and dessert were brilliant, however, slightly overpriced for the size of the portion received.
The main issue was the temperature at 'heated terrace' - it was freezing and we had to rush to finish our meal and go home to warm up.

It was great to be back but I would prefer to feel more comfortable sitting in a better spot.

Great night had will definitely be back.

Great staff, the Christmas menu was phenomenal and the location is beaut and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of pandemic Dublin while also being close to the city. go!

The staff was really nice. We sat on the outside and it was quite windy, but the heaters were able to keep the group warm. The food was great, I had a vegetarian plate and it was really good.

Had gotten a beef burger, the burger came out pink, it wasn’t even cooked!!

Never disappointed with this place.

I’m afraid to say it was the worst meal I’ve ever eaten in Dublin. We were a table of three and none of us ate our starters or mains. The waitress noticed we hadn’t touched any of the food but didn’t ask why. It came to almost €70 per head and it was honestly revolting food. Such a shame as it’s a beautiful location.

Staff were so friendly and accomodating. Very good social distancing, heaters and an overhead cover. Food was good and 2 for 1 cocktails were great!!

Our visit to Charlotte's Quay was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and very aware of COVID 19 guidelines. The food was really good,we had the burger and cod croquettes, would highly recommend.
The view of the Grand Canal Area was lovely and really added to our visit.

We will be back again.

The location was excellent. Unfortunately my food was very poor. I have the duck special. It was a duck leg sitting on top of deep fried cubed potatoes that had blobs of soggy onions sitting on them. Not good.

Food was good, nice place, guy who served our meals was really nice, but the waitress/hostess who showed us to our seats and took our order was very rude and should not be dealing with customers in a restaurant.

Nice location and lovely staff but the food is not great, I sent back my main and the rest of the food was just ok. It's very expensive as well for very small portions. The coffee was good though and they have plenty of outdoor seating with nice views. Overall they would have to up their game on the food side of things food side of things for me to go back.

Very relaxing brunch. Food really nice and had a 2 for 1 on cocktails!
