Chart House Restaurant - Philadelphia
Our night was amazing, from the concierge‘s, to the waiter to the food! Just an overall great experience! My 10 and 13 year old loved every minute of it.
It's a nice fancy place for a date food was ok drinks were better. Would be nice to have a bit more variety of food but besides that it was ok.
Music was a little loud. AC was a little too cold. Food was amazing. View was wonderful. Moon came up over water.
After several years of not coming to the Chart House, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant still serves high quality food in a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed her pleasantries and of course the delicious complimentary desserts for our birthdays.
We will not wait so long to return now that we have been reminded of what we liked so much in the past.
Oh, we were grateful to get seated right away at the table we wanted by the window. The Camden view was lovely and relaxing.
Foid was amazing. The best service i have had in years. Beautiful view by the water
Greeted with such fineness and courtesy, the food entree was very good however the sides could be better and more flavorful. The Potato was a bit soggy and under seasoned. Definitely a beautiful place to take a date or just a special night out and splurge with your significant other.
The experience was good. Even when my food was a little messed up, the manager came asked if I wanted something else. The server was on point.
Service was horrible
good food and service
the staff was fine - however reservations were for 11am and not all staff was there, doors didn't even open till 11am and salad bar was still not ready when we were finally seated 11:15.... entrees were limited choices and arrived looking less appealing than the price implies. tasted ok, but when paying so much for it, expected it to be much better. very small flute of orange juice sold as a mimosa - did not detect any champagne and surprised there was no garnish as flute was so small
Great place! Food was excellent, Michael was great!
This was our first time at the Philadelphia Chart House. We've been to several Chart Houses on the East Coast and this one is definitely in the top 2. The Manager, Wade, was attentive and made us feel like we were regulars.
The clam chowder was the best we ever had. The rest of our meals were excellent as well.
The entire evening was great, from the valet parking, cocktails at the bar, Server was attentive & friendly, Food was excellent as usual
Had an amazing dinner with my favorite two people in the world.
My experience was amazing! My
Mom absolutely loved the Chart House and they made her birthday special. Kyle was the best waiter!
Loved the atmosphere service was very good waiter was very engaging food was great
Beautiful view and table. Waiter was young and enthusiastic , but you should not give an inexperienced waiter 5 tables. Order was wrong, and took too long. Not his fault...
Terrible told us they were packed and we made reservations right through this app and got a table 5 mins later . I’m not sure why they would lied other then i look young
Nice place beautiful views... excellent service!!!
had a very nice evening / service & food were great as usual!!
We have not been to the Chart House in over 20 years. We were pleasantly surprised and very happy to be back. Our waiter, Mike, was friendly and efficient, the view of the New Jersey beautiful, the atmosphere warm ,quiet and comfortable. The food, excellent, and I have never in my 83 years, had the chef come to my table to have me cut my steak to see if it was done right. We will be back.
My husband and I had a nice quiet dinner. It was his birthday and we enjoyed our food.
Close to home I deal parking beautiful views I can only imagine how pretty it would be in the summer but still on a great day I was still beautiful the decor reminded me of a cruise ship dining room which we like and the food was delicious so we plan on coming back soon as we can
Guess Open Table is not interested in people giving a thorough review of the places the have on their site so I will go with this place was HORRILBLE. MEDIOCRE QUALITY FOOD AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Especially the manager of this location. I tried to shorten the review and kept getting an error message to shorten. Guess they dont want a detailed review. I will not recommend coming here. You can read my entire review on Yelp or Google.
Food, ambiance and seating was superb.
Absolutely the worst service we’ve experienced in 26 years of eating here.
I love our server, Alaina. Shes so nice and accomodating. Kinda pricey but the food did taste great. But the only complain I have is the lady who brought us to our table. She's not that nice and helpful. We asked if we can move near by the window glass. SHe's kinda annoyed and she said she will try. But she never came back to follow up. And the tables by the glass windows were occupied throughout the time we were there. I even saw her in the restroom and didnt even smile. Forgot to get her name.
Simply put - it’s solid on the fundamentals, but lacks the creativity that one sees from other restaurant groups. The space, while scenic seems tired and in need of an update. The menu is adequate but I’d like to see more specials featuring fish like branzino and halibut, etc...
Service was nice but mediocre. There were three issues; my entree’s starch wasn’t swapped for veggies as requested which created a wait and my wife’s fish was undercooked as we had requested well done salmon which created another wait. Finally, there was a hair on one of the dinner rolls. Ultimately, those issues hampered our dining experience and we pretty much decided we wouldn’t cone back. One and done.
Great place to eat with an awesome view. Customer service is always a premium and food is of quality. Still puzzled about the dress code and whether its enforced. Highly recommend the stuffed flounder!!
We had Carol as our server and she was outstanding
I enjoyed my experience and the food was great.
I have been hear be for on regular nights but chose to go on valentines day with my girl friend and I was not impress by the food. The valentines menu was over price for the value, so I just wanted to ordered regular lobster tail from the menu but they did not have any available. I chose to get salmon as my next option and needless to say it was so bland and cheap but over price. I could have gone to Friday's and got better food. I like the Charter house, but Valentines day night the food was horrible and not many options. The desert was good the ambiance was outstanding, especially the view. Free valet parking was great. I will still go again, but not on Valentines day.
One my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia for the last 30 years will never go back again. We were seated right away at one the worst tables in the house in the corner against the wall, with only two chairs so we had to put out coat and hat on the window sill. Salad bar was better than my last visit. My husband ordered the oysters Rockefeller which is no longer on the menu but they made it for them, and New York
