Cheever's in OKC is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants and it was my stepdad's favorite so we'd go there for special occasions. When looking for a brunch place in Tulsa, Cheever's popped up. I was excited since my daughter was visiting this past weekend.
We ended up having a lovely Sunday brunch with great service and no issue at all with having a 5-month old at the restaurant and one in our party needed gluten-free. We started with a drink, the espresso martini was delicious, almost like a dessert and the Lavender Haze was delicious. It's a lovely shade of purple and served with a flower floating in it. Really complemented the Blue Cheese Potato Chip starter.
I had the smoked brisket hash which has roasted sweet potatoes, red onions, yellow bell peppers, two sunny side up eggs, and bbq hollandaise. The brisket was so flavorful and amazingly tender. 5-star dish that my husband raved about when he got to eat my leftovers.
The rest of the party ordered a Caesar Salad w/ shrimp (minus the spicy dressing), Chopped Salad w/ shrimp, Masa Vallo Con Huevos, and the Cowgirl Benedict. Everyone raved about their entrees. There was also a soup: Toscano and that was a hit as well.
Lovely place to eat, as good or better than the OKC location (but it doesn't have the history that OKC does). We'll definitely be coming back.
