As a polished Louisiana brasserie, Chemin à la Mer blends the elegance of a French brasserie with the Creole, Cajun and Gulf Coast character of New Orleans. Led by Chef Donal Link, the menu celebrates New Orleans' rich culinary heritage through a French lens including duck confit, shrimp étouffée, moules frites, and chicken fricassée. Dessert is an experience unto itself. Indulge in French-inspired classics such as crêpes Suzette, prepared tableside and flambéed to order. Located on the 1st floor of Four Seasons Hotel at 2 Canal Street, we provide a vibrant setting for fine dining. The Filet Mignon was outstanding ! The crab dip au gratin was decadent and rich I had the drum fish with blue crab topping it was heavenly ! The staff was so mindful we celebrated a birthday and they helped make the night one to remember ! Excellent !

No tenían tres platos de la carta, que es lo que se va a probar en New Orleans, ostras y blue crab. Nos ofrecen spetizzer para compartir y llega una mustia de ensalada, no fue capaz de indicar que en opción individual y escasa. En los platos fuertes no te preguntan ni siguiesen acompañantes. El café te lo sirven 10 minutia antes del postre y obviamente cuando vas a tomarlo está helado y tuvieron que cambiar. Realmente decepcionante

Perhaps an off night but a myriad of issues from the kitchen others should consider before booking here. Food was borderline inedible due to copious salt use. Bread and pasta cool by the time it reached our table. Service was pleasant but quite slow. Look elsewhere if you have a salt sensitivity or need to avoid high salt intake for health reasons.

I recently celebrated my birthday at this beautiful restaurant and I was pleased with my choice. The employees greet you upon arrival which is very welcoming. My table was perfect for my party of four and an excellent view of the Mississippi River. My waiter was very attentive and made sure that all of my food items came out perfectly. The food was simply delicious and the cocktails arrived from the bar in a timely fashion. I can’t wait to return to try more items from their menu.
