Chesapeake’s Restaurant - Gatlinburg
So I had the Red Snapper, my daughter ate the Yellow Fin Tuna, and my wife had the haddock.
We ate a dozen oysters on the half shell and our waiter was excellent!
Absolutely wonderful!!!! Cheyenne our waitress helped us with the menu and everything we had was delicious 😋
Super fresh seafood. Amazing service. Best key lime pie ever! Will definitely be back.
We had calamari, ahi tuna and crab cake appetizers and they were more than we could eat. Excellent on all three.
Delicious food and excellent service. First time visiting, but hope to return and try additional dishes.
Had a wonderful experience at Chesapeake’s. Waitress named Cheyanne knew everything about the menu. Best waitress I’ve had.
We went for our anniversary. We had calamari to start. Then I got the swordfish on spinach with a buttery sauce and potatoes. He got a steak with potatoes. Our food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. We had Cheyenne as our waitress and she was absolutely amazing. Extremely respectful and attentive. She was very informative on what to do locally in the area.
Overall experience was absolutely amazing. We will be returning.
I can not believe this restaurant opened 4 weeks ago!!!! The host was very organized and even was able to seat us a little early, our waiter was outstanding and the food was perfect! Better than all steakhouses in Atlanta! We will be back! Open one in Atlanta!!!!
We have been to all of the Chesapeake's locations; this was our first time at the Gatlinburg location. It was great. The location and ambiance were very nice, and the service by our waitress, Cheyenne, was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
Excellent friendly knowledgeable service. And the food was excellent. Did I say the service was great? We loved the oysters, shrimp and scallops. Salad was crisp and fresh. Cant say enough good things. Highly recommend!
My husband and I visited February 21st. He ordered wedge salad and did like it. We collectively ordered the seafood tower. $95. The seafood did taste good, however some of it was still frozen. It also came with 3 dips. Cocktail sauce, a mayo/mustard mix with what looked like paprika sprinkled on top (which was very tasty), and a melted butter which was cold. I don’t even think it was even butter though because even though it was cold it never changed texture how normal butter would. Flavorless as well. It was also in the middle of our meal the waiter asked us if we wanted bread. Yes we did. We even asked for another as it came with 3 small pieces. A big thing that stumped me was when we received our check. No charge for extra bread but they do charge for refills on soda. I have never experienced this in my life. All in all, this is a pricey place to eat. So if a restaurant wants to charge that much for their food, it would be wise to make sure all their details are on point and free refills. You clearly make enough money on the food so why the extra $3 on soda?
We chose Chesapeake’s based on other reviews. We were very pleased with the quality of the service and the food. Both were excellent. The ambiance of the restaurant including a view of the river from our booth, along with the food and service, made for a very pleasant dining experience.
Everything was wonderful for our anniversary dinner.
Our meal was outstanding! This is the best meal we’ve ever had in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. We started with oysters Chesapeake, delicious! My husband and I both had the broiled seafood platter consisting of shrimp, scallops, a crab cake, and cod. The portions were generous and everything tasted so fresh. The scallops were perfection! The atmosphere was not too loud and Adriana took excellent care of us.
Our sever Greg was fantastic. The food was delicious. Highly recommend eating here.
Visited Gatlinburg for Valentines weekend and had a delicious dinner at Cheasapeakes. I had crab cake and husband had oysters for appetizer both were very good. Entrees were also delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. Our water glasses were kept full. Gatlinburg needed a top notch restaurant and this is it!
This is a new restaurant in Gatlinburg just before you get into town. The service is top notch, from the moment you walk in. Soft blue accent lighting and wood trims make this place a relaxing and warm spot to have lunch or dinner. The food is excellent, had the crab stuffed mushrooms and BBQ Bay shrimp. They have great onion rings, lightly breaded and tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive. If you want a great dinner you will love this place. The only down side is parking. There is a parking garage next door but the gate would not go up, I even got out of the car to hold up the gate for the guy in front of us, but it just wouldn't go up. There is another parking lot about two blocks up from the restaurant. So don't let parking deter you.
The only thing I would change which was very minor was the music selection on Valentine’s Day could have been better.
Food was Great. Service was great!! The place was 10/10!!!!
Great place. By far the best food and service in Gatlinburg. The steak was perfectly prepared and seasoned and you could tell the salmon was fresh. Every side dish we tried was amazing- creamed spinach, succotash, acorn squash and. Potato fish. Our waitress was amazing and professional. And even there music wad fun-lots of oldies. I have been disappointed by every other place in Gatlinburg so this is a real gem.
We had oysters, tuna salad, steak, spinach and loaded baked potato. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was fantastic as well.
Wonderful from start to finish. Handmade crafted cocktails, bread that was so fresh and yummy, to an amazing seafood tower.....made it a perfect night out. Will certainly be coming back again when we are back in town. Honestly some of the best oysters we’ve eaten.
The food was the best that we had in Gatlinburg. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The service was spot on, and very courteous. The management checked on us and genuinely cared that we had a good experience. The prices were very fair. Great restaurant and people. The best in Gatlinburg as far as my family is concerned.
Great food and great service. Seated us immediately.
Service professional, courteous, and prompt. Food very high quality, well prepared and reasonably priced. Varied menu. Great experience !
Great birthday dinner for my daughter. Portions are big. Seafood was incredibly fresh, especially being in a mountain town. Service was great.
Food was delicious!
Our waiter was very polite and accommodating but allowed us our privacy. Our food was delicious with a beautiful presentation.
The ambience is exceptional, particularly due to the music being played. Our waiter was exceptional in his effort to make our meal enjoyable. The unfortunate element is that my wife ordered the salmon and it was overcooked and unable to be enjoyed. It was too late to wait for a fresh piece to be cooked, and we had an appointment; so, we couldn't have our pleasant waiter re-do the fish.
Nice place, but since it's produce is food, I have to review it for the food....and in our experience it was underwhelming and even disappointing.
Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Explained the menu and oyster bar very well. Beautiful restaurant with view of the river nearby. Food was excellent, especially the scallops.
Excellent service, delicious meal at a reasonable price. Everyone from the wait staff, manager, and chef went above and beyond to make this a memorable dining experience for our anniversary.
Everything was great from the stuffed mushroom appetizer to the fish specials to the great service. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Gatlinburg.
Chesapeak's wasn't very busy at the time we went around 5pm, so the service was very quick. Overpriced wines as usual in restaurants. Really good seafood. my wife had the sea bass & I had haddock, both cooked very well. Large salad we could have shared. Had a booth table overlooking the river which was really nice. It was our anniversary celebration. Too pricy to take kids there. Great for couples & small groups.
Checked out this new to us place and cannot day enough good things about it. The red snapper with tomato jam was outstanding. Our server Justin was attentive and knowledgeable. One of the best wine lists we’ve come across in our many visits to Gatlinburg. We will definitely be back and will add this to our list of recommendations for fine dining for our cabin guests
This restaurant was absolutely amazing!! We enjoyed everything about it!! We actually ate there 2 nights in a row! We will definitely be back!
This places is seriously the best restaurant in Gatlinburg!! Super fresh and tasty seafood. We had the oysters which were fenomenal and the lobster which was Delicious!! Will definitely make it a point to come back when we’re in town.
The place is great. My order was burnt but the made me another order right away.
Best eats in Gatlinburg, TN. We ended up going twice, the food was that spectacular. Gluten Free items were amazing and so was everything else our party of four ate. If you are looking for an amazing meal you have to go to the Chesapake's Restaurant. Hand's down better than the Peddler's and the Peddler's was a great meal too.
Food was great our service was amazing was a bit pricey but well worth it for the amount of food and drinks we had ordered
