   My wife and I were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary. I had the seafood platter and my wife had the grouper. We also had crab bisque, oysters Chesapeake, and the bread pudding. Topped off with a bottle of wine the evening was very nice. I highly recommend Chesapeakes.

   We celebrated Mother’s Day early. Our waitress was phenomenal!! We had onion rings, gumbo, crab bisque and some oysters to start. Everything was amazing. Our entrees included grilled and fried shrimp and three different fish dishes. All of it was super tasty. Wish I could eat there once a week!!

    This was our fifth dinner at Chesapeake's and like those before it we were more than pleased. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Yes, it certainly is more expensive than Red Lobster but you get what you pay for!

    The food here is always good, the service usually is not and last night was no exception. My wife had muscles and gumbo soup and I had grilled chicken, baked potato, and house salad. The chicken was amazingly good. Both the chicken and the potato was hot as it should have been. The salad was a lot of lettuce but pretty light on the tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. Our waiter was Eric and I think we've had him before, but not certain as it's been quite a while since we've been to Chesapeake's for dinner. If you're serving a cold plate (muscles) and a hot plate (chicken and baked potato) why can't they both come out at the same time? My wife's came out at least 5 minutes prior to mine. Eric brought my wife's muscles but someone else brought my entree. I guess water is in short supply as I only got one glass. Eric said he would come and refill it but he didn't. This is a very nice restaurant but the service leaves so much to be desired I don't think we'll return again. This would be a 3 - 4 times a month restaurant if things were different. On the way over I was talking to my wife about doing brunch there on Sundays. I don't see that happening.

    We had the Seafood Tower, which I liked, but…it comes with oysters, shrimp, lobster tail, crab & muscles. I made a change and requested the oysters be grilled. The grilled oysters arrived first and were delicious- I mean, they were on point. The rest of the tower arrived shortly afterward. When the tower arrived is when we realized we had missed a crucial point- everything was cold. The lobster tail was cold, the shrimp cold, the muscles cold, & the crab - turned out to be crab legs also cold - we ate the shrimp but boxed the rest up and took it home. We warmed it up, and it was delicious Overall we enjoyed the date night and will go back

    Celebrating my wife's Birthday with my son included. The oysters were the least enjoyable as they were quite small and flavorless. I would save your money and use it for other menu items! Calamari was delicious, tender and yummy! My wife loved the lobster tails but found the scallop ok but needed something as they were a bit bland. My son and I both had the Broiled seafood platters. Too thumbs up! Great flavor, excellent value and we enthusiastically recommend this item! She enjoyed the Bread pudding but wanted their chocolate offering. Sold out, Boo Hoo!

    Been here several times but this visit was disappointing. Got there at reservation time. Was told to sit and wait till we were texted that table was ready. The restaurant was half empty. Then we got seated at a table by the wait station. We should’ve asked to be seated at the empty booth beside us but didn’t want to impose. Food was good except for dessert. The $8 strawberry shortcake had 2 measly strawberries, tons of whipped cream and a soggy biscuit for the shortcake. Dinner prices are a bit steep. Our waiter seemed less than happy to be there. Hopefully it was just an off day. Will try back at lunch when prices are more reasonable.

    Seat about twenty minutes after reservation. It was a nice dinner, scallops not so good. Noise level a bit high. Will give downtown Knoxville location a try next time. Would probably not go back to west.

    It was ok It was my husbands birthday we told the waiter but nothing special was offered The music was loud rock which seemed weird for the ambience for dinner The waiter never checked if all was ok but lingered at table while we filled out his tip and bill which is inappropriate He never asked if we wanted more bread which we would have liked. Overall not impressed with the service or noise so I would not opt to return

    First time guest 1. Tea was weak taste like instant tea. 2. Ask for sugar for my tea, brought sugar but no spoon. 3. The spoon they brought after I requested was a tablespoon. With the glass being tapered it was difficult to stir. 4. I ordered Shrimp Chesapeake, total disappointment. Served with four shrimp and about 1/2 teaspoon of crab imperial on each. The crab had little to no taste. 5. As my side I selected Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Grits. I taste nor saw any Cheddar Cheese or Bacon. It was cold on top and warm in the bottom. When I pointed this out to my wait staff person, he showed no concern or offer to correct. 6. I really didn’t feel appreciated as a guest. THIS MAY BE ONE AND DONE.
