Chicago Prime Italian

This was our first time dining at Chicago Prime Italian restaurant. Our experience was great. Our friends were very happy with the food, the services and ambiance.
We are definitely planning to return soon.

Just love Chicago Prime Italian! Huge menu, their chef is amazing! Plus the staff is so friendly and accommodating! A very safe, clean place to enjoy amazing food!

Great food. Baked clams are fabulous. Good soup, beet salad and very good entrees - we had chicken Marsala and a swordfish special. Death by chocolate cake for dessert also very good. Only drawback no herbal tea available

Swordfish was outstanding and rigatoni was delicious. Service was professional and friendly and efficient with suggestions. Ambience was friendly warm and inviting and the music just brought the experience together. Will definitely return.

I have been to Chicago Prime Italian at least 3 times since they have opened back up & I am going again with more friends this week. The servers and the owner have always been very friendly. The food is very good, never a complaint. Ambiance is wonderful. I have tried different things each time I have been there. Good bruschetta. Gnocchi entree was very good - I had enough left over for 3 more meals.
I would highly recommend.

Service was EXCELLENT!!!! Isabella was our server and she was the BOMB. We were celebrating our 18 year Anniversary and Isabella made it special. The food was Fantastic and the Staff was Wonderful. Kudos to an establishment to have great guidelines and service during a hellish pandemic. We will be back!!!!

The service was great (Thank you Chandler) and the 40% off the wine was a great deal. All of our food was great expect for the veal Marsala which was SO Salty that I couldn’t eat it. Not only did it not taste good it would have been a blood pressure nightmare. Please revisit that recipe!

New Year’s Eve family of 4 . Beside the good musicians that we could hear from behind the walls there was nothing really special about this place Beside it’s expense . Food was just ok . Seafood pasta had bacon in it what wasn’t a good combination . Steak well done was very pink and for a $100 one person plate I feel like it should be at least what you ordered.

Our only issue was the noise level between the Normal conversation noise and then there was music which was too loud. Only other issue was we were right outside the two kitchen doors so on a busy night that added to abnormal activity.

The food and service was excellent. Cindy was our waitress. She could not have been nicer. It was nice to be able to sit inside the restaurant. The tables were spaced apart to allow for social distancing. I felt very safe. There was even a live singer in the bar area the night we ate there. I would definitely go back.

We had a great Christmas Eve dinner. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We felt completely safe with the COVID protocols they had in place.

Best work Christmas get together with amazing food and wine! Our waitress was so attentive and also let us take our time, which is important! We love the owner and this establishment!

Music was too loud in the dining area and really didn't suit the ambiance. Food was good, but not enough to make us make a special trip to go back unless we were in the neighborhood.

I took my sister here for her Birthday last night...our 1st time ever dining here; as our trip to Arizona was canceled due to COVID-19. I actually never heard of them before; found them on google among the Top Rated Italian restaurants in Illinois. The ambiance was great & they were set up for social distancing. All the staff were masked & the tables were all 6ft or more apart. The live music a surprise & a great bonus! Our server Cindy was EXCEPTIONAL & was so knowledgeable about the menu & recommend all the right options, including the Strawberry Lemonade (to die for). And the food... OMG... ABSOLUTELY DELECTABLE!!! We have had Italian food all across the United States & I can HONESTLY SAY THAT THIS FOOD TOPPED ANY THAT WE’VE EVER HAD!!! Fresh, hot, & mouth watering. Head Chef Efrain personally came out to our table to check & make sure we were happy with our food. He even made a special birthday dessert tray for my sister which was a perfect surprise! Please note, this is the VERY 1st restaurant that we have been to & dined in since this horrible awful Coronavirus landed here. And it was THEE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
So if you want pasta, steaks, seafood or anything for that matter all for a GREAT price, look NO FURTHER THAN CHICAGO PRIME ITALIAN!!!

One of my favorite restaurants. So glad they are open. Management has done a great job making customers feel safe. Our table was 20 ft or more away from the next table. All staff were masked. Terri makes the best martini’s!

quality of food was poor, we ordered calamari which was super dry. The restaurant ran out of ravioli....wine we selected. The waiter was super nice, we felt bad about complaining to him, so we just went with the flow, but not worth the money

Everyone at this restuarant does a terrific job from greeter to wait staff to the chefs,
to the exquisite food.

Covid precautions were in place and everyone was doing their best.

Service was horrible!! Waited forever for bread then salads! Soup was ice cold. Reservation was at 6:15pm didn’t get out of there till 10pm!! Ridiculous!!! Would NEVER go back!!!

The service last Saturday night was HORRIBLE! The bar tender/server Terry couldn't have been more rude! I ordered meat ravioli with bolognese sauce & said no added parmesan or parsley on top. BTW I'm allergic to parmesan (not good when your throat swells shut). Before she walked away she told me people like me should not go and eat in restaurants. The reason I go out is so I can order what I like my way! Don't think the order was over the top with changes. The ravioli came with marinara sauce. I said nothing about that to her! Just ate what I didn't order! I also ordered a cosmo light pink meaning easy on the cranberry. It came to the table and was orange in color. She put too much orange licqueur in it. I casually mentioned when ordering another one the last one had a little too much orange in it. She threw her arms up and snapped back at me loudly you should be ordering citron vodka straight up! I did not send the first one back I drank it even though I did not like it! Aren't you paying to enjoy what you've ordered to eat and drink? We belong to the Millionaire's Club and are cancelling our card and never to return to Chicago Prime Italian because of Terry's rude and unnecessary attitude!

Awesome experience once again. Matt our server was terrific. Tent was warm food was amazing.
