Rudely told after the bill came that I should have "mentioned the special" at the beginning. No opportunity was given to do so and the bill came without me asking before I had received my last request. How hard is it to correct the bill? Even with the special, it's just so expensive for overcooked meat.

I come here for most special occasions. My entire family and circle of friends love this place. I highly recommend.

This was our first time here, as we have always been die hard Fogo de Chao fans but no longer go there after our disagreement of their decision to not return the $20 million of PPP loan that the company felt they were entitled to. But we missed our Brazilian steakhouse experience so we decided to try Chima.

The restaurant is beautiful and very large on the inside, and we were seated very quickly for our 5:30 reservation. Dinner started out very well with the salad bar and casual conversation between my husband and I and the many waiters checking on us from time to time to make sure we were fine. Very great service and everyone was very attentive to our needs. Anytime we desired a certain cut of meat, it was delivered to our table, and the meat was always in circulation so if one selection was not at your table at one time, there would be one in a few minutes. Sometimes at Fogo, that was a downside you would get...forgotten for lack of better term.

Where the meal went sour, and I mean REALLY sour, was when a party of 10-12 rowdy, loud 20-somethings came in and were disruptive, drinking and being very obnoxious. We could tell that none of the other tables around us were happy as well and it ruined their evenings (another table was complaining as well to the manager), and this really disrupted our night out. We could not even have a conversation amongst ourselves, and I could not even hear the waiter next to me when he was a foot away from me; I think it was louder in there than a 1st grade classroom after snack time. After 15 minutes of this, we said forget it and asked for the check. After all of that, no "I'm sorry, can we offer you a free dessert?" or "we will take off some of the bill for you"...we walked out paying a $150 bill with a bad taste in our mouths of this place.

And the dress code says "business casual"...I saw females in there with dresses shorter than my t-shirts and their boobs hanging out with high heels. I would be fired if I wore that to work.

Server said to bring salmon but had not come back at all. I had to ask again.

We came for Valentine’s Day, it was amazing, great service and food! The only thing I didn’t like was that I made a reservation for 7:45pm and didn’t get sat until 8:15pm. Other than that everything was great!

Everything was great, besides the fact that I arrived at 6:55 for my 7:00 reservation and it took 30 minutes for us to be seated. I even called the restaurant to confirm my reservation at 7:00 the day before, and I still had a long wait. What’s the point of the reservation?

Not bad for it being Valentine’s Day still had to wait to be seated which was about 25 minutes but other than that wasn’t bad thanks for all the hard work you out into making it to the beat of your ability.

This is the second time I have been here for Valentine’s Day. The first time was in 2019 where they were behind an hour and a half on reservations. This year they were behind 30 minutes on their reservations. I’m not new to the world of Brazilian bbq in the DMV and almost weekly dined at either fogo or chima, so this wasn’t remotely near my first rodeo.

We were finally sat and our waiter was quick to greet us and we immediately ordered a drink.

And that’s when the waiting began. We ordered (1) Corona. There shouldn’t be any reason that this would take over (10) minutes to arrive. It’s a bottled beer also, which takes no preparation. His excuse was that drinks were backed up...what he was REALLY trying to tell me was that he either forgot to order it OR didn’t want run his own drinks to his tables.

I don’t want this to get redundant, but the waiting and lack of attentiveness continued throughout the night. We didn’t have a chance to order anything else from him.

At about 30 minutes into eating we were done dealing with the waiter and waived him down because he was going to continue to walking past us. We requested our deserts to go and the check.

At $90 a person on Valentine’s Day, I’ve received better service at a diner.

The waiter could obviously tell that my guest and I were dissatisfied with our dinner and had the audacity to tell me that he included a complimentary card to one free rodizio with our check. THE FREE RODIZIO IS ALREADY INCLUDED WITH THE VALENTINES DAY SPECIAL!!

I will say the picanha was good and the back waiter in charge of sides was competent.

Chima used to be the “go-to” but have fallen far past their standard. Go to Fogo, they haven’t let me down in 10 years of dining there.

I have never been so disappointed with a dining experience (Especially a Special Event) that I felt compelled to write a review.

Such an amazing time. Food was so amazing. I loved It.

It was AMAZING!!!!! 5 stars is an understatement. I would definitely recommend this over and over again!!!!!!! S/O to the waiters Andrew and Victor!!!! See y’all next time

I enjoyed my dining experience on Valentine’s Day. The only think I did not appreciate was the waiter not being clear about the champagne that was included with our meal from the class of wine he offered us that we had to end up paying for.

I liked the place overall. I didn’t like the fact that they came over with different kinds of meat right after we sat down but disappeared after 20 -30 minutes. I like my meat fresh and hot so I didn’t get a bunch. I didn’t want them getting cold on the plate. When I was ready to get more, no one came over and I kept having to tell my server.

We came last year for Valentine's Day, its always a good time. We even got to stay a little longer after hours. We really appreciate the manager, who was also there dining, for the accommodations

What an experience ! Amazing service. The food was excellent. So many different types of meat, lamp and shrimp. The salad and rice buffet was a first. Socially distanced with sanitized hands with gloves foe each guest. The martini’s are dangerous. So good.

Seated by edge of dining area and away from other tables. Came for my birthday on super bowl sunday, and restaurant wasn’t jam packed. We were able to get all the different meats we enjoy, and they asked a few times to make sure we got what we wanted brought to the table. Also for a birthday strawberry cheesecake that was very delicious-may be something I order more often! Always a great experience at Chima.

My husband and I made a reservation for our five year wedding anniversary. It was our first time coming, and from the moment we walked through the door to speak with the hostess the vibe was amazing! Everyone was so friendly, the hostess that walked us to our table informed us of all the meats offered and how the service is provided with the waiters. The food was AMAZING! The salad bar was open, of course you had to wear your mask but they provided gloves (I loved that). Our waiter was very knowledgeable and provided recommendations on their great tasting drinks. I look forward to coming back here, the food, service and ambiance was excellent.
