China City
Great meal, great service. I've eaten here before and will eat here again. Very good.
The best salt and Chilli ribs in London. All the food is well presented and tasty and tables are a good size to allow for all the dishes. We go to this regularly and have recommended to lots of friends.
China City, Russell Square, London - another great meal, with efficient service. What more could you ask for.
China City - great food as ever. Delicious!
A tasty meal with pleasant staff.
Another great meal at China City, Russel Square, London. A restaurant I keep coming back to.
Convenient location, the food was simple and not fussy. The decor was a bit tatty, and the service was mediocre.
A very disappointing meal. The food was pretty average (save for the beef fillet) and the service was poor.
China City in Bloomsbury never fails to disappoint. The dim sum is excellent and the service is always of a high standard. It is ideal for large groups and for business lunches.
Once again, another great meal at the the China City, London.
excellent service
Very accommodating and great dim sum
Went for Dim Sum at China City in Russell Square and was surprised by the excellent quality of the food, if not the decor.
I've eaten here many times and will again.
Not been here for a long while and real enjoyed the food. Good quality.
Another enjoyable meal at CHina City, Bloomsbury. I've been a regular hear for some time.
I felt that the food was not of fantastic quality and the staff were not as friendly as they could be. We had a good time, but wouldn't go back.
China City, London.
This was my first visit to China City and I thought the food was very good. The staff were friendly. It was good value and would definitely recommend it.
China City. London. I've eaten here many times in the past and will return.
Nice as always for a quiet lunch.
We went to China City in Russell Square on a Monday lunchtime. The restaurant was pretty empty, but the service was good and the food well cooked and reasonably priced.
Reasonable quality dim sum and standard prices, if compared to other dim sum restaurants in London China town it sits in the middle of the pack. The restaurant is big and usually very quiet, so I choose to come here when I'm looking for some local quick dim sum (I live in the area) and to avoid the hussle and bustle that is usually associated with the dim sum experience.
The food was not bad at all. Authentic in most aspects but I suppose I am a fan of dimsum and am Chinese myself so I've tasted better around London. More than anything, the restaurant is quite daunting. Very dated, very badly lit, and dont expect much in way of service. Just go for some relatively decent dimsum, In and out quick, and u should be fine.
We chose China City in search of a quiet lunch and were not disapponted - the restaurant was peaceful and the service attentive but unobtrusive - the crispy duck was delighful as were the sweet and sour prawns and the vegetarian spring rolls. We enjoyed the luch very much and will return - we recommend it as good value and a very good experience.

Wow! What fantastic food!!
Superb cosy and intimate dining space decked out in sophicated browns and silver. I started with the honey basted/cooked pork spare ribs which were fabulous. (Tip: They honey is so thick and dry it plays havoc with your nashers! Don't eat if you have dentures!) Special curry was superb as was the lemon chicken. Rice was fluffy and tasty. Great attention to the appearance of the food.
China City - Woburn Place - near Russell Sq tube was very good. very fresh tasting, delicate flavours, good service and very reasonably priced. The only thing to spoil it is that the tables, which are too big, look like they came from my local snooker club. Nothing against such clubs but everything in its place
Good quality food and excellent Service
Stopped here for a quick pre-theatre (Bloomsbury Theatre is nearby) bite to eat. Efficient service, good food. The crispy duck was particularly nice.
China City-Russel Square had friendly efficient staff and comfortable table arrangements. The mixed starters were very nice, however the mains were covered in very sticky artificial sauces (more like take away than restaurant fresh cooked style). Reaonably priced wines.
Went to China City, Russell Square on Saturday as I was going to be in the area. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived at 7.15 but became steadily fuller as the evening wore on. Given its location among a large number of hotels, you might imagine that this restaurant would offer a non-descript tourist experience but it was better than that. The food was tasty and of good quality and, given its WC1 location, even the prices were reasonable. Worth a try.
Went to China City for a family meal while on a trip to london, service was excellent and food was good tasty and reasonably priced. Plenty of choice and also cooked something off menu for my son as he is fussy. Would be worth another trip as a family maybe not best suited for couples looking for gourmet dining.
great meal we had a fantastic time thanks you so much
Very good food. Bit over attentive with the service but still a great meal.
Lovely food and reasonably priced. Good atmosphere and decor. Would go there again.
China City near Russell Sq was ideal for our event. We were 18 boys on a stag do, and we got lots of good food, quickly and at a good price.
It was a nice dining experience. Very good service and decent food.
Although the restaurant was very quiet we had a very nice meal with excellent service. Will definetly visit there again.
Average dim sum. Service was severe and they have a very dubious minimum order of £10 per head at lunch time for dim sum. Not sure I would go again.
China City in Russell Square follows on from the restaurant we know from colindale with great food and great service.
We went for dim sum which met high standards, char siu buns are my favourite and they havent failed here!
Only thing we noticed is how quiet the restaurant was compared to their old colindale restaurant in oriental city, however this didnt effect the quality of service or food!
China Kitchen
Pleasant enough set up - undertandably quiet for 12:30 on a Tuesday afternoon but then service was a bit OTT. food came reasonably quickly and as we had ordered lots of Dim Sum - it came out in a good time and was fairly tasty. Presentation left alot to be desired but for £55 for more than enough for 3 hungry businessmen I couldn't really complain
