Christopher's Restaurant at The Heldrich
I enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere while dining. The avocado toast was filled with flavor, and the concierge was very attentive to all requests.
The bar restaurant was empty but still had very slow service. The food was fair.
Mother's day brunch was nice but not worth the price paid. Not very crowded and yet the service was slow. Advertised "bottomless" mimosas for mothers but they only offered 1 complimentary mimosa. I had made online reservations but I was not on the reservation list.
Overall, not too happy.
If going to the State Theater, you can't beat the location. We gave ourselves plenty of time and enjoyed the evening. Dining was a pleasure, they were busy, as would be expected. Wait staff was friendly and as attentive as they could be with what they handled. Getting the check was a bit long but that did not make for a bad evening. Also, we did let them know that we had tickets to the theater when we sat down but that was one person and there was a rotation of three people working with your table.
All in all, I did give then a very good to excellent review. My Salmon was amazing, their Nacho platter was very good and the dessert, amazing. The berry tart pastry crust was perfect and my guest Cheese Cake a delight. Great time.
This was for Easter brunch so not sure how the restaurant is otherwise although its a nice place and it looks like it could potentially be good. The brunch though was a bit ordinary. A nice selection but expected a better quality and more premium foods for the cost. The wait staff could have been more attentive but they were very nice. Overall, an ok brunch and an enjoyable time.
Family get together
Loved this experience!! The martinis were delicious, we tried two different ones and enjoyed the salmon and the quinoa bowl immensely!!! We will be back for sure!!
Not a go to... stuck in the bar area. Limited menu , too few servers, and food was lukewarm and tasted marginal. Definitely skip the Caesar salad. Burger was just ok.
We chose Christopher's Restaurant at The Heldrich because my son was part of The Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus staying at the hotel Monday & Tuesday, leaving on Wednesday. They were performing at the State Theater Monday evening at 7PM. I made our reservation for 4:15PM on Monday, as my son needed to report to the State Theater by 5:40PM. His/our food took over an hour to come so we had to immediately ask for a container for him to take it across the street with him and eat it after his sound check at the theater! Otherwise, everything was good...food was tasty, bartender was pleasant and helpful, etc.
It was very nice and extremely convenient to the theatre and parking. Service was excellent. The food was very good.
Great good and service
I was in town for work and had a business dinner here at the suggestion of a colleague. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly, and our food came out quick. Atmosphere was nice and their cocktails were really good. If I'm in the area again, I'd stop back in for dinner and drinks.
We ate in the bar area and it was nice for an early pretheater meal .
The restaurant was unavailable because of a New Year’s Eve event!
I would like very much to experience the restaurant. The bar menu
Was very limited!
Mediocre food, poor service in a nice setting.
The service was very slow; the soup was luke warm; the salad dressing was too tart; the main course was too salty; it too a long time to get the attention of the server and we had to wait a long time to pay the check. Overall the food was poor quality the service not professional. Other customers were complaining as well. Overpriced for what was provided.
The dining room is usually not open, so dinner is served in the bar. The service was horrible.
We reserved an early seating before a show and got confirmation. When we showed up the restaurant was hosting a reunion. In the restaurant we were told to check with the bar. We looked in the bar area and nobody was there to ask and it was far from what was expected. We called the number and only got a recording to leave my name and number for a call back. When I chose the prompt to speak with someone nobody picked up. We left in the rain and went somewhere else.
