Chuck's Fish - Athens

Visited Athens to visit the campus. Friends recommended Chucks’s and we were not disappointed. It was loud and energetic so for a fun night out it is perfect.

Chucks never disappoints, we always love the food and drinks we get and the service is great.

I never go to Athens without a trip to Chucks. I highly recommend the grilled oysters. The sushi is top notch as well. I now have been on 4 different occasions, and I have had fantastic service and great food each time. The food is high quality, and the prices are most reasonable. I will be back for sure.

Other than the fresh and well prepared seafood, this place is average. If you’re willing to overpay for that then you’ll be satisfied. We were recently sat 30 minutes after our reservation - usually not a big deal but not thrilling when it happens when celebrating something special like an engagement.

Wonderful service and food! We felt very safe with the table spacing and precautions the restaurant has taken. Sushi and cocktails are the BEST in Athens. It’s a wonderful date night spot.

It was good, but not as good as we hoped. First time at Chucks on New Years Eve. I had the pasta, which was flavorful, but served in a small bowl. I went away comfortable, not stuffed. $32 for that bowl of pasta was pricey for what I actually received. My wife had grouper at $40. It was good, but somewhat bland. Great service and good atmosphere. Food and value was the weak link. As for the atmosphere, it has a great vibe. I certainly felt like the cool, hip folks from Athens eat here.

We always always love Chuck’s! The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. It is a little pricey but worth it! We love that it’s open on Mondays and takes reservations!! Will always recommend!!

Best Steak I have had in a while! You could cut it with a fork! Everything was delicious! And the portions are great! Worth every dollar!!

We love Chuck's Fish! Our most recent visit was for a date night and we had a perfect meal and a great time. We started out at the ball and had a really nice chat with the bartender there and then we moved to our table (we had arrived early). Always delicious!

Second visit to Chucks and it did not disappoint! Food and drinks were so good and our server, Tyler, was fantastic. We love Chuck’s and can’t wait for our next visit!

The only criticism is that the spring rolls were empty. Hardly any filling, still tasty but needed something to fill them!

We had a great time! Delicious food, great wine, and even a delicious pecan and caramel blonde for dessert. We were so full. And the staff were all masked and careful with covid protocols in place. We will be back.

The food was delicious! We just got back from Hilton Head and Chuck’s seafood was just as good as what we got there. Our waiter Tyler S. was very personable. He had a great sense of humor, made us feel welcome and he also wore a cool apron! We would definitely recommend Chuck’s Fish to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Athens.

It wasn’t the fun place it appears online. The food and drink was wonderful, but the music was depressing and low, and the service was not good. Our server seemed incredibly snooty while delivering low quality service. She was hard to find at times as well we needed her. We were there to celebrate a birthday!!

I thought everything was just great, with the exception of the pricing.

Food was just OK, not bad but not delicious. Waitress not very familiar with the menu.

This was the fourth time we have eaten at Chucks. While it was still very good the food was over salted this time. I'll be back but I will warn the waiter/waitress this time to tell the chef to go easy on the salt.
