   I'll start by saying my wife enjoyed the House Manhattan. Its an unusual recipe. I did not. Seemed gimmicky and spicy/prickly. They replaced it with a standard-- better but still unusual. Another in our group found her cocktail a bit odd also. My wife very much enjoyed her steelhead trout. My Lamb shank ( a generous portion) was flavored with curry -as described on the menu. It was not to my liking and not as fall-off-the bone tender as one would hope. The rice and gravy sides were quite good. Operationally it was a challenging night for the staff--it was relatively crowded but not packed. We waited for our food then 3 of 4 meals arrived and they were all 'cool'. They were replaced and all four arrived together eventually--and hot. AC was blowing on us (by now you've guessed we're "old".) Mgr adjusted it. (it was an evening of falling temp --tough to regulate AC.) Mgr (and all) were very pleasant and attentive. As reparations we received two free deserts for the table of four. Much appreciated. The menu is rather limited and like everywhere right now prices seem a bit high. With lots of glass, concrete hard table tops etc. the noise is --yes "energetic ". But I think that's the desired vibe. Personally I think the atmosphere might feel better later at night --it was rather bright outside with a large glass wall-- on a wintery evening. I think many could have dined here, had almost the exact same dishes and drinks, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Their review might have been resoundingly positive. It just didn't work for me on this occasion. I should say our group of four had a good time.

   Food is always delicious, cheesy polenta was very impressive. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet and I’ve been 5+ times. Bottle shop is great and conveniently located, I love the candles they make out of the liquor bottles. Smell great and last a long time.

   Food there for the money isn’t great. Service last night was terrible. We had a 6:15 reservation and was seated promptly. Quick initial service but then extremely slow as we finally got out of the by 8:45. We think they had only two servers but the place wasn’t that busy either. We saw a table next to us just get up and leave after waiting for their server and they had eaten.

    GOT AN ITALIAN BEEF SANDWICH WHICH WAS NOTHING LIKE THE REAL THING. MY GIRL GOT MUSHROOM RISOTTO DISH THAT SHE LIKED. BARTENDER WAS VERY INEXPERIENCED. DID NOT KNOW THAT OLD FASHION NEEDED SOME GARNISH. OUR DRINKS WERE VERY SMALL PORTIONS. ONE AND DONE FOR US.

    Our meal took over an hour to be served. It was tepid when it arrived, so disappointing! We were, however, comped our meal. Looks like a fabulous space, hope our next experience is better!

    Felt a little uncomfortable when waiter made a point after several times trying to take our dinner order while we were having drinks and appetizer that there was limited time for us to be at the table since they were going to be very crowded later. We had 6:15 reservation and it was now only 6:45. Parking is atrocious and it took about 10-15 mins to finally find something. The quality of the food was very good however way over seasoned with salt and we had 4 different entrees with the same issue. Would maybe try again.

    Will definitely go back again! What we loved: Ambiance -- the architecture and overall vibe create an engaging spot to gather with friends. Also loved: The food! Most of what we ordered we'd order again. Definitely try the trout dip and deviled eggs!!! Where they could improve: Server didn't seem to know her stuff, wasn't friendly (also wasn't rude, but was very flat affect and not very attentive), and ignored us several times (took a while to order our entrees and second round of drinks as a result). Their stated trout special was in fact salmon. :( The craft cocktails we ordered were overly complicated and had flavors that are meant to be unique/sophisticated but came across as muddled and even off-putting. We did like the fig/bourbon drink and the rosewater/gin drink. Their Old Fashioned was extremely sweet with honey, and the Manhattan was downright un-drinkable (cough syrup-y). Very good wine list saved the day -- lots to like there! Looks like a good beer list, too, and I'd definitely bring friends here for happy hour. Seems ideal for that as there's something for everyone, even some no-alcohol cocktails that actually have flavor.

    Ordering drinks and being given fountain made cocktails, sold as handmade is odd and deceptive. Even when asked if they were, she made up a story of using the last of the bottle to make my drink. Unfortunate.

They are still made in house with all our own ingredients, recipes, and homemade syrups. The idea behind having draft cocktails is to not only add an aspect of novelty to service, but also allowing us to service a large number of guests in a timely fashion.     Recommend the Glazed Lamb Shank and the Cheesy Polenta. Food was a bit slow on coming but the server kept us posted on timing and why (a couple of large groups seating at the same time).

    Dinner was perfect for our date night. The space is beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly, and the knowledge to help guide us on beverages and options was outstanding. Izzy was phenomenal the entire duration of our dining experience. We will be back, can't wait to see the rooftop bar. The strawberry cheesecake was 🤤 the most delicious thing I've put in my mouth. The charcuterie board, was my dinner choice, and the horseradish jam was to die for! 10/10

    I brought two out-of-town guests for lunch here last week-end. We were greeted warmly and seated by Dave; our server was Angel, who was delightful and attentive, but never intrusive. Our food was delicious, and my guests declared both the grilled cheese and beef sandwiches the best they had ever tasted. My salad was lovely, and the side of cheesy polenta was so good I might order it every time I come--even if it's to take home. We were also very happy with Victoria's assistance in the retail shop; she was helpful and knowledgeable about the products there. The restaurant itself is very appealing, and obviously a lot of care and thought have gone into its development, including the upstairs art gallery and artifact museum. All in all, I can recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly, and look forward to my next visit.

    Becky was our server — outstanding! We started with a cheese and meat board that came with Christine’s, pickles and a horseradish jam — so good. Cocktails were great, I had the old fashioned. We shared the trout dip with rye toast, so delicious! I had to stop eating it so I’d have room for dinner. I got the pork schnitzel and it was divine. Others had the blue cheese crusted filet and the chicken, both looked great. For dessert we had their play on a butterfinger and the crème brûlée. Everything was great and we’ll definitely go back!

    4 of us (2nd visit for 2, 1st for others) dined on a Friday at 5:30. All give Cinci Distilling a thumbs up. We arrived early as parking was easier than expected, so we dropped by the rooftop bar and the art gallery before heading to restaurant. We ordered NY Strips (one medium, one well), halibut and a burger; all preps were dead on and everyone really enjoyed their entrees. (Burger & fries was only repeat order - excellent both times.) We had a couple craft beers (no bourbon drinkers in the group) and a cider; again all very good. Our server, Brad, was excellent - attentive but not overly and good menu recos. As some reviews note, parking can be tricky during prime hours so head to Milford early, grab a spot and enjoy the nearby venues.

    Had an early light dinner. The cheeseburger and fries were amazing. Perfect bun, the right amount of beef, and the sauce was incredibly tasty. I only wanted to eat half of the french fries but couldn't stop.

    Everything was fantastic! Our table all had the cocktail shrimp, charcuterie, elote potatoes, lamb shank, schnitzel. Fried chicken, Italian sandwich, wedge salad…. Zero complaints! The rooftop bar for an after dinner cocktail was lovely as well.

    Cincinnati Distillery has a great menu and the atmosphere is contemporary with good service to go with. We did a rum tasting which was fun and also visited the rooftop bar which is a more casual atmosphere. Overall a great experience!

    My husband and I wanted to sit at the bar for dinner but they only offered a bar menu now and we wanted to order off the dinner menu. We had to sit at table in the dining room where I faced a wall and everyone going to and from the restroom. We have dined there before and the risotto was excellent on our 1st visit. This time it had zero flavor and was the consistency of oatmeal. Never once did a manager or server check on our meal. I would have let them know then. My husband did like his chicken dish. The bar being a limited menu is very disappointing.

    It was our first time going. Brad was our waiter and although it was very busy ( Friday night ), he was very attentive and friendly and provided the best service that we’ve had in a long time. We had reservations for 6:45 but we’re running a little late and the hostess held our table for us. I highly recommend and will return again. We have been trying different restaurants in the Cincinnati area and this was by far the best one we’ve tried so far. Food was also stellar. We both had the Blue Cheese Filet and it was excellent.
