Fabulous barchetta and very good lasagne. BYO Monday made for a great value dining experience, and the staff are lovely.

It is what it is. A moderately priced, Italian type restaurant. Staff were pleasant, food was mediocre, wine was good. A previous review indicated that it had been founded by Italians but they had sold up, it probably should not try to do so much - stick to pizza?

We started with a sharing platter of warm olives, toasted bread, olive oil & balsamic vinegar, mild salami and Brie. Absolutely delicious and a generous portion for two to share. We both had the Italian sausage linguine which again was a generous serving and very tasty. Both entree and main very well presented. Finished with a panna cotta and a cannoli which were both delicious. The limoncello spritz is also highly recommended.

The pizzas were good. Unfortunately we ordered 2 out of 3 to come with GF base, but, the young waitress made a mistake and we only got one. We received garlic pizza instead of the chips we ordered and the staff were lovely and gave the garlic bread for free and still made us the chips. The staff were lovely although the young waitress could probably do with a little more training.

Food order was not correct and waitress apologised but did not fix.. nice cosy little place and service was friendly

The service is particularly poor. It’s absolutely damaging to have a restaurant with the servers you have. 100 attitude issues (look bored, don’t check to see if you need more drinks, yawning and standing in the kitchen or at the counter rather than checking on the guests. Even the basics eg wiping tables or helping when a glass is spilt. It’s not rocket science. The pizzas are good, lasagna was fine, pastas are basic at best and not worth ordering.
