Cioffis Restaurant & Pizzeria
Our waitress was very sweet & attentive. We ordered antipasti for one since she said enough to share & it was. It was pretty basic, just cold cuts, only 2 slices of provolone tho & no dressing, could’ve been better. My date ordered lasagne, good sized serving & very good except he asked if meatless & was told yes but it wasn’t. I had Veal Marsala w/mushrooms which was delicious & veal was tender, which isn’t usually the case at most restaurants, even some of the more expensive ones.
Food was very reasonable & large portions. Not in my area but would probably go back again.
A great choice in Union for Italian food. Everything is homemade and authentic - no wonder they’ve been around since 1963!
Great service amazing calamari ! Had a great mother daughter date night ! Great service will dine here again !

I have been there for lunch. This was the first time my wife and I went to dinner. Good food and good service. Thank you !
A fun family restaurant that serves Union pleasantly and professionally. The staff is warm and friendly. The food is excellently prepared and just the right serving size
Good food and family restaurant feel
We met our former neighbors for lunch one day & enjoyed the restaurant & meal so much that we brought my brother & sister-in-law for dinner the next evening. Food was delicious and everyone that came in contact with us was so friendly & knowledgeable. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, outstanding service, would go back absolutely.
Very good food, great service, a nice neighborhood old- fashioned Italian family restaurant. I came on a weekday evening and was willing to drive the hour it took me to get there.
Our go to restaurant. Can never go wrong with Cioffi’s
Wow! I picked Cioffi’s based on OpenTable reviews and I NOT disappointed. The restaurant seems a bit old-fashioned and humble and I feared I might get the usual run-of-the-mill cafeteria style Italian food. Al contrario! The garlic knots were delectable: just enough garlic and pulled apart like challah or pretzel bread. I tend to skip the bread because it’s not worth the empty carbs but it was superb, not airy and dried out or insubstantial but weighty, not doughy. I never eat calamari unless it is fried but the waiter recommended seafood Fra Diavolo (how did he know?!). The calamari was perfectly prepared, tender and not rubbery. He also recommended to skip the pasta but I ordered it since I thought I would get a small portion of seafood: wrong again! My food was hot, flavorful and plentiful; without eating the pasta or the broccoli I could only finish half my entree. The broccoli was basic and uninspired, not the star of the meal, but it was fresh and green. My friend had the veal Marsala with plenty of thinly sliced veal and gravy with mushrooms. The service was genuine and warm, and even though we stayed long after our bill was paid and the table was cleared, the staff was not rushing us. The waiter continued to offer extra water, coffee, anything else. Altogether a charming restaurant with delicious food. Thumbs up.
We've been going to Cioffi's for years, the food and pizza is always great.
Visiting from Michigan, great slice of Jersey Italian culture and cuisine.owner/Staff very inviting.
Love Coiffis!! I used to work there many years ago, great people to work with and for, nice family and great atmosphere ! Awesome food and service. We live in North Carolina, but when we visit NJ, need to go to Coiffis for a meal.
