Went on New Year’s Eve for socially distant dining and everything was outstanding. William was our server and he was friendly, helpful and fantastic in every way. Having been in the industry myself for many years I really appreciated his timing and approach. The food also exceeded our expectations, especially for the price offered for the evening.

All of our meals were fantastic!! Our server was fantastic. The only drawback is the restaurant feels like it is in the middle of the lobby. Even still I would recommend CIRC.

As always, a great dining experience. Prices seem a bit higher that they need to be, especially glasses / carafes' of wine. Service and atmosphere were great!

Nice atmosphere. Not worth what we paid. Ordered a steak medium and came rare. Cut was a little tough also. Overall flavor of the food was good. Chairs in the restaurant were ratty on the edges with the fabric coming off. Tables are far too close together. Tough to have a quiet conversation. Of all the places in Madison to eat, I would pick another.

We ordered a 8 oz. sirloin steak medium rare and a 10 oz. flat iron steak medium; unfortunately, they brought us two 8 oz. sirloin steaks that were more rare than medium rare. Due to the slow service, it wasn’t worth our while to send back the steak so they could correct it.

The food was fantastic! It was a very lovely, peaceful night out.

Nice, quiet place; not a lot on atmosphere, but excellent food choices and very friendly service. We would go here again.

Our waitress Goldie was great! Food was amazing, will definitely be back!

I think this is just a great spot to dine before attending a performance at Overture. Come early, get parked, have a leisurely meal and walk down to your performance.

The seasonal menu is great. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with great service in a relaxing atmosphere.

3 out of the 4 in our party had really good food. The 4th person said his hamburger was both too thick and burnt on outside. Our waitress was attentive and helpful but we waited for 30-40 minutes after ordering to get our food. We were heading to Hamilton at the Overature that night. By the time we got our food, we had about 15 minutes to eat before needing to head out the door. That was disappointing. Scallops and pork were excellent tho and I appreciated the substitute for potatoes.

We were really disappointed in our experience here. Most of the food was not well prepared nor did it taste very good, one meal was completely inedible and had to be sent back. We told the host we were not happy and he left to supposedly tell someone but when our server came to check on us she was completely unaware so I don’t know who he told. A manager never came out. It’s pretty much a hotel lobby restaurant which I wouldn’t have minded had the food been better. On the positive side our server was very friendly and they accommodated allergies for our daughter off of the children’s menu which I appreciated, but I wouldn’t go back based on this experience.

We went to CIRC for Thanksgiving dinner and it was fabulous. Everyone of the staff was truly wonderful. The food was outstanding. CIRC will be our Family Thanksgiving tradition going forward.

We ate there for Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was delicious but the duck and the salmon were especially good. The gluten-free chocolate cake was to die for.

Very favorable experience. Great service and high quality.

I would give our lunch at CIRC 5 stars but knocked off one star because of two issues. We were seated at a table that was very wobbly, despite having made a reservation and many other tables being available. Secondly, as soon as we got coats off and sat down, a waiter came to take our food order. When I said we had just sat down, he said, "Oh, you've been talking" and walked away, implying it was OUR doing we were not "ready" to order! I have never had a server invalidate me this way!

We then reported the wobbly table, which didn't seem like a quick fix, so we asked for a different table, which we got promptly. After asking for someone to take our order by then, the rest of the meal went well.

Very nice atmosphere for dinner. We went before an overature show. The scallops were amazing! Nice service - not rushed at all!

Quiet, good to relax with easy conversation. Salmon farmed and average quality. Chucked also same. Nothing wrong with either, just lacked some moisture and spicy ness. Apple- beet soup exotic interesting and a bit bitter for one of us. Bunt cake fabulous.

The lunch buffet is always delicious. Service is usually pretty slow, however, it seems that they don't usually have many servers working during the lunch during the weekdays. We come into town for a conference, and always eat here due to convenience, cost and the good variety on the buffet.

Beautiful, quiet restaurant. Varied menu and made a special accommodation for someone in my party. Prices can be a little high for some dishes but food is very good. Waiter was adequate but not super attentive.

The atmosphere was too "hotel breakfast buffet" feeling. Needed dimmer lighting, more of a cozy vibe for dinner. The food was good it just seemed a bit out of place in the setting. It didn't jive.

The food and service was great! The only thing I would mention is that the lighting is a little cold. We sat for dinner in the long booth with 2-top tables. The lighting was very bright. It would be nice to have softer bulbs and maybe some pendants over the tables. I know this is picky, but I noticed it when I got there right away. It would seem so much more separate from the hotel that way. Scallops were great!

Yes it is in a hotel, but don't let that put you of it you are interested in food more than the location.

I can not recommend this restaurant. There are so many other choices around the area and Circ was not worth the money.

Disappointed in Sunday Brunch Buffet....had fewer brunch items than expected. Have had almost as many choices at a free Holiday Inn Express breakfast as was offered at CIRC.

Love CIRC lunch buffet so was expecting much more than what was offered for Sunday brunch.

What a great place to have dinner before going to Overture Center - or other activities. Food is always very good, service as well.

We have always been very satisfied when we dine at Circ.

We had a reservation at 7:15. Table was not ready and we were informed they had been very busy. Waited about 10 minutes and we were seated.

Waiter didn’t take our drink order for about 10 minutes after we sat down...the manager had come to check on us.

Food took quite a while but was worth the wait. Scallops were AMAZING. Waiter dropped my daughters fries so we had to wait again to get the entire order.

The staff was friendly but seemed busy and overwhelmed. The food was all delicious and the portions were large.

Prices were very reasonable and we will definitely go again.

Hope to catch staff on a better day.

Total disappointment.
No atmosphere at all. Felt like a dining hall at a dorm. Looked like a hotel chain breakfast area.
Very few diners but service was extremely slow, waiters disappeared for 20 min at a time. 50 min till food on table.
Food prep slow but meal was decent. One dish not acceptable but wait staff not interested in hearing.
Bill was shocker. We left wishing we had gone anywhere else.

I am disappointed in Open Table for promoting this business.

My food was outstanding...flavorful and plenty of it. Prices aren’t cheap but hey, YOLO.
