Claim Jumper - Rancho Cucamonga
Food was delicious, quick service.
Outdoor dining. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Good food.
Where do I start? We were seated at a table properly social distanced so we were off to a good start. When i sat down i smelled beer and then noticed my arm was wet, then realized the table cloth had not been changed and it was soaked with beer. I had to ask for the linens to be changed and had to go to the restroom to wash my hands and forearms. Upon return the linen had been removed to discover we were sitting at a folding card table with many stains and cracks. When they replaced the linen it was clean so it made it OK.
The drinks were horrible, the food was horrible, my steak was way over cooked and my baked potato was microwaved. They brought me a new steak but by the time I got it the person I was with was already done with his meal. Service was horrible, food was horrible, drinks were even bad. The portion sizes were also very very small, not the Claim Jumper I remember!
I get that we are in a COVID world and times are tough but the food should still be quality. Needless to say we will never go back..i would stay away unless you’re just gonna have salad.
Under the current COVID-19 circumstances, the service was excellent. The employees and patrons practiced social distancing and masks. It was comforting. The food was great. We made reservations in advance. No more than a five minute wait. Our food came to us in a timely manner. We had an enjoyable "date" night. Thank you
Claim Jumper has a nice set up for outdoor dining during this pandemic. I felt very comfortable and of course the food was great.
The food was subpar, the service was terrible. The waitress in training was nice but the senior waitress has dismissive and impatient. We will never ever eat there again!
It is a great outside location. Too bad the inside was closed to Covid.
We made reservations on line for 4:30 pm and arrived at 4:15 checked in at around 4:50 I approached the desk and told her that we were well past our seating time and it appeared we had been overlooked along with another gentleman who decided to leave because he never got called to be seated. When we arrived there was only two of us waiting. Host needs some training?
The food and service was outstanding!!!! Eating in the parking lot does not do much for ambience and noise control.
Nice lunch during these uncertain times! The restaurant followed social distancing regulations.
Bad service, Food was great .
There were 3 of us, we ordered Salmon with roasted veggies and baked potato, Roasted Tri Tip with roasted veggies and baked potato, and the Chicken Sandwich with mac n cheese. The salmon was so dried out it was barely edible, the tri tip was extremely rare, cold and very grissely, the mac n cheese was only pasta, no cheese. For as much as we paid, I would expect better quality food. I'm not sure if we'll be back, our drinks were also very weak, well, the mojito and one of the maitai's, one of the maitai's was fine. I am not a drinker, and I didn't taste any alcohol in my maitai.
I'm just very disappointed, and the service was not very good, but they were busy, so some grace is given on that. We were there for about 2 hours just for a simple dinner.
They sat us in the only table that was slanting into the parking lot so the chairs and the table were uneven. There were 3-4 tables on the patio that stayed empty the entire time we were there. The waitress was super short and came off rude. If we asked any questions she would respond very dryly. She checked in only once and kept rushing us to decide. She brought the check before we could order dessert. She was rushing off to take a break with one of her coworkers and he personality was much more cheerful which was surprising cause she seemed annoyed by our presence. They weren’t even close to closing time.
Our waitress just wasn't that great. They need a printed or download of alcohol menu.
Food and drinks were delicious and at a great value...service was on point
Items on menu but they weren’t serving them. Poorly cooked items and just overall poor experience
Very good service and great staff
Great food and service
Considering the Corona Virus situation, this was a welcomed surprise. Not too noisy , food always good, and ambiance was surprisingly very nice. Staff was great.
It was my mom’s birthday. We enjoyed our family time together. Very good experience with this restaurant
Made the reservation and was seated within 5 min of arriving. They had music playing out side which was nice. Was attended quickly, server was courteous.
We had a group of six people and ate outside. Service was a little bit slow and slightly inconsistent… But considering the times we are in now with COVID-19 and all of the workarounds, it was definitely a pleasant experience and we enjoyed our food and the servers.
Everything was good except for the Chicken Pot Pie. The crust was hot, but the internal temperature was not even warm. The waiter took it back for reheating and it came back with the internal ingredients only warm. I received an apology and was offered a dessert.
I always get the chicken pot pie and will eat there again.
Good experience for outside Covid seating
Service was great, it's outside seating during this covid time but CJ did good in accommodating seats in the shade with a good amount of distance between other diners and we got lucky that a nice breeze was blowing, the food in the other hand was very mediocre the hubby ordered the cali tri tip sandwich the bread was pretty crunchy maybe a bun would of been a better choice of bread, I ordered the plant based impossible burger which sounded amazing on the menu but unfortunately my garlic aioli was missing which made the burger a bit dry, we both agreed that on this visit our food was missing flavor, cook might just be having an off day but all good we still very much enjoyed our time so we'd definitely go back
With the pandemic, they have the tables out in front and around the restaurant. Service was a bit slow, but that can be expected when you double and triple the area they have to cover. All in all, all things considered really good, under the circumstances.
20 year anniversary dinner. Nobody acknowledged our anniversary. Service was incredibly slow. Took 2 hours to get our meal, and they were not busy with only a couple tables. We had to sit outside on the side nearest a Walmart in direct sunlight. Ants crawling under the table. Tree leaves falling on our table. Waiter brought my wife chicken fried chicken when she ordered chicken fried steak. It was missing the vegetables. I told him he could just take it back and we would just eat my steak, which was overdone and missing the onion ring that was supposed to be on top and the loaded baked potato which was burned. Good thing I like to eat the fat because we were not waiting another hour and a half! No apologies for the wait. No offers to comp anything. No anniversary wishes. The waiter did act like we were putting him out when my wife asked him for a second drink and said "you're gonna have to give me a little while for that". So I skipped my second drink and just drank my water and we skipped dessert and went somewhere else. I had to go inside to give him cash for our bill and I got the heck out of there. I would not eat at that place again if it was free!!! Not the worst dining experience I've had, but probably top 3 and on my 20 year anniversary!!! Major disappointment!!!
I dont know about the covid situation but the service was good. The waiter was nice, food was good. The ambiance wasnt ideal because it was outside. You can see all the lent of the napkins and the utensils looked dirty. Natural light vs inside light. I wouldn't do it again until to until COVId is complete.
Waiter sucked and food was terrible
For it to be outdoors it look ugly the furniture was oldo the tables were a little dirty and the service was very slow we had to ask for condiments we had to ask for everything but I guess that’s how it is now but still it was one waiter doing everything then someone came to help him. We would come back though because it was not crowded at all
They were trying their best! Tables have to be outside because of Covid. But it wasn’t great. Ants crawling on the table and the food wasn’t up to the normal standard. Hopefully things will go back to normal someday!
Waited over an hour for cold food, service was horrible and it wasn't even busy. First time trying claim jumpers and will never return.
Very tasty lemonade, cool shade free and friendly service.
Everything about the dining outside experience was fantastic in this Covid-19 environment
Too many flies and we (5) got bitten like 5 times by ants. Half of our party was sitting in the sun and the others in the shade.
Wasn’t the most welcoming place me and my girlfriend have ever been to.
This was a disappointing experience - we had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. Staff members were wearing masks, but some wore them incorrectly (Masks are useless if they don't also cover the nose).
Our server wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly or attentive either. Our kids loved the Alfredo pasta but overall the food wasn't great, just good. Definitely not worth the $86 (we didn't order any alcoholic drinks or appetizers). It's unlikely we'll decide to visit again.
With the Open Table app, making a reservation was simple. Claim Jumper had my table ready within a minute of checking in. I was extremely pleased with my dining experience.
The waiters are really nice and take your order right away. The food is ready within minutes and brought to your table.
