Nope. Not a repeat spot
One of our drinks was brought wrong, had to go up to the bar ourselves to get correct one. Ordered lobster Mac n cheese, had crumbs of lobster in it, no chunks. Ordered fish and chips, breading was soggy and not cooked. We didn’t get checked on once and had to ask for our check.
Specified on open table it was a birthday and asked for something to celebrate (piece of cake). Wanted to surprise person so tried to set it up ahead of time. Didn’t happen. No mention. Also no silverware provided. Had to take from another table. Overall not a great experience. I will never use open table again, didn’t seem to be a whole lot of communication with the restaurant short of holding a table. Why have a special request section if you don’t follow through?
Prime ribeye was good.
Everything was perfect
Great food and experience.
Overall, everything was good. Servers were friendly and fast, food was delicious. Only complaint was that the asparagus was still very crunchy and the ends were woody. The spicy cowboy bacon is so good! Also ordered the calamari, which was nice and tender. Tons of great options. I’ve eaten here before a couple times previously, and everything I’ve ordered has been good.
Don’t recommend this place for birthdays! Better places to go.
Had reservations, waited 20 mins... turns out girl didn't mark us down as being there. Soda served with no ice. FULL size Calamari had 8 pcs. Steak was raw. Server no where to be found.
Service decent but slow. Food marginal, like many restaurants in this covid era. Learn to cook yourself and you will save time and money. You probably will be safer too. We had the zucchini and calamari apps ( average), tri tip, meatloaf, top sirloin and grilled shrimp.
First, we had to wait more than 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation (there were only 2 of us) my husband finally went up to ask and it turns out they had skipped over us. Next, my husband ordered a glass of wine which didn't come until we were well over half way through our dinner. On a positive note, our food came out quickly and was good, our waiter was friendly but overworked with taking care of a table of 17 high school age kids. We know in this environment we need patience but the two negatives were just a lack of paying attention.
Great food at a reasonable price. Excellent service. Seated right on time.
It’s very pricey and the food is okay but not worth the price. Our server forgot to put in our appetizer order so after they delivered the entrees we simply said don’t bother putting it in. With steak orders you have to order sides ala carte. Prime ribeye steak was $50. Just the steak! I had broiled shrimp with had very little flavor and had to ask for drawn butter to make it taste better. My husband had a bowl of clam chowder he liked.
Service was fast and friendly. Apps were cooked well and came out fast. The main course was very disappointing. My Tri tip was ordered med and came out raw and cold. The waiter took it back and had it refired. It was overcooked when it came out again. Also the portions were puny. My wife had a blackened chicken pasta and it tasted like it was cooked in a microwave, It had a very bad smell and the taste was absolutely awful, I would compare it to melted plastic. However, the desert was probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten out, it was the butter pecan cake.
Very nice server
We went to celebrate mu husband birthday, got there before our reservation and we where able to be sit down earlier. The food have change, not very good, way different than before. Wont see ourselves going again. Very expensive for the quality and taste of the food. Service was good, server was nice.
We got the Chicken Pot Pie and the Lobster BLT with Onion Rings. Both were superb, but it was way too much food. The servings are very large. I would not get the onion rings with the sandwich again as it is just too much. I would order all again but maybe separate them out and share instead. We really wanted to get a desert but just were stuffed.
The only bummer was that we went based on a Landry's card credit. I verified on the Landry's site that Claim Jumper was an option. I booked through Open Table which was a direct link from Landrys. But we found out that Landry's no longer owns Claim Jumper. That is no fault of Claim Jumper, it is all on Landry's for not being updated.
Food quality disappointing. 3 requests for butter for a baked potato forgotten. Offering to send butter home "to go" after meal has been concluded and bill has been paid is a bit disconnected.
The surroundings and decor of the restaurant is very Pacific Northwest, large and modern. Entrees are very tasty and large proportions. Service is very good. We've always enjoyed dining here.
The filet mignon was as good as any fancy overpriced steakhouse and the deserts absolutely to die for (and I totally ate too much).
10/10 would recommend date night and or family get together.
Great service with a GREAT selection of food!! In fact, it took some time to narrow down the food orders. Finally flipped a coin to choose.
Food was cold. Mac n cheese had no cheese. Place was dead but drinks didn't stay topped off. Asked for medium steak. It came out rare. Overpriced food for the poor quality. Pretzel bites were good. And our server was great.
Great service and quality food. I have always been impressed with Claim Jumpers Tualatin.
Great food and great drinks! Never disappointed unless they run out of seafood!
Very nice restaurant. Service was good and the food was delicious. Large dining area and wasn't loud or noisy. Would recommend
Classic steakhouse restaurant. We started by sharing a Caesar salad and then had filet and ribeye steaks with extra (nonshareable) sides: baked potato and grilled asparagus. Meat was excellent, but too much oil was left in the bottom of the hot iron pans in which they were served. Salad and slides were excellent but nothing particularly outstanding. Relaxed atmosphere with quite a few families but we had a quiet booth.
Our party sat in the bar area.
Outstanding service from the bar tender that also waited on our table for our dinner as well as drinks.
Kind and funny.
The experience was perfect.
As as there is a shortage of staff - dining out is something we must all deal with - longer waits to be served - noticed - and food prepared.
I will say that Claim Jumper has outstanding food - prepared perfectly - at a most reasonable price - BIG SERVINGS - enough to share any meal.
The staff does need to communicate better regarding customers - especially in the outside bar area.
They need to update the website. We were very disappointed to find they no longer serve their breakfast menu.
Love the food just really long wait for food! Then for someone to greet us at table or ask for drinks ect!
Pretty frustrating because they are listed as a part of Landry's club, even their address but they refused to take it. We went there for a special family dinner and wanted to use our voucher and ended with this outcome. Not happy about it.
It was a pleasant experience. Our server was exceptionally friendly and enjoyable. The food was prepared perfectly. I had not been to a Claim Jumper in many, many years and this visit made me happy.
Very disappointing meal. Dinner with dessert was $84 for 2 in a "chain" restaurant. Soft drinks served in small glasses with no free refills. Rice was cold. Shrimp was tiny & chewy. Steak was overcooked & dry. Our server tried her best but we will not go back.
So I put in the reservation that it was for a birthday but claim jumper didn’t acknowledge the occasion in any way very disappointed that the restaurant wouldn’t pay attention to the details of the reservation
Great service and great food. Will be coming back soon
there were four of us, two had salads that they said were very good. my husband had the tri tip which was very dry. i had shrimp pasta. the pasta was good but the shrimp didn't taste very good.
Dessert was delicious
We made a reservation and was immediately seated when we arrived. We looked at the menu and was brought over water. Ordering was easy and the drinks were very good. We both ordered hot food and was brought at the best temperature to eat, not too cold. Waiter was extremely helpful and nice.
Food and service was wonderful. Noise level was a bit much, but there was a large Birthday party. Was disappointed that could not use specifically purchased through my credit union gift cards for Claim Jumper because they were Landry cards. They were purchased before COVID-19 and could not be used until recently. Now I have $300 of worthless cards which tends to taint my decision on where I'll go to eat even though we love Claim Jumper.
