Claim Jumper - Village of Hoffman Estates
The buffet is way overpriced. It did not have any shrimp or any carving station there was an omelette station but the person had a tip jar out which I think is very tacky for what I’m paying for my buffet I expect to have an omelette without paying additional for it.
Fantastic Thanksgiving! Claim Jumper did it very well - great food, well organized, excellent service.
Service was not the greatest as our waiter had to talk endlessly with the table next to us after every time he had been to our table. Also, the chicken pot pie my wife ordered was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Ironically, this same thing happened about 2 weeks prior when we had guests in from Ohio. Manager came to table but didn’t offer any compensation for the mistake. Just a very lackluster experience from this place now two times in a row over the course of a month.
Never disappointed with Claim Jumper for a nice dinner out. The food is delicious and the service is on point. The only issue I ever had was with their brunch. They run out of food and the choices available are cold. Perhaps the 2 times I went for brunch were “off” days. Otherwise, the experience has been great.
unfortunately the claim jumper food is not as good as it used to be.
Very nice atmosphere and architectural design . Food is very good and there is a comfortable vibe about Claim Jumpers. Thank you for remembering
Great food and service! Thanks for the free Veterans Day meal!
Service was Great and food was talk good.
The people where great service was great Prople are very friendly and I will keep on enjoy going there
The service was the poorest that I have ever had at the Hoffman Estate location. The waitress totally ignored us all night. When we got our food no one returned to the table to check to see if we needed anything else; which we did. When I complained to the manager, his response made it even worse. With all of the restaurants to choose from, I certainly will NOT be going back to this one. Instead, I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
Overall, an enjoyable dinner...brussel sprouts were well well well done, as were the tiny wings. Asian salad is always a good bet
Service was poor. Food was bland. Drinks were bad. 200.00 for six people...it was just bad.
Very good selection of entries and excellent place to dine with family. Prices are reasonable and portions are ample that includes two sides for the Surf and Turf menu items.
first time having this brunch. overall, pretty good. I would go back. food good, I like the bottomless mimosa's.
good for a quick bite or convenient meeting place. close to shopping
Order came out wrong, took 20-30 minutes to get a drink each time. Missing food items. Buss boys seemed irritated
Beverage service was too slow. Food was good but not outstanding. Plenty of opportunity to be more welcoming and prompt but staff didn’t seem to be too excited.
We had a great time! Service was fantastic as was the food. The cost was reasonable for what we ordered. We find Claim Jumper's to be comfortable without being stuffy and try to go about once a month.
Great service and good food. Everything was what you would expect when ordering savory items. Dessert was awesome too
From the hostess to the inattentive waiter this was not a an experience I want to repeat.
I asked for a table which seem to annoy the hostess but she did accommodate us, with dirty table. She gave us place settings without cleaning a clearly dirty table. The waiter gave us little service and the silverware was dirty as well.
It seemed like a great place maybe Sunday at the end of a brunch isn’t their best time for lunch.
Amazing service from beginning to end. Will definitely come back!
Super slow service. Server was inattentive. We didn't want a helicopter server who hovered, but she only visited our table 3 times--4 if you count bringing the check. The staff members we saw seemed pretty bored and indifferent. Very disappointing experience. It'll be a long time before we return.
The atmosphere and food did not disappoint and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a casual dinner or a date or special night. I will definitely be back.
Love their food and reasonable prices. We were celebrating birtdays so was a good choice.
Great food and service— great for families.
Worth coming if only for the warm bread served free at table!
Was a very nice meeting place! My husband loves going to Claim Jumpers because you have Root beer Barrels. The wait staff were professional, respectful of our privacy, prompt. The food was good. We all had something different. Plenty to eat. The French fries for one of us were cold. We spoke to the waiter. He took them back and the manager brought fresh and hot ones. It was a lovely experience. We wondered why more people weren’t at the restaurant!?
The food was delicious and our server, Meghan, was wonderful. She was friendly and attentive.
Great service but poor quality food. Also a little pricey.
We both had the Caesar Salad with shrimp. It was delicious and their loaf of bread they served was absolutely delicious!
Very good food, we celebrated a birthday there. The drinks were also great. Service not so much..
We brought our out of town company there for dinner and to see family members. The food is delicious. We had filets, flatbread pizzas salads. Everything was great! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
We come here often and everything is consistently good. We brought another couple for my birthday award dinner and they enjoyed the experience as well.
It was Very nice we went before 6 PM so it was not crowded at all our server was very good it was a first date and it turned out real well... Loved the menu there were so many things to choose from
The noise level is high making conversation difficult.
Has there been a change in who is running CJ within the past year? The menu is different ( not as much of a choice) and we felt hurried more than before. Maybe it was the night ( Wednesday ) but this was one reason we picked CJ. We needed to talk and visit-usually this can be done there so graciously.
Excellent food and service. I had After the Gold Rush, would recommend.
Food was very tasty and good portions. Some of the prices are a little bit higher than I expected . As far as the birthday dessert they should give you a choice of any dessert on the menu as some people have allergies especially to nuts or dairy.
Nothing spectacular at this chain. The food was decent and the service was OK. There wasn't anything truly bringing me back here. Was the first time we went and we won't rush back. Too many other options.
Excellent food, and service!
A bit disappointed. We are GF, and they used to be much better about it. Even though their menus still state GF, the waitress was quick to use "gluten sensitive" but clearly didn't know anything about what could be made gf, etc. Restaurants need to train their staff much better in this regard. No gf dessert options.
