We went saturday night to celebrate valentines and an anniversary. I ordered a rib eye medium rare and it came along and it was well done. They took my dish back but left my wife with hers. in fairness they did bring along a strater while they did me a new steak but this mistake just took away from the evening. While the rest of the night was fine and the service staff were attentive on reflection I dont think this is acceptable for a restaurant that is meant to specialise in steak and for the price they were charging. I paid €150 for the two of us for two cocktails, one bottle of red, our mains and one desert. First time here and disappointed and too many other options in the city to go back.
Visited here with a friend & thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was great & the service was excellent. Our waiter was both charming & knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Food was nice, restaurant door was left open so a breeze was blowing in. I asked the waitress if she could close the door and she said she wasn’t allowed because of the hotel. I quickly ate and got out of the restaurant because it was a cold day and it was uncomfortable sitting there with a breeze on your back.

They couldn’t find my reservation on their system which was stressful. Food and service were fine but the place was extremely dirty. Bits and pieces of food on couches and the floor. They clearly hadn’t cleaned the place for a while. I even used my hand to clean my seat of breadcrumbs and food before sitting right in front of my waitress and she didn’t really react at all.

All in all it was an enjoyable meal, was a little bit disappointed to discover that the menu on display outside the restaurant was not the one on offer at I was looking forward to the venison dish that was in the outside menu. Wife and I ate from the early menu, the starters chicken goysa and pork belly were both delicious.
For mains my wife had the pork belly which was very tasty, it was beautyfully cooked, the fat had rendered down perfectly and the skin was nice and crispy. I had the hake which we disappointing, the fish was a little overcooked and the was no real standout flavour in the dish, everything was just there, but nothing stood out.
The service was quite slow also, there was very long waiting periods between courses, we ordered an additional glass of wine to go with our mains, but by the time we had finished our wine had not arrived so we cancelled it as we needed to leave to catch a show. All in all, many positives but let down by slow service and a disappointing fish dish.

Worst dining out experience in long time. Hadn’t been here for few years. We were In Temple Bar on June bank hol Sunday and I suggested we eat there. Big mistake..,! We all ordered the burgers and asked for them to be cooked as “medium “ as possible.. I ordered with no bun. After an unacceptable wait time ... My cremated shrivelled up excuse for a burger arrived on a plate with none of the listed trimmings and absolutely nothing else on plate ...! I was shocked instantly at its unappetizing appearance. The other burgers arrived with bun and all the trimmings but were apparently dried up and over cooked ... I called the waiter and showed him my plate and asked if he thought that it was acceptable to serve a plate like that .. he agreed it didn’t look good and offered to change it.. I told him to bring me a side salad as I was now too hungry to await any further, the chef came to talk to us and we gave him our overview of his delivery of our food. He apologized. We paid and left. Shame to see Oliver Dunne still has his name on this place.. disaster....

customer service was so good. visited with three friends and my toddler, staff were so friendly and attentive esp to helping with my toddler, bringing his food out early, making a dish esp for him. Really rate the staff's service.

20 mins waiting for desert, ordered cocktails after desert and cocktails were gone by the time desert arrived.

Had the Sunday bottomless brunch experience and it was great. Only reason for the 4* is for the lack of vegetarian options :(

First ever brunch here and I throughly enjoyed it ! Our waiter was sooo attentive and lovely , we were never short a drink continuously being topped up and never rushed off our table so relaxing! Everyone around us was clearly having a great time too! Besides all of that, our food was also to die for Won’t be our last visit!!!

Disappointing. Initially did not have reservation. Music too loud even though we complained. Much better options in Dublin at the moment.

Poor service. The staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there. Served cold mussels with my main dish. Side dishes were slow to arrive, had to ask for one that was left sitting on the bar. Friday night and the place was near empty and quiet, no atmosphere. Won’t be back.

Three of us had a booking on Saturday night at 8.30pm. The venue was very quiet, not much atmosphere.
My starter of pork belly was enjoyable and tasty however my friends pork belly main course was disappointing ( portion size and syrupy sauce). My own main course of rib-eye steak was served tepid/almost cold, the garlic butter placed on top didn't even melt. My other friend wasn't happy with her fish mains either. We were offered a free desert each or a glass of wine, which we availed of. The waitress was lovely and couldn't apologize enough but I'm afraid we won't be returning again.
Opted to go for the surprise tasting menu and what to say, it was one of the best meals that both of us had. I was here 2 years ago and it was similar experience so wanted to come back.Definitely will be back again soon as it was a really good experience.
Lovely space and great location but not the most enjoyable lunch. We had not realised that it catered to big parties for bottomless brunch on Saturday. The restaurant was full but all big tables with a rapid turnover and the music was very loud. We were only a party of two and we not the target clientele so we selected badly. Food was good. Would not recommend for a long chatty lunch.

No record of our open table booking, they said they could squeeze us in but would need the table back in 2 hours. Funny part of that was, the place was virtually empty. 3-4 other tables seated and 8-10 empty. Whatever.... food was well cooked but boring. None of us were impressed. Service was good but not worth the effort to go back. So many other choices in Dublin.
I loved the food, many choices, generous starters, attentive service, good atmosphere. The wine was expensive for little choice in it
Great place, a little under staffed. But try the fries!
