Coach at The Bull Beaumaris
Absolutely beautiful meal! Will definitely book again next time we are in Beaumaris.
Very happy with the choice of restaurant. We were allowed to sit at our table early. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food very good. All 4 guests happy with their food. Ambiance was good and noise level not too high.
Shown to our seats straight away drinks order taken in minutes followed by the food order did not have to wait very long for the food to arrive excellent main meal and sweet would return again.
Great food and great service.
The restaurant was a little warm; I would look at changing the music as nobody wants to eat to Olly Murs!
Add a steak to the menu, but to be honest, that’s me being picky.
We will definitely be back.
Good food, would have preferred the menu shown online!
Everything was perfect and really good quality food
Everything about this place is disappointing.
The bar is aged and poor quality. The food was quite frankly shocking! The risotto was a disgrace and the roasts were pitiful.
Sadly, we did not enjoy our evening with friends. Two meals were fine but the two lamb meals were not. One was not cooked to order and went back. The other was impossible to cut into. Neither were Cutlets but more like a robust rack of lamb The kitchen was slow to deal with our plates and as a result two of us had finished eating before the final dish came back.
Compound that with lees at the bottom of the Merlot - that was the last straw.
I contacted the Bull the next day but have not received any response.
We had a lovely family meal and Sunday Lunch. Excellent Food.
The staff were very friendly and the actual place is lovely unfortunately we arrived on a Saturday night before the bonfire and fireworks so it took over an hour to get our food some of which was undercooked so had to be sent back. A real shame as this would be a lovely place if they could sort out the food.
Lovely atmosphere with a nice ambience to the place but unfortunately we picked a day when the kitchen was under staffed?! Although the manager did apologise we waited a long time for the starters to arrive. When the food did arrive it was nice apart from the vedgtables which were under cooked!
A shame because overall a lovely place to dine in.
Enjoyable food, great atmosphere and a lovely night.
Really good Sunday Lunch here. Beef pink. Excellent Yorkshires. Desserts were superb. Highly recommend this eaterie.
Lovely atmosphere and interior but just felt that the food lacked any taste to it. One steak was cooked okay but lots of fat and the other was grey and looked like it had been boiled. Hay hollandaise is also not a great eating experience but there were no other sauce options.
Good food, friendly knowledgeable staff, attentive service. Would recommend.
Brilliant food and a beautiful atmosphere will definitely come again.
Excellent food. For some reason, as last time we were there, the service was rather slow after we were seated, slow follow-up in taking drinks and food orders. Then speeded up. But very enjoyable ambiance, first rate food, altogether first rate and we will be regulars when in Beaumaris. Highly recommended. Especially the seafood chowder!
Delicious meal after a day in the outdoors. The bar was lovely and cosey for a night cap.
Good food and very pleasant surroundings. Service can be a little slow.
Had Sunday lunch. Was warm and cosy as it was bad weather outside. Food was ok. Hummus quite tasteless and oversized portion of whitebait. Sunday lunch meat was a little tasteless also but rest of meal was fine. Staff were attentive.
A very attractive restaurant with a good buzzy atmosphere.Value for money with good portions .
We were warmly greeted by the staff and seated without delay even though we had arrived early. The staff were attentive throughout the meal but not too intrusive. The food was excellent in quality and presentation; indeed the ribeye steaks were probably the best we had ever tasted. We would certainly recommend this restaurant to anybody and we will return next time we are in the area.
We have been dining at The Bull on a regular basis since the Coach opened under its original name about 20 years ago.
We have always regarded it as a special and inviting place to dine. The ambiance has always enjoyable and first class.
On the food side I would say that over the last couple of years the meals that my wife and I have had are not at the same level as the previous 18 years.
Our visit on October 5th was our first this year. While the meal was extremely good, it was the second attempt as we had to send back the first due to being cold.
Hopefully next time we go, which we will, it will be perfect first time.
Couldn’t fault the decor or ambience. Food ok. Waited 20 minutes for someone to ask if we’d like dessert. By this time we’d grown tired of waiting, and got up to ask for the bill. Better restaurants to be found locally.
Very friendly staff and good food. I would definitely recommend.
warm and welcoming. very busy so could have had more staff as drinks took a while to arrive. However the food was good and what staff there was worked hard and were polite and friendly. Would go again if in the area.
The most perfect Sunday lunch I have had for many a year.
Generally a very gd restaurant and experience, waitress that did drinks order needed three attempts too get it right
Desserts fab, bread served with chowder slightly stale
Excellent all round. Beautiful well run restaurant with great food, wine list and attentive polite staff.
Having eaten at the Coach on a number of occasions, the service was exceptionally poor, the food disappointing and staff was in need of management training. Very disappointing and will be some time before we consider eating there again.
Nice venue, food good. Asked for extra gravy but it never came. Made a joke of it so no big deal. Reasonable pricing. Would give it another shot
Our table for two was in close proximity to another similar table which we thought might be a little invasive of privacy, however the general ambiance on a busy Saturday night in the restaurant meant it wasn’t a problem. The menu was pleasing and well priced, and the wine selection erred on the side of quality rather than quantity. The waiting staff were attentive without being overbearing, and the management team likewise. The outside dining area looked welcoming, maybe on another occasion rather than a chilly mid September evening. I would recommend Coach to anyone visiting Beaumaris, particularly for a special occasion in smart surroundings.
Nice place - although a bit noisy and the tables were too close together. The food was OK. My husband asked for a medium stake, but it was rare in places (as was the lady's on the 'too close' table next to us). I had the tofu which, again, was OK and nothing more.
On arrival we were asked if we'd like tap water for the table. We said yes, but 20 minutes later we had to ask again. Having said that, the staff were all very pleasant and the surroundings nice.
I'm not sure if I'd go again to be honest, but I'd recommend it to others based on the general ambience.
Excellent food with friendly staff in a great place.
Good veg. Tough stringy roast beef.
Burned lemon mille fuille with very thin lemon layer and 4 raspberries as decoration. No response or reduction to complaint. Soft millionaires shortbread.
Great bistro style restaurant, busy and buzzy atmosphere. We were told that the restaurant was very busy with a large party and our food may be delayed. This was very helpful and we were given some bread to keep us going. We very much appreciated this honest communication. In fact we didn't wait to long at all. The menu is varied with plenty of choice. Our food was well presented, well cooked and flavoursome. The staff were polite, attentive and professional. All in all a very good meal, in a great contemporary restaurant.
The best Sunday Lunch we’ve ever had.
Choice was excellent and staff very efficient
Food was the best i have had on a long time would highly recommend
Lovely restaurant, excellent food, friendly efficient staff. Recommended.
Visited the Bull Bistro fora meal with friends.
Good service and food in a lovely location.
