    Coco's was such a wonderful experience (and always is). Our server Jason was fantastic- attentive, humorous, and extremely kind. Our food was great - truly one of the best dining experiences in Dayton.

    It was a very nice evening. Perfect greeting at the door and service. Food was excellent. Obtaining drinks was very timely. Wonderful atmosphere—clean, simple, pleasant. Not overcrowded that your table was not right next to another diner’s table. Couldn’t have asked for better for perfection along with simplicity.

    Excellent as always. Never had a bad experience or food at Coco’s. Really enjoyed the dual sauces with the shrimp cocktail. Wish they would bring back the Poke, it was the best we ever had.

    We had our wedding reception at Cocos a year ago. The experience was top of the line from the food, to the drinks, to the service, basically everything. We just went back for our 1st year anniversary for dinner and the experience was the same. Cocos does it right. It is a great experience. Tip of the cap to the owner, workers, and everyone else involved

    We went for lunch. The salmon burger (with real French fries) was one of the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the salmon burger (with tomato bisque) and she loved it. We will be back!!

    A gastronomic exploration of Cocos Cafe recently culminated in one of the best meals I've had all year, a testament to their unwavering commitment to culinary excellence. Their Half Chicken and Fried Brie combination are a masterful duo that resonated with my palate in ways that I did not expect. The Half Chicken was quite a revelation. Presented with perfect golden-brown crispness, the poultry was flawlessly cooked—moist and succulent on the inside while retaining a delightful crunch on the outside. Each bite sent a wave of flavors that ranged from subtly earthy to magnificently robust. This dish indeed elevated the humble chicken to a level of elegance that is seldom achieved in many establishments. However, the true pièce de résistance was the Fried Brie. This isn't your regular cheese dish. Cocos Cafe turned it into an ethereal experience. Encased in a crispy, golden crust, the Brie was a study in contrast—simultaneously maintaining its shape while delicately yielding to the gentlest pressure. Once cut open, the gooey, creamy Brie spilled out, creating an alluring sight that heightened the anticipation of the first bite. And oh, what a divine experience that was! The creamy cheese perfectly complemented the crunchy exterior, resulting in a dish that was not just delicious but also texturally appealing. Beyond the main course, Cocos Cafe's ambiance and service deserve to be mentioned. The restaurant's cozy and intimate atmosphere was a perfect backdrop for the indulgent meal. The staff were attentive and professional, adding another layer to the dining experience. In summary, dining at Cocos Cafe was an experience of pure, unadulterated joy. Their Half Chicken and Fried Brie are standout offerings, demonstrating the kitchen's prowess and deep understanding of how to extract the best flavors and textures from simple ingredients.     Everything was pretty much average, and I thought the price point was high for just an average meal. Service was fine, but took over an hour to get our meal for a Thursday @ 7:15pm reservation. I tried them twice this month, both experiences were about the same.

    Cocos is one of our favorites. The food is always good, the service outstanding, and Tom the bartender makes the best vodka martinis in town. I also love that Karen, the owner, is usually in the restaurant and makes it a point to say hello to guests and makes sure that people feel welcome and appreciated.

    Food was good; salmon was done medium / well, the small potatoes were barely warm, and the asparagus was not up to par tonight. The salads were crisp, and the best part of dinner. Coffee was not hot, server didn’t seem to care either way. Overall, not our best experience the third time around.

    We started out with the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and it was delicious. For an entree we had the mussels and mahi mahi and that was fantastic, The food is consistently outstanding!

    I brought a very large party for dinner after a graduation. We had a superb waitress, Deidre who patiently provided superb service. The food and drink was perfect. The atmosphere was lovely. It was a perfect evening.

    I was surprised at how busy lunch was on Thursday - happy for all that it is. I believe this is why the noise level was higher than usual but it was still possible for my friend and I to visit. The server was attentive despite the amount of tables he was serving.

    Great food. Excellent service. We celebrated a significant birthday and enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. Unfortunately, the notes I included with my OpenTable reservation were not read, so I had to say something about the birthday to the server and my dessert request went unnoticed. Call to make special requests seems to be a good rule of thumb. Otherwise, our server did a good job trying to make up for it. I would definitely return and recommend the restaurant.

    |The setting and service were phenomenal but that's about it. The food tastes bad. Ribeye steak was ok at best, fries were alright, soup was terrible, burger was dry, only the pizza was good.

    My brother and I are in town for a few days visiting our parents. We decided to visit Coco’s for lunch. Our 11:30 reservation was honored and we’re lead to our table. We’re greeted promptly by Rose who is a delightful staff member who eagerly answered our questions about what she loves about living in Dayton. She gracefully takes us through the lunch menu. We both selected the Burger and split a Beet Salad. The food, presentation, and value are top notch. The ambiance is stylish, modern, and simple. We had a delightful visit from the proprietor, Karen, who conversed with us for about 15 minutes. We appreciate her hospitality. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to the next opportunity.
