Cold Storage @ Swift & Sons

Oysters were great. Everything else we tried from the menu was just okay. We were excited by the photos from the website but it seemed that most of those options weren't even on the menu besides the seafood tower. Our favorite were the portugese sardines and those are literally from a can.

Great cocktails and service! Loved the outside seating arrangement with heat lamps.

Its good to come out and support our local guys during COVID, so we decided to stop by one of our favorite spots.

I guess this place has been harder than what I would have expected. You could come here, and get a variety of oysters and cocktails, with their own sauces. Which they had to search for, so I'm guessing what they brought me was the last of it.

Now it was pretty much limited to 3 regions for oysters, and even for cocktails, they really only had one special. Granted with the full bar at their disposal, they can make anything, but its nice to be able to try some hand crafted cocktails that places like this usually like to push.

Really hope this place recovers and gets back to what they use to do. If your looking for good oysters and a variety of cocktails, there are other places not hit as hard and have stayed true to their theme.

My fiancee and I ate here on a Saturday date night because we had a card for here and were in the mood for seafood.

The atmosphere is very trendy industrial chic, which I enjoyed except for the stools. The stools were tiny old stools that looked nice and retro but were so small I couldn't fit both feet on the rail.

The service was very good, and our waiter Oscar was very friendly. The seafood was also very good but there wasn't as much for the price compared to someplace like Boston Fish Market in the 'burbs. I know some of that pricing is the cost of being in Fulton Market, but still...

The food was excellent, great service, and a wonderful ambiance. Celebrated a birthday and got special bday shots. We had an excellent time and will most definitely be back!

Great location in Athens Fulton market district valet offered little to no street parking or garage parking right around the corner good service was happy hour some nice drink specials and 1$ oysters shrimp cocktail was great and reasonable price accommodated doing only mussels in the mussels and clams dish deserts where great blood orange sorbet and chocolate sundae ice cream

I never write reviews but I feel like I need too for this restaurant. I loved everything about this restaurant from the food to the ambience. For the food I give it 5 stars the chef and the cook staff was excellent. I loved that the chef doesn’t have salt and pepper on the table he’s that confident in his cooking and as well as he should be I didn’t need to add anything to the dishes they were all amazing. Second I love the bus boy and the waiter very attentive and very nice. All and all I love this restaurant and will be back. One of my favorite restaurant during restaurant week.

Micro tower was outstanding. Happy hour oysters were just ok especially when compared to the quality of the oysters and other seafood in the tower. Some of the food is a little pricey but definitely would come back to treat myself to the chilled seafood as the quality really stood out to me.

Restaurant week menu was good. Loved the vegetable soup and whitefish chowder. Wedge Louie salad excellent. Sandwiches very good. Dessert was the best, especially key lime profiterole

portions. Maybe it is like that all the time. Rather disappointed in the food offered.
Probably ordering off their main menu would be better.

Terrible service :( I selected Cold Storage for a late dinner with friends on a Tuesday night and I was very disappointed with our experience. There were maybe three other tables in the whole restaurant and the waiter seemed to be friendly and attentive to the other patrons, but then it seemed like the waiter was purposely avoiding my table. I had to ask for the wine menu twice (was never offered the wine list to begin with) and for more water for our table three times. It took about 25 minutes for our desserts to arrive after we finished our entree and then an additional 15 minutes to get the check upon our request. Overall I felt like a burden to the staff. . .not a guest. It was clear that we were not liked or that we were maybe being discriminated against? For a $200 dinner, I was extremely disappointed. Will never return.

Amazing food and great restaurant vibe. Will definitely be back!

Good seafood option for the Fulton Market area

Great for a Friday Happy hour. Oysters were delicious! The staff could have been a little more warm and informative.

Happy hour $1 oysters is an amazing deal. The rest of our dishes were fresh and delicious!

I went and sat at the bar for lunch during RW and could not have been more impressed with the quality and portion sizes. The food tasted very fresh and the rose wine on tap was the perfect complement to the shrimp and trout in my dishes. Not advertised, they give out malted vinegar chips which was a nice and tasty surprise!

The service was outstanding, everyone at the bar was extremely attentive and fun.

Went for restaurant a week. Late greet after the table. The courses I chose were good but my husbands were lacking. Would try again but stick with seafood not their other menu items.

I love this place. The restaurant week menu was one of the best. Also, the service was seriously amazing. They have awesome staff who are kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. If you've never been here you're missing out!

The Best! Love that you get access to both restaurant menus as they really complement each other, this one has more of a cold hipster vibe the other is more aesthetically pleasing but the service is unmatched overall over the top excellence!

Great ambiance & good music at a level that allows conversation. The beer cheese soup was a special and it was flavorful, not too thick, and crunchy rye croutons. The fried shrimp were really peppery /spicy. I wouldn’t recommend the crab roll, not the best flavor. Can’t go wrong with the ice cream sundae.

Business meal- sat at bar area high tops, slightly difficult to hear at far end of table due to ambient noise. Unsure if there was a different menu for the restaurant area, but menu was somewhat limited, and surprisingly not that seafood forward.

For a seafood place of that magnitude you would hope that all seafood would be caught from the wild (organic). That is not the case with Cold Storage, which is unfortunate as the ambiance and the service (our server was Nem) were great!

Food was excellent from a taste perspective but the portions were small and a tad bit overpriced. Location is very convenient to UC.

Been here thrice now. Food is always delicious. I was here for brunch most recently and our service was perfect. So personal and efficient and warm. I chose the $18 shrimp 'n' waffles which only had 3 shrimp. They were amazing, but I was hoping for more of those fat and juicy suckers.

Food was great and the server was very nice. Most of us enjoyed the $26 lunch special which had good portions. There were 9 of us for a work lunch and service took over two hours, which is too long. Stools become extremely uncomfortable after an hour there. Restaurant was not full so no idea why it took so long

Really chill atmosphere and wonderful, fresh seafood. I'll be visiting again.
