   Love Coles. The food is the best in Lexington and the service is top notch. I prefer sitting in the bar or inside. The outside heated area is weird but the food makes up for it if you are stuck in that plastic box

   Coles is unbelievable. The specials are always so good. I usually end up selecting one. The made to order cookies are a staple. Get them with ice cream.

   Excellent food,service, and atmosphere. The steak is on par or better than Tony’s and Jeff Ruby’s, but a bit cheaper. This extends to the entire menu, really - appetizers, sides, dessert, drinks are all just as good as any other steak house in Lexington but the prices are a bit better across the board. This easily makes a $50-$100 difference by the end of the meal. Despite them being fully booked, we never felt rushed to leave, and it didn’t seem like they had overbooked, which most restaurants downtown are at least a bit guilty of.

    I made reservations well in advance but could only be seated in the heated gazebo. They have heaters there but they weren't placed where they did the most good. My feet got very cold and I had to put my coat on eventually. For our party of 6, everyone commented about how good their food was. I got the filet and it was cooked perfectly, my husband's chicken was excellent and one person got the Beef Shoulder Tender and raved about it. I didn't feel that our waitress, Hallie, was the nicest and would prefer to have another when we go back.

    We have a 5pm reservation and were rushed out of the restaurant. Never offered after dinner cocktails or desserts. Clearly did not want our business.

    The food was delicious, service was a little on the slow side. Decor is dated and it was freezing in the building. People were requesting to move to the fireplace it was so cold. The portion sizes are generous and everything was delicious so overall, the experience was good.

    The food was exceptional, but the service was even better. Took such good care of us and honestly went above and beyond when our toddle made a mess. Didn’t make us feel like a burden for needing to bring our child to dinner with us. We cannot wait to go back.

    Always excellent, as usual. John was our server & he was fabulous, as were all other attendants. We met the operations manager, who was impressive as he served our drinks. Thank you, Cole’s, for always performing as the best in Lexington!

    We had an early reservation, 5:30, a party of 6. We are a group of 6 retired senior women who gather at various restaurants usually monthly to enjoy the food and the company. Our waitress, Yolanda was excellent. We ordered drinks & bread, Yolanda took our orders and all was well. Unfortunately, I do not know the time we placed our order. We enjoy each others company and don't have trouble having conversation but we realized it was quite some time waiting for our food. We asked Yolanda to check on it, she did, twice. When we got our food, it was hot & well presented. Two of the ladies ordered French Dip and one lady ordered a burger. They were pleased with their meal. However the salmon and brussel sprouts was not worth the $38. One lady order the beef special which sounded like roast, potatoes & carrots. She received maybe 4 bites of meat and a lot of potatoes. The last lady ordered the chicken on the menu. She stated the chicken was good but she did not care for the green beans and again there were a lot of potatoes. We are all retired bankers, we understand that all prices are very high currently and restaurants, like everyone else, must make money to stay in business. However, we thought the prices were excessively high for the food served. Our last experience there, the waiter failed to send in one of the orders and then when he did send it in, it was wrong. Needless to say, Cole's will not be a place we visit any time soon and I cannot recommend it to anyone!

    Get the Duck Confit. It is worth every penny. Brie en Croute also very delicious appetizer. Tried the avocado appetizer years ago and remembered it as very tasty. A great experience.

    It was my sisters 75th birthday and she wanted to go to Cole’s. It was outstanding! She had the filet and my husband had the New York strip. Everything from the fancy fried pickles salad, entrees and her birthday dessert were outstanding! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful in making our entree selection easy! I wish I could remember his name. It was a happy birthday and a happy New Year!

    We always go to Coles to close out the year for our family dinner. The service, food and drinks were fabulous! Chef Cole and his team never disappoint. Lexington is blessed to have a restaurant of this quality. I hope to enjoy for years to come. Cheers and Happy New Years!

    Excellent dining experience. Everything from starters thru dessert was delicious. My only recommendation is that we saw the owner go to a table to talk with other guests. It would have been very nice if he’d come over & spoken. Our bill was approx $525 for the 5 of us. A “thanks for coming in” or “glad you’re here” from Cole would’ve been a very nice touch, esp since he was right beside us at another table.
