chickpea puree, rhubarb agrodolce, tapenade
ponzu, cara cara, pineapple guava, pomegranates, radicchio
persimmon, apple, burrata, crispy brussel leaves & autumn squash
All the food was really good. Service was great! I wish they had a bigger selection as they minimized the menu.
As always, the food at Convivo is amazing! With the new re-opening and safety measures, they have done a fabulous job. We felt safe and comfortable. The staff was polite and understanding. Thank you Convivo for staying strong and making a comfortable experience during this awkward time.
Service from Faith was terrific. Food was good, especially the turkey panino. The Tuna salad was ok; had several baby artichokes that were essentially impossible to consume, but the rest was good. Margherita pizza was nice but not spectacular. $5 to add asparagus, which I wouldn't have minded if there had been substantial quantity added (looked to be a total of 2 spears on the entire pizza. Geez). Drinks were good (espresso based), and the Afrogato dessert was outstanding.
Dinner was delicious! Varied specialty cocktail menu and very good wine list. Veal Bolognese and English Pea “gnocchi” superior. Lamb meatballs highly recommended for smaller appetites. We did not have dessert, but will head back soon! Spacious seating not all crammed together with lovely ocean view.
A few girlfriends and I decided to dine here for restaurants week. It was my first visit so I was very excited. We ordered from the RW menu. Lamb meatballs were great. A friend got the artichokes and it was bit difficult for her to eat as that plate was super tiny.
The server was nice.. not too forward but also didn't try to engage us in conversation or make suggestions for cocktails and food.
My entre was the pork shank. I felt that there was a lot of oil from the meat on the plate. The flavor and taste was good. Meat was tender. I felt the plate could have used more of the polenta although that was a bit grainy.
I wasn't wowed but I did enjoy the meal.
My wife and I are regulars and have never had a disappointing dining experience at Convivo. From the home-made pastas to the many protein selections, the menu caters to a variety of tastes. Nick, the manager is always at the top of his game, making sure all the small, rarely noticed details are being taken care of. When we dine elsewhere, we always miss the same attention we get at Convivo. And so we return.
Juan was extraordinary with his service. Food was delicious , especially the pizza
We always love Convivo, one of the best spots in Snta Barbara. The location directly across from the ocean is unparalleled, the food is excellent and the Mgr personally makes sure your happy with your experience here. First class!
We enjoyed our evening meal and were impressed with the friendliness and service from your staff which started with your valet parking. Thank you.
We were in pismo for the weekend celebrating our anniversary and we decided to go to Santa Barbara spur of the moment. I reached out on Facebook asking about restaurants in Santa Barbara and my good friend highly recommended your place. Our food was delicious and the server was excellent. I wish I would have been hungry so I could have tried more things. We plan to go back in a few months
We sat at a lovely table under a portico on their patio, overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Five of us shared two of their pizzas, two of their salads, the crab cake appetizer, and the amazing focaccia bread ( not to be missed). We then shared a lemon tart & chocolate caramel bar with hazelnut ice cream for dessert. Valet parking is free, and the location is easy to get to. Highly recommend!!
Excellent dinner, service was fantastic.... Michael our server was Wonderful - ambience was great... A +
Always enjoy our meals at Convivo! Very relaxing and unpretentious, and the food is outstanding. Our rib appetizer was a bit too "charred", but still delicious.
This was our second time back to Convivo in 7 days, both times for lunch (though on Sunday I think it is called brunch). We would definitely return and may go for dinner during Restaurant Week. The only disappointment was my husband's latte he ordered after lunch. It tasted like heated milk, without any caffeine. As we were with friends visiting from Sonoma, en route to Indian Hills, we didn't bother to ask for a remake. Perhaps it was just a fluke? P.S. Serving portions are very generous. P.P.S. Friends have said there Happy Hour on the patio is excellent.
Excellent as always p!
Food was phenomenal！
Pizza was great, however i did find a hair in one of my slices.
First three bottles of wine ordered they were out of, indicating with all three the last bottle was just sold. Had reservations, and was given a table in the middle of the patio in spite of better tables left empty. Did move us without struggle. The next three sets of patrons also refused the middle table. Server, Michael, was ready to go home — we were one of the last tables — dropped the check w/o offering desert. Food was rather unimaginative. However, location spectacular!
This was our third valentines dinner at Convivo. We will be back. Great service, great atmosphere and fabulous food. Thanks for a great experience once again.
Went for a business meeting on Valentines Day evening. I was expecting it to be crazy but it wasn’t. It was busy, with every table filled, but the service was excellent and the kitchen was efficient. I was very impressed and so were the people dining with me.
We had no complaints except for the noise level which made it difficult to have a table conversation. The servers were attentive and the food was excellent.
Great food and lovely atmosphere..it was a nice reunion for us with good friends!
Excellent location, ambiance and food was outstanding! I highly recommend the mixted seafood dish. Desserts phenomenal too!
Wonderful all around! Waiter and food were excellent.
Always love Convivo esp when weather is nice and seating is available on the patio- lovely!
The menu is Mediterranean and their lamb meatballs are divine if you eat lamb. Today we had lunch and our young man server could not have been more responsive or congenial. He made the entire lunch relaxing and sumptuous! Wish I knew his name but he was tall with dark hair and had an accent .
I love Convivo! It is my go to place with friends for Happy Hour! It is the best Happy Hour in Santa Barbara! Great location! Staff remember you after a few visits!
Eclectic menu.Good bar service and drinks. One drawback. No gluten free bread or pastas
Amazing food great ambient and good service definitely coming back again
Atmosphere on the patio is really outstanding, even on an unusually cold evening. Food is innovative and consistently good. Sometimes have to remind Server of earlier requests. Wine menu is good w/plenty of options at "reasonable" price points.
Outstanding and Great wait staff!! Thank you for your patient understanding with a toddler family !!
lovely outdoor room with wonderful views of ocean; inventive, tasty food and friendly service.
House made pasta was good, with a very food tomato sauce. The whole fish was expensive ($65) for two, and poorly deboned and cut. The fish seemed frozen! Poorly prepared. Salads were good. Service was excellent. Very good wine list.
Several dishes were amazing! Brussels sprouts, grilled avocado, beet and burrata salad. It was a late lunch on a Tuesday and was wonderfully quiet.
Food and service were both outstanding; we especially loved the appetizers
We really enjoyed our dinner at Convivo. The staff was awesome and made spot-on recommendations. We will absolutely be back, and bring friends with us.
Everything was perfect, as it always is !
Best of the Best in Santa Barbara==service, ambiance, and view.
The food is beautifully prepared and always extraordinary.
Excellent food, interesting and refreshing menu. The prawn appetizer was outstanding. Wish they would give bread out without having to pay for it.
Great service, beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious!!
