Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Reston
Always great food, wine and service. Thank you!
Too loud but food was better than in past visits . Service was good.
During the COVID-19 time, service and food were still exceptional. It was a pre-planned date night and it was perfect.
always good food and service. We took a wine tasting and it was very good and very informative. I may have to join their wine club. it is a great value and Cooper’s Hawk has an incredible selection of wine
We went out to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful meal. Our waiter brought me dessert and sang to me! We have been here for dinner multiple times and have never been disappointed by either the service or the food.
We had a nice booth seat so it was intimate and allowed us to hear each other. The waiter remembered it was my birthday and brought a "little something" The food was excellent!
Chris was our waiter and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, friendly and always came to check at just the right time. Food was great like usual! Only negative is that it is very loud every time we go..It's not a huge place and almost always packed at dinner time.
Always the best!
We always have a great meal and delicious wine at Cooper’s Hawk! I now know, though, to avoid one table - we were sat right in the spot/at the table where everyone enters the restaurant area. The number of people walking past our table was a lot!! It took away from our meal experience. Our server was clearly new, but attentive and kind. I will always recommend Cooper’s Hawk!
Food was good but noise level a bit high. Could barely carry on a conversation with other people at our table.
The Cooper's Hawk team was great! They even brought a surprise birthday dessert for the guest of honor. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
I always enjoy the food, wine and cocktails, everything was as I have come to expect. Will continue to highly recommend this winery and restaurant.
My only complaint is the Bar is way too small, we often like to meet at the bar and there is NEVER any seating there, not even standing room I would recommend taking away the tasting area during peak evenings and during happy hours and make that an additional bar to accommodate more customers for food and drinks.
During the summer it is better because of the outside seating, still not a bar but nice setup outside.
Great food but they need to train their wait staff better. 3 times during dinner the wait staff came to our table trying to find who plated dinners belonged to. It got to be a joke who ordered what food
Service was no very good or prompt. Appetizers came out separately and partially good. (We had to ask for our soup.) Waited over 50 minutes for our entrees and when they arrived they were cold. Not as tasteful as the Coopers Hawk in Ashburn. The Ashburn restaurant was much much better all around.
Food and service was outstanding. Love the taste of the day’s wine.
I come often to Reston Coopers Hawk and this visit wasn’t as good as normally would. The service is great but the food this time sat on the bin for awhile and the green beans was burnt (wilted dark brown and unrecognizable green beans) not sure what happened so overall is good. You can reach out if you have any question. Thanks
Everything was good with the exception of the noise level. Much too loud! We practically had to scream to talk with our friends. I just don’t enjoy eating out much anymore. It seems as though most restaurants don’t design their venues with noise control in mind because they want the “energetic” vibe but it is just annoying and frustrating.
First time there. Good food, good service. Will return.
Normal night out. Waiter Brandon was great. Very nice. Food and wine was fantastic.
I had an issue with something in my food that was addressed by manager.
We go there for the wine club. Food is fine to good. Service is hit or miss.
The service and food were great! I hope to go back soon.
The food is always great, although the menu is quite extensive. Many of their wines are very good, and the staff is well trained at pairing them with your meals.
Wonderful dinner before a Wolf Trap show. Gnocchi carbonara was exquisite. I should have licked the plate after my crispy Mauai shrimp. The crunchy brussel sprouts, while tasty, had too much sauce and seasoning for me; the brussel sprouts were hidden. If one doesn't really care for brussel sprouts, then they are for you. Although normally selecting our wines and usually not traditionally, my wife and I went with the suggested pairings; they were both very good.
This was the first time at this restaurant. Honestly, there was nothing on the menu I wouldn't have ate. If you are a person that gets appetizers, definitely go for the brussell sprouts - you won't be disappointed.
Ambiance and vibe were great , unfortunately lettuce wedge salad was way over dressed and the lettuce looked yellow. Leonard burger was average at best ... bun was stale and flavorless. Fries were average and portion seemed small. Busy place, maybe caught the kitchen on an off night. Server was excellent ... Brandon ??
Food taste was excellent, but some of it was cold. However, good service was seriously lacking.
Excellent food and service as always... I would suggest that CPH change up the menu...food is good but getting boring.
Excellent food, service and attention to seating you at your reservation time. Great place.
We were celebrating my daughter's new adventure! She is a Marine about to continue additional training. Brandon was fantastic, Mary at the wine bar was absolutely fantastic!
Everything was great
I have been there several times and enjoyed it very much. Last Saturday, a few hours after my lunch, I became very ill. I called the manager on Tuesday, he said nobody else made a claim, I was not making a claim only for information purposes. I emailed their corporate office and never received a response. The table service is great, wonderful atmosphere, the first time I’ve had a negative experience there.
