Always a great time at Cooper's! Great customer service! Awesome employees! Phenomenal bands!
Made reservation on open table and went there and said restaurant is closed for a private party. Nothing given as compensation. Incompetence at its peak. Happy New Year!
Did anyone else see that 🪰 or was it just me? Asking for a friend. Overall I felt a little let down the place wasn't as fancy as I thought.
First time here. Prices good for the amount of food. Live music was surprisingly good but loud. Would definitely recommend for a low key family meal.
Although they have signs posted that say mask required when not seated, crowds of people gathered in groups standing without masks, bartenders took their orders and didnt mention the need to wear mask, and people were over our shoulders and in close proximity without masks.
We had to leave early for our safety.
Our first time here after driving by many times, so we were excited to check it out. Sadly our excitement was overrated. While my meal was good, my husband's was not. He ordered the ribs and they were not good - they were tough and rubbery. He could hardly cut them off the bone and with plastic ware it was difficult.
Additionally our waiter was also mask patrol and was constantly having to ask people walking around, up dancing, and wandering from table to table to put their masks on.
Definitely more of a night club type of vibe with the live music.
We left very disappointed. Maybe post-covid things will be better, but again, we were very disappointed.
Good live bands all week long.
Really fun, live-music bar venue! Beautiful old waterside warehouse renovated with lots of original architecture still in place. Plenty of space to social distance at indoor bar/tables, very large open-air bar, too. The indoor dining area is really geared toward live music with professional lighting and audio booth. The band accommodated the Covid-19 early closing by starting at 7:15 p.m.
The menu is what you would expect from this style restaurant, with a wide selection of entrees, bar food choices and finger food. We started with the homemade cheesesteak spring rolls. They were thickly rolled and juicy, with a spicy dipping sauce. I had a seafood bucket that included shrimp, a lobster tail, roasted potato and corn on the cob. Delicious. My dining partner had the personal pizza. Very tasty and the crust had flavor and texture. No tap beers right now, but a nice selction of the standards and locally brewed IPA's (my personal favorite).
We hope to go back again soon!
Stopped by for lunch. Food options and tastes were fine. Service was sluggish. Place was almost completely empty so not much ambiance. However, we had planned to eat outside and found it too windy. We sat instead in an enclosed porch area where we were able to open the windows and satisfy our covid concerns. The river view was pleasant. Place may be much more inviting at happy hour.
Service was quick. The weather was nice so we could sit outside. Nice view
Still too many people without walking around with out masks.
Good wings. Interesting twist on some bar food menu items. College bar feel.
Halloween costume party
Nice people and atmosphere was awesome So happy with the place
There were way too many people not wearing it keeping their masks on!! Need to do a better job at taking care of that and actually kicking people out or not letting them I if they are wearing a mask.
Everything from service to food quality was horrible Restaurant was slow which doesn’t explain why it took 1.5 hours to get a burger and chicken wrap Stay away from this restaurant
Absolutely horrible service. Waited forever for everything. Never going back.
Rare “Date Nite” for us and we are happy we chose to come here. The food was good and the place was comfortable.
Expensive, bad service with nowhere nice to sit, bad experience!
Service was non existent waited to place drink order for 25 minutes finally had to order at the bar, never had a waiter come to the table the entire time we were there. I was not happy
Food was extremely greasy and the service was horrible.
Had an awesome time the band was excellent
We had a good time. The Seven Band was outstanding. We chose to snack on appetizers which were outstanding.
Service was a little slow however it was a super busy night! Food was great.....overall a nice experience!
Went to go see the Seven Band that was a great night with them but over all food was cold drinks were expensive & services was no good people try to take our table couldn't use the bathroom due to watching our table & seats
Food was not warm
Me and my family have the best time when we come to coopers. We have come every time the seven band has. Even there over the summer and the last time which was October 2 was the best thanks for allowing us to blow if some build up steam!
Was way too crowded. Tables were not 6feet
The live music was amazing. And the food was incredible. Excellent value. The best place to be during the virus.
Great view of the waterfront. Large Open windows allowed us to stay cozy inside but still feel like we were outside! Safety measures include only canned beer, disposable plastic ware & paper plates for food - Brussels sprout appetizer was one of the best we’ve had. We will be back soon!
Excellent food, amazing outdoor space and great music 🎶!
My friends and I won’t be returning until we can eat in real plates, have real silverware, and drink out of glasses instead of plastic.
It’s unfortunate, because the food and menu are pretty good.
Unfortunately the service was not great at all
Beautiful spot on the Delaware River. Wonderful views. Made reservations for Sunday brunch only to find that they are currently not serving brunch. That should have been communicated either on their website or when I called to make the reservation. But...the burger was good.
We enjoyed a really nice ladies night out on their deck. Our waiter was very attentive. The atmosphere is great, relaxing and meant to be outside dining. Drinks and food were casual but good. The only thing I would change is the disposable cups, they blew over in the breeze.
This is a nice location with high ceilings, huge windows, and an open deck area. The food is edible but seriously overpriced for what it is. Nothing was fresh. Everything looked and tasted factory-made. Drink's were overpriced considering the small portions. The service was very slow. If you are not interested in the live music, don't go because once they start, you can't hear yourself think, even if you are as far away as you can get.
I was hoping for a quiet dinner on the river with my family. This is clearly not the place for that.
Awesome night with great drinks, service and live music. Must do again.
Our reservation was for a Sunday at 3 pm. My greatest criticism is the continuation of a cigar event that began after our dinner had ended. The Corona virus is still with us but the crowd kept coming. Even though the event is outdoors, the afternoon was warm, none of the participants wore masks, there was no physical distancing and more and more people kept coming. We left. The food was very good and the ambiance and location was great but they could have used a higher quality of plastic utensils. Our table was sufficiently sanitized and the hostess and wait staff wore masks, which was a plus. I do recommend this restaurant, but do not go there after 3:30 on Sundays. Unless you’re attending the cigar event, which would, at best, potentially expose you to the virus.
Reservations not held even though we booked through Open Table. It did rain before and caused a great deal of confusion due Covid seating constraints. after waiting nearly an hour after initial reservation we were given a great seat along the river. However, our server was inattentive and the table beside us who were seated after we were got their appetizers first...in fact we never received ours (although they did take it off our bill). We were not given utensils so had to go get our own. We could not find our server to ask for the bill so bad to ask another server to track her down. We tried really hard to like this place because it’s a great building with a great location along the river and had a band. But the experience was very disappointing.
Booked on Open Table and they did not have reservation on entrance computer....informed it may go to main office but they do not get an updated daily copy???? 2nd experience here in pass month.
Service was ok. When I requested an old fashion for a drink I was informed “It’s COVID and i’’ll need to deal with what is offered” and was passed drink menu????
Nice ambiance and a beautiful view. Just don’t expect much from the staff for service or food. We had Chilean Sea basss tacos and wings both overcooked. We also had the shrimp and burger which was decent.
