   It started out as a disaster. The sign out front advertised grouper which I love. However, when we got inside our reservations were at Copper Cellar they said I could not order the grouper unless I was eating at cappuccinos. My husband, however, wanted prime rib and we can only order that at, Copper Cellar. I will say a very nice lady went out of her way. I think the manager and got us a very nice booth at the bar so all worked out well. Our young waitress at the bar, however, was not very attentive. The whole restaurant was very crowded and it was just not the atmosphere we are used to having at Copper Cellar.

   Dale, our waiter, was amazing!! While they didn't can't the Prime Rib I specifically went there for, the salmon was a good sub.

   We visited for the Sunday brunch. Our reservation was for 1:15 and they sat us pretty quickly. There was a good choice of foods but the quality was just average. They also ran out of prime rib and were very slow in getting waffle batter out, which seems like one of the easiest things to keep in stock. Overall just not worth the $27 price.

   Very nice experience, we arrived early and the hostess was able to seat us early. The noise level was low enough we could discuss business during dinner. Service was good. Atmosphere was relaxing. Overall good evening.

   Had the best veal chop I have had in years, while my wife enjoyed the grouper filet. Great food and service at a reasonable price, a tough combination to beat.

    Food was excellent for our party of 6. Our server was a little abrupt and not pleasant. Was efficient enough with food and drink delivery, but made no attempt to accommodate a special request. Second time we have had this server, and he has complained about how little money he makes each time. Just not a pleasant experience. We understand that the service industry is not easy, but we tried to be cordial and pleasant with our server, but it didn’t help his disposition!

    This is a local classic with a seventy's vibe. Food is always good with menu staples i.e. prime rib, steaks and grilled shrimp. Great bar.

    Good food but they are definitely understaffed. They let open tables stay uncleared and we thought our waitress forgot about us several times. The hostess was unfriendly, didn’t seem to actually greet or acknowledge anyone who came in, and didn’t update you on your reservation. Not a good first impression. Oh, they do play great music in the dinning room so that helped!

    Everything was fine. The food was good for the most part. I didn’t care for the Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar. The grilled shrimp was very good. Service was a bit slow. They didn’t seem busy enough for service to be that slow although there were many patrons there. We may give it another try.

    We go to the copper cellar on a regular basis. The food is always great and the service is always great. Both the Zacks are great servers. Dale is a great server. Kristi is also a great server The greatest part of copper cellar is they have a manager Bryan that is a great manager. He delivers food and comes out and talks to the customers and checks on them. That is rare in this day and time. The managers want to hide in the back. Our experience is always really great at the copper cellar west

    A little slow to get us seated for our reservation. Food was excellent and the Brussels Sprouts were exceptional, best we have ever had anywhere. We hope they become a mainstay on the menu! Zack was a great server, is is attentive and we love it when he waits on us.

    Busy on a Friday night with a wait. Glad I had made reservations earlier as we were seated promptly. Short staffed like every other business but Tamara was friendly and efficient. We ordered everything up front; drinks, appetizer and entree and Tamara kept everything coming smoothly, we did not feel rushed. Excellent Boursin filet and green beans with thyme.

    Everything was terrific, especially Julia's service! Only problem encountered was that the restaurant was "out" of Prime Rib at 6:30 pm. I had chosen the restaurant to enjoy the Prime Rib (as usual), but wasn't able to order it. Hopefully it will be available next time.

    Copper Cellar West never fails to provide a wonderful dining experience. I am sad to hear that the Original Copper Cellar Down Under on Cumberland Ave. will be closing in the future. As much as we enjoy the west location, Down Under holds a special place for me and my wife going back to our days as students at the University of Tennessee. "The Strip" will officially be gone when that iconic restaurant closes and my last reason for visiting that area will end.

    I hadn't been to the Copper Cellar - West in years and was excited to dine there. Our meal was good in general and our server was superb. I had ordered the NY strip steak and found it to be a little more fatty and grizzly than anticipated.

    One of my favorite restaurants to go to for delicious food. The restaurant has a beautiful relaxing ambience. I like that on Wednesdays the bottled wine is half off the cost.
