COPPERNOSE, The Mitre Hotel

So glad that this beautifully situated hotel has been renovated. We had a delicious meal, with excellent social distancing in place and friendly, efficient service. Decoration is light and bright and the Sunday menu had a good choice of meals including vegetarian options.

Coppernose was very lovely. I had a meal with my kids and they haven’t stopped raving about it since!

Lovely Sunday lunch!! Perfect views and food was excellent. Restaurant was warm and cosy. Would go back. May try 1665 as apparently same menu on Sundays? I think the Sunday lunch is much better than the dinner I ate recently (2 visits!) on the terrace. First time fish pie was very runny and 2nd time lamb was completely over cooked. And served with brown lentils which made the whole plate brown. Could maybe have put some colour on the plate. Although I had requested medium. Disappointed as had taken friends on both occasions. But highly recommend Sunday lunch.

The new decor is lovely and the service was very good. The food however, was a bit of a let down. I had the scrambled eggs and salmon, just comes on its own and is rather expensive. The portions were very small. My sister had fritters, avocado and salsa, there were 3 tiny cubes of avocado. The food definitely needs some improvement.

Brunch was quiet, but to be expected two days after coming out of the second lockdown.

Lovely Sunday roast - really delicious. Nice spot and pleasant atmosphere. Nice and well mannered service and good kids options. Would definitely return.

Unfortunately our food arrived cold & the roast potatoes were obviously cooked & reheated because they were tough & the bread sauce was watery.
The fruit crumble looked great but again almost cold with a very thin layer of crumble & the fruit was Al Dente! The custard came in a small jug half full again almost cold.
We thought it was too expensive for the standard so won’t be back I’m afraid .
They were not busy so it wasn’t because of being under pressure.
Very disappointing.

The Sunday roasts at the Coppernose are fantastic! Crunchy potatoes, huge Yorkshire puds, perfectly cooked meats and delicious veg. Top notch.

Great food and beautiful setting. Service was poor on the occasion we visited.

The most beautiful place to eat..lots of different restaurants to suit all tastes..stunning setting,amazing food,amazing service.Cannot wait to go back.

We had a table booked for 2.00pm - ordered drinks which came quickly which was great and then ordered our food.
The sunday lunch arrived approximately 1 minute after ordering which meant that we had no time to enjoy our apertifs.
The whole experience was over in 40 minutes.

I love this place but better for general food. Found the roast a little disappointing.

Outstanding food, beautiful environment with a garden feel and nice staff. I was told it has been recently refurbished. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back next time I am in the area.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch - the service and food were superb. Really professional staff and great food!

We sat down for dinner at 5:30pm and think that maybe it was a change in staff shifts as we had to wait a long time for the menu or any service. However this picked up and the food arrived super quick and was delicious. We sat with a good view of the river, if not a window seat. We will book again

Fabulous setting, decor, food. Love the all new Mitre!

It wasn’t great! 30 mins to take drink order. 45 mins to be given food menus. Waitress dropped wine over a table and another table waited 2 hours for food that turned up cold. I really wanted to like it but I’m afraid it ended up being funny it was so disasterous

Good food, somewhat lacking in atmosphere

well priced, simple menu and an easy London vibe on the river without the travel into town!

This was our first visit to Coppernose since the major refurbishment at The Mitre Hotel. The restaurant has a unique position, overlooking the Thames at East Molesey, just across the road from Hampton Court Palace. Views span from the Bridge to the Molesey Lock. We found the staff to be attentive, personal and professional. The menu had something for everyone but the Popcorn Cauliflower has to be tried. The burgers were deliciously generous and the lamb rump . . . wow! And the dessert board topped it all off.

Lovely birthday breakfast for my daughter. Very tasty and great presentation

I booked it for a special birthday and the restaurant positioned us near the window so had a great view of the river. Staff were Friendly, the food was delicious and we all had a great time. We weren’t rushed off our table and the service was very relaxing.

A lovely airy restaurant overlooking the River Thames at Hampton Court right by the bridge. Lovely decor and a pretty and unusual round shaped room with windows all the way round making it light and airy, even on a dull rainy day. Nice ambience. Good lunchtime food and very good service. Highly recommended for a light lunch.

Great Sunday lunch without being overly formal and excellent service. A really nice spot on the river and try and get a river view table.

Great food - prawn cocktail was especially good! Lovely spot for lunch with friends.

Food was excellent. Menu was confusing. All described as Mains but waiter had to warn us which were starter sized.

Really enjoyed it here. Nice feel to the place and very nice food - especially the cauliflower popcorn! Service a bit slow though, even ordering drinks, but it's early days with recent opening so hopefully that will improve. Wasn't so keen on them allowing dogs into the restaurant though - it's not a pub - especially when the owners of a large dog let it roam on a very long lead!

Food was okay, fish was overcooked, vegetables had no seasoning, quinoa salad was very bland, waiter was okay but not engaging enough, i waited a long time for my cappuccino. was a bit disappointed as i was really looking forward to eat there.

Beautiful views amazing staff and wonderful food... highly recommend!

The setting is just perfect although service is a little slow and the portion sizes at the Coppernose are quite small given the price of the dish.
