Corso: A Culinary Tour of Italy
The foods value for Money was ridiculous I had a caprese salad which eas $21 and it consisted of 1 small vine tomato and 3 small pieces of cheese. I’m gluten free and when I asked the server what my options were he didn’t seem very convincing, we only ate an app and has wine because nothing was being accommodating to my allergy for the main courses. We will not be retuning again.
With price price of the food, it didn’t compare with the quality of the food. We had the chefs three course meal, the pasta was ok, the oso bucco was re-heated and awful, and desert was dry. Over rated and way overpriced, very disappointing.
Very friendly staff and knowledgeable, very clean restaurant.
It was a great meal. Service was great and very quick. The atmosphere it lovely and the gnocchi is delicious. The only con is it is pricey, luckily since we stayed at the Hilton we got a coupon to get $20 off. It was worth the price as it is authentic Italian.
We expected the food to be authentic Italian food but was very disappointed with the quality of the food for the value. The menu is not extensive but yet still the entree item was not available. The server tried to tell us the substitution for the brazino was the same as cod fish, which is definitely not.
Service was fantastic, however the menu was a disappointment . The Gnocchi was terrible. It seemed overcooked and grainy. It is a very small menu so not much to choose from. The mushroom ravioli was decent but very small portions. We won't be back.
Although I appreciate your company hiring senior citizens, they need A LOT more training in order to serve at a place passing themselves off as high quality. On that note, a $19 salad should not be a bunch of wilted lettuce excessively covered in Kraft Cesar dressing! Also, it is a horrible ambiance to see a bunch of service staff running around like chickens with their heads cut off and accomplishing absolutely nothing, except for yapping over us and literally throwing garbage into a garbage can from a distance like they’re in a basketball court. This is NOT a high end restaurant, unless you think McDonald’s is high end, and if you do think that, then go to McDonald’s, it’s way better service, the food is appropriately priced and you know you’re getting. Lastly, this restaurant is the furthest thing from “A Culinary Tour of Italy”. You can get more “Italian” food from East Side Mario’s!
Food was NOT authentic Italian food and did not taste good. Their limited menu made the experience there even more disappointing.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely exquisite lobster ravioli.
Excellent food and service. A little pricey but worth it for a good meal.
Expensive dinner for a mediocre meal. I had hoped the pizza may be customizable for a kid size but no such luck. The bread was nice.
The food was mediocre barely any sauce or flavour for the gnocchi, the seasonal veg was extremely hard, my drink was pure salt, and they made their own tip of almost 40$. Quite ridiculous if you ask me! It was supposed to be a special birthday dinner and to say the least it wasn’t. The manager was also extremely rude and wouldn’t let us speak (talking over us) or give us an explanation as to why, and proceeded to point and stair at us as we walked outside, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! For a “fancy restaurant”.
Was ok. Nothing special.
Bread with meatballs wasnt great.
Wine serving very small
The food has been the best overall this trip. The service was amazing and fast. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Bed food for dinner, too much balsamic sauce at garden salad
Our family of 5 was their for dinner. All ordered pasta but 2 of the meals came over 30 min after the others. Basically 3 people were done eating before the other meals were served. Great food but terrible timing
Great food and great service
A very lovely dining experience enhanced by the fresh food and impeccable service. Our server Martin made sure we were well taken care of despite being quite busy, and his attention to detail made our anniversary dinner an evening to remember. What a fabulous gastronomic tour of Italy!
Corso was absolutely amazing food and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for great Italian food.
-Pizza was comparable to grocery store frozen pizza
-Meatballs were good, sauce was mediocre
-gnocchi was overcooked mushy, sauce was mediocre
-dessert was good with nice presentation..had the roche/Nutella plate
-nice ambience, great location
Great food. All 3 people really enjoyed the meals and the wine. Service was exceptional.
Food was OK at best and was overpriced.
They bring the food out quickly, which can be good if your in a rush but not good when you want to enjoy an evening out, from the time we sat down to the time the bill came was 40 minutes, this includes dessert.
When the bill comes, theres an $11.95 "Local Fee" tacked on, I was told that this is a standard fee tacked onto all bills in Niagara Falls. I asked that it be taken off as I'm local to Niagara Falls and I will not pay it, the Manager took it off the bill.
I'm not afraid of spending money on a good meal but this place was disappointing. For the money they're charging, there are places that offer better food and more options at this price point. Theres a reason that Brassa (upstairs) was full and this place was relatively empty.
Terrible food. Sent back 3 out of 4 meals. Extremely overpriced. $32 for not even a handful of gnocchi. Do not recommend.
Food was great, great ambiance, but I had an issue, I ordered a 9 oz glass of wine and was given a 5 oz glass of wine and charged for a 9 oz glass of wine. When I brought it up, the waiter insisted it was a 9 oz glass of wine.
Overall it was mostly good, but spoiled by the waiter error. It’s the principal of the matter, charge me what you give me. $300 meal and drinks spoiled by difference in price of 5oz and 9oz glass of wine, which was $20.
service de Socha, etait digne des plus grands restaurant!!6/5
Nourriture A1, merci à l'équipe de la cuisine, belle presentation.
Food was very bland and expensive. Service was great but overall not really worth the price
For the price, this place was surprisingly (and unfortunately) casual. People in T-shirts, shorts and flip flops on a Saturday night… We enjoyed our dinner but everything was well over priced. I can’t believe how little the Caesar salad was for almost $20. Our server was delightful but it still took an exceptionally long time to get water to the table. Starters and cocktails were already served before we got water… We noted that it was our anniversary when we booked, mentioned when they asked what the occasion was (we were dressed quite formally compared to the tourists at the tables around us) and nothing. Bit disappointing, actually.
Oh, and they don’t do the prix fixe they mention on their website anymore. Just the chefs special version for $80/person. I get the feeling this place was better pre-COVID and are now just trying to recoup losses by overcharging and under delivering.
To expansif for what you got !
Exterieur terrasse was not quiet and basic.
Food received very good but way to expensive for what was received.
Definitely not a culinary tour of Italy. Quite the opposite actually. Food quality equal to Olive Garden. Save yourself the disappointment.
The pizza is amazing! Can't stop talking about it! Also got the gnocchi and the seafood linguine which were also very good but couldn't match up to the pizza. Will definetely be back!
They just had reopened last night and still were trying to manage all the workload but I think they did a great job! The ambiance, the food and service were excellent. The restaurant is accessible from the Hilton hotel, so very convenient for us. We ordered Salmon, Stake and Ravioli as well as some starters, wine and cocktails and we all liked the foods and drinks.
Wow. This truely had to be the best meal I had in the time at Niagara Falls. The server was so nice and they give you large portions so definitely justifies the price tag. It was also very fancy and fun! Definitely recommend!!!
Food is not the greatest. Server kept forgetting what we ordered. Big portions however
Our server zak was very good. The food was great, quick and flavourful .
Had the 3 course meal, large portion of calamari was served, enough for sharing, had the Seafood Linguine, it was also generous, the best was the chocolate cake! Served with fresh berries, a touch of mint, a very nice way to finish my meal. I also had a margarita t drink.
The service was exceptional and the food was delicious.
We had two kids with us and nothing was too much when it came to our table.
Definitely will go back.
It is a C for dining. Parking was horrible, you will drive around before calling to see where the hell parking it. Turns out you go through the Hilton parking and let them know you dining there. After circling a few times and going through the Hilton parking you get directed to overflow parking up the road and have to drive towards the Tim Hortons and than walk back down again. Mediocre food at best for the prices and limited overpriced menu. Go to a smaller family run and get better food for less money.
Must try, you won't be disappointed.
Sav our server was great. The servings are generous and the food taste fabulous. I will definitely be returning for another one of my their awesome dishes.
