I thought the price of the steak frites was steep and paying extra £3 for frites was ridiculous. The £3 supplement on the menu was not clear. Overall I was rather disappointed in the standard of the food and wine was expensive. I have always felt the stand of food was consistently good but I won't be coming back for steak frites in a hurry.

We both throughly enjoyed our meal. The temperature outside was really hot, so we were delighted that almost everything was on the menu - really appreciated the extra effort the chefs had gone to.

We had a great evening with super tasty food. The staff were attentive and friendly and the restaurant had a gentle buzz to the atmosphere.

Very warm welcome on arrival, and really pleased with our lunch experience. The restaurant was quieter than usual due to an issue with gas (for cooking) the previous day. However, I was really impressed that the manager had called the day previous to say there might be an issue (there wasn’t), which had resulted in some diners electing to eat elsewhere. Kudos to Cote for doing that, even though it means it was quiet on Thursday.

Food was good however service was awful with many items being forgotten. We ended up leaving early.
