Cotoletta Fitler Square
Really delicious chicken piccata + stuffed long hots
The Chicken Milanese was the best in the city! The espresso martini was delicious and made perfectly. We tried the limoncello and it was incredible. The servers and bartenders are extremely nice and welcoming. 100% would recommend anyone to go here! They really do a fantastic job with all of there dishes and cocktails.
One of our favorite neighborhood spots. Taylor was our server and he was phenomenal.
We sat outside, which was fine but the air was dead and somewhat warm and lots of mosquitoes. Would have been nice to switch out all the tall heating units for fans to cool
the air and blow away the bugs.
The food was very disappointing. No imagination, just a bunch of Ingredients thrown into a bowl. I ordered the shrimp FRA diavolo. I had to cut off the tails myself, the flavor was so-so, the spaghetti noodle was not suited to the dish (too heavy a noodle- linguine would have balanced better) and the worst was being given a shaker of packaged Parmesan cheese, instead of fresh shaved cheese, which should have been offered and not what I had to request.
Overall, it tasted and looked like I was eating at my grandmother’s house and she wanted to pile the bowl full of diced tomatoes, pasta and shrimp.
The bottle of wine we wanted wasn’t available, nor was there dessert.
I wanted to love this local restaurant and support them, but not for $160 for 3 people.
FANtastic. We were a fan of their suburban location so we wanted to try the city. It was even better. We went with a Milan salad and of course The Stack with side of greens. Highly recommend. It is nice they now have a full bar as well.
Can't say enough positive things about your front line staff. Polite, attentive, timely, and above and beyond the call of duty by running two blocks to return my forgotten credit card. Service was great, food a tad spotty. My glass of Tempranillo suggested the bottle should have been retired a couple of days ago, although it was not fully bitter. The Antipasto tray was great and hit the spot. The Ziti was undercooked and a bit more al denté than one might expect. But overall a nice evening and staff impeccable.
Great vibes and really friendly atmosphere. Gorgeous location next to Fitler Square Park!
Great outdoor space.
Ordered a dish off menu shrimp with veg asparagus, roasted peppers , onions
What came was different - had green beans , no peppers
Told waiter and he argued with us that there were peppers in dish
I said ok but there is no asparagus or onions
Finally took dish away didn’t offer to remake etc
Later came and apologized by saying was a new chef and he was doing something different
We had a wonderful meal. And we spoke at great length with the owners daughter Sammy and her sister. Terrific family values. Terrific food. Friendly atmosphere. This little corner restaurant is a real gem
A friend recommended that we dine here while visiting from out of town. The restaurant was a little more casual than we had expected, but it was still a great experience. A tip for those unfamiliar with the term: "long hots" are spicy chili peppers, so only order them if you like spicy food! They are part of the Cotoletta Stack (house specialty), and my husband and I were not expecting the dish to be as spicy as it was. Fortunately, we are big fans of spicy food, so it was a pleasant surprise, but hotter than we had anticipated. All in all, we enjoyed our dining experience at Cotoletta Fitler Square and would recommend it for those looking for a casual, American-Italian meal.
Cute restaurant with great drinks, wonderful service and welcoming staff
Looking forward to going back, soon! The food was delicious.
Considerate and friendly staff, great service, excellent food and drinks. Perfect spot for a date night! Would recommend
Food was amazing! Love that it’s in the quiet hood of grad hospital
Started with a very delicious espolon margarita on the rocks. Followed by mussels in garlic white sauce, and the Greek salad.
Both very delicious. Entries included eggplant Parm and veal parm with side of al dente rigatoni’s. Arrived piping hot, thin patties and you can just tell it is freshly prepared. One of our favorite places, consistently delish!
Due to rainy weather, we decided to eat inside. Our server was excellent. She took our orders and served them in a timely manner. Cocktails were excellent. We all had cutlets with one person ordering “the stack,” which was delicious.
We had espresso after dinner and shared a slice of lemon cake which was a great ending.
This was the first dinner for this little group since the pandemic and the setting was perfect.
Cottoletta stack was delicious! Great ambiance
Great food, great service, great people . Definitely coming back.
This was our first out and about restaurant experience in well, seems like forever but likely not any longer than anyone else's in these times. It was also our first visit to Cotoletta. I chose the restaurant after walking by many times with my dog, the background of the park, it's walkability to my home and I don't know, just the feel of it - we were 'out to eat' but it felt like we were at home together. We had a well informed and encouraging waiter who was a good conversationalist as well - with the gift of being able to 'read' his tables. The food was delicious, well prepared and well paced. My friend and I bakers of a sort rarely have dessert out and she is a sales rep for GFI which carries a line of delicious desserts. Ever the sales person, she wanted to see if the the lemon marscapone 'cake' we ordered was one of her products (rather than house made). It was, but that did nothing to take away it's deliciousness - there was not a smear of lemon curd left on the plate.
Thank you, I am new to Philadelphia and sharing a Pandemic fast breaking meal with my daughter and best friend at an untried restaurant was a big risk, but as mentioned, there was just a 'feel' about the place which proved to be more than true. Returning? Without a doubt.
Lovely family restaurant with great food!
Best Cutlets and great atmosphere! We love having this restaurant in the neighborhood!
Not our first time and definitely not our last!! Love this spot and everything about it!
Amazing chicken parm!
The food is delicious and would highly recommend this neighborhood gem. I only have positive things to say
One of the best chicken parmesan dinners I’ve had. Great service and outdoor seating with a beautiful view of a beautiful park across the street.
Apps were good, the chicken Parma was good, but the seafood special was very bland and over priced. The velvet covered chairs are out dated and the table was sticky. The service was very good.
Food just okay, expensive for the product. Service just okay.
The food took 2 hours to come to us and was not worth the wait.
First but definitely not last visit to this lovely restaurant! Wonderful cuisine deliciously prepared, and prompt, friendly service. Lots of personal attention. And the setting just across the street from Fitler Square is lovely, a nice break from center city. Overall a wonderful dining experience!
Food was made to order,so it took a little longer. But once our entree arrived it was amazing! The chicken parmigiana was the best I’ve ever had!! Highly recommended!!
Love this restaurant!
We first tried this restaurant during COVID - we were trying various places at the time in hopes of showing support. We were very impressed and told everyone. We finally came back and we were not disappointed. The service was great as was the menu - specials and food. We were quite pleased this place « survived!
Pandemic dining on the sidewalk. But the food was very good. A bit oversubscribed but would go back again. Knowledgeable wait staff, particularly for the wine. The wait was long, a bit too long to wait for a table when we have a reservation and then for wine and between courses.
Would not have been an issue if I wasn’t wearing a down jacket in early May. Definitely go. Nice food. Nice folks.
Do not go here! Horrible service. Extremely rude! Would not recommend today any one!
Rittenhouse prices for diner-style service and mediocre food.
Found a last minute reservation here on a gorgeous Saturday, absolutely great spot for a relaxing night out. Delicious food and friendly service right next to the park.
We had David as our server - he was attentive, helpful and funny! Food was very good too - as usual! Def recommend Cotoletta!
We love coming to Cotoletta! It’s a weekly staple in our household. Great local restaurant with large portions and yummy Italian food (cutlets are my favorite) and great drinks. Highly reccomend
