   For an appetizer consisting of 5 dates, maybe six spoonfuls of soup total between 2 orders, 1 glass of wine and a tiny salad that took almost an hour to receive, the bill was $73. Great vibe, but the worst value for your money.

   The happy hour specials are a relative bargain in an otherwise pricey restaurant. The $10 burger special would have been delicious had it been cooked properly, which it wasn’t. In a restaurant of this caliber and reputation, I would expect a burger asked to be cooked medium to be an easy thing. Apparently not. My requested medium, came to the table medium rare, my husband ordered medium well, came out medium. The kitchen needs to get their act together. At 6:00, the restaurant was empty, and for good reason, we won’t be back.

   My husband and I love this restaurant and eat here frequently. This was a birthday occasion for a friend of ours that is not as adventurous with her palate. It was a great opportunity for us to open her eyes to a number of appetizers that she never would have chosen on her own and then she was able to eat a chicken entree that was familiar and delicious as well.

    Great restaurant! Very bright inside. The service was excellent, and we felt very tended to. They had a lot of brunch options. Their french toast was incredible—the guava syrup was different but very delicious. Highly recommend this place!

    Excellent service - menu items change regularly which is a nice. The pairings were amazing - we ordered the sampler flight of appetizer, oysters, a salad and the duck. Everything was fresh - presentations outstanding. Higher end - you won’t be disappointed if you enjoy nouveau riche type dining.

    I've been to counter culture a few times. They have a great well priced menu. The food is always delicious and the portions are generous. Staff is great, everything is made to order so you can ask for substitutes if needed. On my last visit it was my birthday and they even bought our some complimentary donuts! Cute touch and they tasted delicious. Definitely my favorite spot for brunch in Tampa!

    Gathered to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday.. Thankfully had reservations as this place was hopping, it added to the beautiful energy though. We were seated immediately and greeted by our friendly server. Our palette was tempted by the chef offering a sample of a very special pancake, 3 little bites and I was salivating for more. The main course did not disappoint and because this was a special bday event the meal ended with yummy doughnuts. I will return and bring more of my friends

    The appetizers were amazing and we were really looking forward to dinner, but the entrees we got were all just ok. For example, my scallops were dry and over cooked, but the sides were very tasty.

    Food is always great here! I got the special 3 course brunch menu and it was delish! The brunch cocktails are always tasty and strong! Be patient as everything is made or order and worth the wait!! It’s a perfect time of year to sit at the bar and enjoy the Beautiful view of Bayshore and nice weather while having brunch.

    We found this place on google because of the great reviews and it is well deserved. Every person we interacted with was wonderful and so accommodating (we had a group of 8). The drinks were wonderful and the food was even better. I would highly recommend this place.

    The food was great at Counter culture. We loved the biscuits and morning bread. Brunch was great. The mushroom tacos were fun, tasty and pretty salty. When we sat down for our reservation at 1:30 pm it took 15 minutes for a server to come and help us out. I asked the hostess if we were going to be helped soon and they jumped on it after we patiently waited a while. Overall, I would love to come back. Just need to pick up on the service a bit more as food came out we need plates to share and water refills.

    The restaurant is very chic and has a great vibe, unfortunately we had the worst table in the place. Didn’t stop us from enjoying the evening though. Our waiter was attentive and food came out in a timely way. I was really hopeful for some outstanding food but it was pretty bland. We did have a well cooked steak that was delicious. Presentation was beautiful though and my mom really liked all the micro greens sprinkled in everything. We brought our own bottle of wine and they decanted it for us which was nice.

    We love Counter Culture brunch Everyone is always so nice. Food came out fast and hot We never feel rushed and just overall love the ambiance. Haven’t been for dinner but always enjoy their brunch.

    We went for brunch last year and it was outstanding. We went for lunch this year and weren't wowed. My hubbies burger was undercooked and overseasoned (think powdered spice mix and salt). My friend had breakfast ala carte, very simple, didn't remark about it. I had the shrimp and crab greens salad. There were only two medium shrimp and about a quarter size crabmeat if that. Very lightly dressed. Delish but for $23 expected a bit more substance. I live here so yes, I know the price of seafood. The wait staff was attentive. Don't want to be negative but has something changed?

    I love coming here! The drinks and food are unique. I love ordering the oysters and the “Dill with It” drink. The service is ALWAYS great. I love the servers and bar backs. Weather was perfect.

    Counter culture had a great selection of brunch/breakfast food. We had the coconut pecan morning bread with butter & jam, Chile roasted wild mushroom quesabirria tacos and the Homemade corned beef hash. Each dish was plated beautifully and tasted amazing. Our server Izzy was great and made sure to explain each selection on the menu giving us the best recommendations. I would highly recommend!

    While the ambience was great the service was minimal. After taking our order we never saw our waitress again, I had to flag down a manager to order a soda. Portions were small compared to cost. This is another I won’t return to!

    Had a awesome time at Counter Culture Tuesday. My wife was traveling on business so I sat at the bar. Great service - well mixed cocktail and very helpful advice on menu choices. The food was outstanding. Definitely coming back again (next time with my wife).
