Craft & Commerce
Great ambiance, attentive service, fair price. Definitely a "go to" place.
The bone marrow and octopus were excellent, didn’t love the broccolini. Overall great food and service. Highly recommend!
Asked to push back reservation due to late flight arrival and the hostess went out of her way to accommodate us on a busy Friday night
Our new favorite place in San Diego
Entertaining friend from Phoenix
Service was perfect. Food was good.
Great service, seated promptly, food was pricy but delicious. We would have stayed longer but opted to relocate for cheaper drinks.
Our server Becca remembers us every time, she’s the best!!! And she’s always super knowledgeable about the food and drink menu!
It’s always a delightful ambience . Gorgeous fire top tables to dine on.
From the cocktail list to the exquisite foods like bone marrow and pork belly Brussel sprouts.
End the night in the speak easy Tiki bar in back is a total must do.
It was a cool atmosphere but nothing special about the food. And don't expect to have a mixed drink with vodka. Apparently their full bar does not include vodka because it is "not a refined spirit for making cocktails"
Food and waitress Amy were fantastic! Wait time for food was pretty long. Almost 45 min after ordering. We weren’t in a hurry so it was ok.
My fiancé and I ord
Burger had zero flavor but the fries were delicious. We ordered several small plates and they were all just ok. Drinks were good.
Great food, great ambiance, friendly service. One of the go-to places for brunch. I am sensitive to saltiness, this place serves food with perfect level of saltiness. My vegetable omelette was perfectly flavored, and perfect portion.
Fun place with well-prepared dishes. One of the few (for SoCal) places open later-than-10pm.
Hip cocktail bar with great food. Awesome vibes, cool atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a night out.
I’ve been here a handful of times before and this time did not disappoint! Came for a birthday and had a nice dinner with small bites and entrees (would recommend the apps) at the fire. Great service!
First time at Craft & Commerce and will be returning for more. Great service, food, and ambiance. Would recommend to others.
Had a party of 10, and they were able to accommodate us. Great food, great drinks, great service! The carne asada Benedict is my favorite, but everything is exceptional.
I´ve been twice to Craft and Commerce and the vibe is so Good! Very cool place!
Great service and amazing food.
Had a reservation scheduled for 8:45. Upon arrival, I was told by a hostess that the place was running behind on reservations, so we were free to grab a drink at the bar in the meantime. After about 20 minutes of waiting and having to check in with a different hostess to see where things were at, we were finally seated.
Our table was directly located next to the open bar, which was extremely noisy and distracting and made any conversation difficult. Having to wait a little more than expected for a table was a hurdle, but the noise from the open bar killed the mood of the night more than anything else.
We were not greeted by any particular server for another 20 minutes. By then, it was already close to 9:30, 45 minutes after our original reservation time and we still had not placed an order. We managed to get our order in after flagging down a server and finally continue our dinner as we had hoped.
Throughout the course of our dinner, just looking around made it evident that the establishment was a bit understaffed this night. The look of frustration was apparent on the faces of other patrons and the staff themselves looked fairly stressed and flustered. I've heard great reviews about this place before and I'm sure we just came on an off night but after an experience like this, it's hard to want to come back and give Craft & Commerce another try.
Service was awful as we had to ask where our waiter went! He stopped serving us.
Great food and service. Happy hour was awesome!
Always fun to stop by here for some goodies. Highly recommend the bone marrow, half chicken, and Brussel sprouts. Sucks that the menu sometimes changes so they dont always have what you want but thats just a fun excuse to always come back.
First time and I was impressed by the service of the bartending staff and later the dinner serving team. Very attentive and welcoming. Food was pretty good. Overall, it was great experience with my friends.
The weather was perfect for a night here. I tried a few different cocktails and they were all delicious. Highly recommend!
Great place / the Kombucha beer was yummy / burger decent / a lot of taxidermy for a PETA state / probably not the place for vegans/vegetarians
I’d recommend this eatery to friends. It’s in a great location of little Italy/downtown San Diego. The signature cocktails were amazing and food was on point. Thanks for the pleasant experience!
Great place for drinks! Not many options for food. The fire that sits in the middle of the table was a great experience but we had to ask them to turn it off because it flamed so high and we couldn't have a conversation around it. I would go back just for the drinks and brussel sprouts not for a meal.
Overall, great experience. Menu is a bit limited and they don’t have specials available , but food was good !
New cocktails were great!
C&C is a long time favorite. Get there for happy hour and try two buck sliders and their signature old fashioned cocktail.
Fun place to go if you're interested in exotic foods and a cool atmosphere! Will certainly be revising this lovely little hideaway!
Food and ambiance is there. Not the best value for the price, ended up ordering pizza delivery later at home because I was still hungry. Also seating on the patio was extremely cold and when ready to leave due to being cold it took a while to get the bill. Hence a solid 3 stars.
Great food. Great cocktails. Great service. And the bathrooms are hilarious.
Great spot for ambience, excellent service & fresh food. Our group had an awesome time - drinks were small but well made. The drawback is the very limited menu - the meat selections are excellent for a carnivore but vegetarian selections are too extreme. Maybe throw a mac n cheese or marinara pasta on there for a picky eater in the group.
This review is for the restaurant, not the speakeasy
Four of us, reserved a table for dinner via OpenTable and reached the place a few minutes before our reservation time. The hostess immediately seated us in comfortable seats, fireside. Besides our waitress, various people from the staff stopped by our table with food, drinks and water and every single person was really warm and nice. The food was amazing (Eggplant Dip, Roasted Broccolini, Roasted chicken, the tart and the fetuccini) and so we're the drinks (Something Spicy and Emily's Vault). We had a great time and would most likely return :)
Best craft drinks anywhere. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The food is terrific especially loving the Brussel sprouts and Burger. My favorite drink is the old fashion and a special lemon and ginger non alcoholic drink they make special, since I’m usually the driver. It’s our favorite restaurant in San Diego. We make special trips to come out since we live in North Counry.
This restaurant was great! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice. There are small, tabletop fireplaces on the tables on the patio area. There is also a hidden speakeasy at the back of the restaurant that we visited and had some drinks. Standing room mostly as it was a Saturday and very busy. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant again. Thank you for the great service!
