Creole de Graw
The food here is OUTSTANDING! Love the NOLA flair. Have always had a great experience. We prefer going to brunch there there over other restaurants because of the home cooked and fresh food. Also who doesn’t love a Bloody Mary bar!
Food was excellent. Best Ettoufe that I have ever had, including New Orleans. My wife loved her fish.
Would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Enjoyed the food, it was really good. It was refreshing having different preparations of food. I would highly recommend the pork belly! Service at one point got a little slow but I was catching p with friends so I didn’t seem to mind so much.
Great food and sorry I don't remember our servers name but he was excellent.
Wait staff congregating near our table were making comments that were unprofessional. Service slow but waitress was very nice.
The service was excellent and the server was very attentive, she checked on our table several times to make sure that things were good. The food was great as well, I will be returning soon
Food was delish. It is good Creole food... had me reminiscing of New Orleans. My friends and I were on a girls trip that weekend. We were visiting Harve De Grace from Philadelphia, New Jersey and Maryland and had never been to the area. We went for first Friday and had a great time. There was live jazz band. I would definitely go again and would recommend. Good food. Good value. Good vibes.
Every single bite was delicious! Waitress was really great!
We went for Sunday brunch. It did not seem overly crowded but we waited longer than necessary for our drinks from the bar. We had placed an appetizer order with our drink order and it took forever to come. We wanted to wait and see what the appetizer looked like to judge whether we went with a lighter or heavier entree option. We were there for an enjoyable meal, we weren’t in a rush. We eventually figured out that was an awful idea and went ahead and placed the order. When the appetizer did come, about 45 min in, we were told that the kitchen was backed up. We still weren’t quite sure why, based on the number of patrons. It was an hour and a half from arrival to when our entrees came and it was the wrong food. We ended up leaving at that point.
If our server had been more attentive and more informative about the situation, it wouldn’t have been nearly as frustrating an experience.
Best Creole outside of NOLA I have had in a long time! The waiter suggested I get the protein medley with my Red Beans and Rice which turned out to be the best choice! Plentiful seafood, fresh taste with seasonings spot on, not to hot definitely flavorful. I just wish we lived closer so we could visit again soon.
On Saturday Sept 28th was my first time at Creole de Graw and I was pleasantly surprised. The food and service(waitress Kelly) was OUTSTANDING!!! I have dined in a lot of restaurants throughout Maryland and the food and service at Creole de Graw was fantastic!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.............and I will DEFINITELY be back!
This was our second visit to Creole de Graw and definitely won't be our last! The food makes us feel like we're back in NOLA (without the flight). We treated a friend to his birthday dinner and he enjoyed it so much, he returned again 3 days later. I expect you'll be seeing all of us back soon. The service, bar and friendly staff are also top-notch!
I dine at CdG several times a month food and service is always excellent.
all was good. waiter could have checked on us more
Excellent menu, food and service.
TAble service just to get our appetizers/starters was slow.
First time here the food was excellent! The waiter was very attentive and enthusiastic. Will definitely return.
Seating was somewhat crowded with chairs pinned against table next to us. Seemed to be understaffed which resulted in slow service. Food was good but not exceptional.
We had an enjoyable time. Service and food were excellent. The onion soup and etouffe was exceptional. We'll definitely be bzck.
I met my son there for dinner. The waitress was friendly and informative, and we both enjoyed our meals. We tried a bit of everything including some special appetizers and sides that were different than the usual cajun faire. The little corn muffins with cinnamon honey butter were a great surprise. It's a fun atmosphere, not white tablecloths, which in my mind is perfect for a night of cajun food. I'm hoping to get back on a Thursday night for live music because I bet it's a great time.
Food was average at best but it was great to be at a Cajun restaurant outside of the bayou. The service (Kelly) was excellent and well worth giving the food another try!
My wife does not like Cajun food but I do. She had the crab cake and said it was good. The also have a pasta meal with choice of protein.
My etouffe with crab was excellent.
I highly recommend the Creole de Grace.
The beignets were phenomenal. The gumbo a tad salty, etouffee was amazing, the jambalaya I've cooked better. Overall, the staff was very attentive, and exceeded every need we had. Food was excellent for not being in New Orleans.
We came in early on a Friday night, exhausted from a tough drive from DC in lots of traffic. Well the driver was tired —I was empathy-tired.
We had a large chopped salad, the gumbo, as well as blackened salmon. The gumbo was consistent and delicious. The chopped salad was not the usual presentation, as the bacon and cheese were mixed in with the onions on top, but it was very good. The salmon was so good, with the blackened herbs assertively driving just an incredible taste. Mixed vegetables were delicious. We cleaned up our plates.
My minor comments are that the chairs are wood with no cushioning on the seat. For some of us this is tough on our sore tailbones. The server was so good and intuitive—
I have thought that the menu, being creole, is somewhat limited. I should stop thinking of it this way as we always manage to find something.
The service was atrocious. We arrived a few minutes early for a 730 reservation on Friday evening. We were seated but five minutes later turned out to be either Matthew ,h That was a check. Sydney be right back with us to get our drink 10 minutes later he returned because he had forgotten to drink orders. That was just the start of lots of issues with service. The food was pretty good I had a crabcake it was delicious the person dining with me and Solomon with what we supposed to be a problem. On top of it. They got an entirely different sauce on top of the salmon
At 8:45 I requested the check and at 9:10 I got the check paid and my change. The restaurant was very noisy , other patrons appeared to be having the same issues. I sought out a manager but no one accepted the responsibility for being the manager.
Good food. Terrible dining experience. The waiter made weak excuses for the failure to perform however he stood within five feet of me talking with an apparent regular customer when I attempted to get the check.
I’ll never return or recommend this plsce
My husband and I had a gift card to Creole de Graw, so we decided to check it out. We went more to experience First Friday in Havre de Grace for the first time. We arrived at Creole at 7:20. We were not served until after 8:30. My husband got ribs, delicious! Collard greens were too spicy for him to eat. I got fettuccini with chicken in a rose sauce. Chicken was delicious. Sauce was overwhelming. Our bad for not knowing that First Friday wraps up at 9:00, but we didn't think we'd wait more than an hour for ribs and pasta. We missed just about everything in town, including the ice cream shops which we hoped to stop in for dessert. Because of that, though, we got two delicious desserts at Creole. Pecan bourbon pie, and key lime pie. Yum! With different expectations, I'm sure we'll be back.
Awesome food. They need to be able to make a proper Hurricane. Bartender said they do not carry the mix. Otherwise, the food was amazing.
Truly delicious creole fare in an unassuming and casual place. Wait staff was iffy. We interacted with two. One spoke way too loudly and one (ours) must have been high because she forgot everything. Both very friendly though, so all good. I’d go again.
Nice atmosphere, good food, reasonably priced, what more could you ask for? The service was great, they even brought me a fresh crab cake because the chef felt that mine was burnt on the bottom. It was actually fine, and it was nice to have a delicious crab cake for lunch the next day. The Maitre D went above and beyond by chasing us down the street to give us all the things we left at the table, our leftovers, a water bottle, and a cell phone. Great place, Enjoy!
Fantastic food and great server!!!!
All the dishes were good except crayfish on my plate wasn’t fresh little disappointing but next time I’d love to try Jambalaya.
We dine here often because the food is exceptional and the service far exceeds our expectation - every time. Request Matt or Sam for a wonderful dining experience.
The food was amazing and our sever could not have done a better job
Servers were friendly and energetic. Food quality was outstanding and delicious. Well worth the visit. Chef even came to our table and chatted with us about his recipes. Fantastic evening.
A must stop if you’re a fan of creole.
Best brunch with drinks, excellent Sea Food choices, and friendly service to ensure your satisfaction
Amazing food time and again! Shrimp and grits is to die for! Better than New Orleans or Charleston combined!
If you want authentic Creole or Cajun food without having to go to New Orleans, Creole de Graw is the place to go. Everyone in my group that had the Red Beans and Rice or Etouffee raved about their dishes. I recommend the Key Lime Pie for dessert. Karla, thank you for patiently answering our questions about the menu and the draft beers, and for your attentive service.
My group enjoyed their meals, except me. Alfredo sauce had a sour taste to it. Overall, good restaurant but do not order the chef’s pasta.
