The martinis were great but the service was very poor there was only one person doing the bar and waiting tables While the bar tender was very nice it took almost an hour to get our food and it was just apps and the order wasn’t even complete! very disappointed in the quality of service we had to eat quickly (not enjoyable) to make it to the show on time and our reservation was 2 hours before the show! 🤕
Food was great. Service was fair. There was only one server for the tables. She did her best. It was very difficult for her to try and give good service with no one to help her
Same person was the bartender and waitress. She needed help. She was the only person working out front.
The espresso martini was top notch. Our server was nice!
Great food drinks and super friendly service!
Not a great dining experience, might be fun for drinks but I would not recommend eating here!!!
Great service. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were disappointed there was a limited menu, we were not aware of this before we came in. The items we did order were great though and we will be back soon.
The food was good but the service was beyond slow. They need to provide the staff more help.
A trendy, urban chic little joint in the heart of Chippewa district. The dinner menu is mostly small plate and hand foods, but there are some entrees as well. The food quality was very good, great Kale Caesar and the wasabi fried chicken sandwich was pretty awesome. It's definitely more bar atmosphere than restaurant, but a great casual meal.
Fantastic. Nothing more can be said.
Fantastic. Nothing else needs to be said.
Our dinner was a work of art. It’s NOT a Chippewa bar, it is fine dining. Missing D-Tour is missing a Buffalo gem.
Give this a try if you haven’t yet, we were very pleasantly surprised by our meals, everyone loved them! Hadn’t been before so didn’t know what to expect but the food was very good!
After going through some changes, we were concerned that the restaurant wouldn’t maintain the incredible quality of food. They have. Staff is still exceptionally engaged, friendly, efficient and fun. Atmosphere is both relaxed and upbeat. D-Tour remains a gem that flies under the radar. We have yet to be disappointed and in fact, are typically wowed.
We had reservations, we waited 10 mins at the door until a hostess arrived. Once seated, they expressed there were out of some items, they just lost their chef and that a party of 50 unexpectedly walked in before us. We waited almost an hour for our food and we ended up being late for a show. On the positive side, the server was great, the food was delicious, they gave us a shot and a free drink when there and a chip for a free drink when we come back. We are planning on going back, it may have been a case of bad luck for them so we'll give them another shot.
Drinks were great. Very disappointed in the food. Bison meatballs and salmon were partially undercooked. They were nice enough to take 20% off the bill. Service was great. However, I think if we return it will only be for drinks.
A consistently fantastic and profoundly underutilized restaurant and bar. It’s an unknown haven for great food, fantastic service, engaged and friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. We can’t say enough about the chef, bartenders or management. Casual dining, a date, drinking or just relaxing, it is absolutely the place to go.
Really fantastic food! Highly recommend the artichoke dip and tuna tacos. The small plates are great to pair and share for the table.
The service was amazing, our server was Matt, he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the tuna tacos which were amazing. 3 of my family members had the salmon and they are still talking about it. I highly recommend this place!
Food was very good, service was excellent. Ambience lacked coziness... but then again it is a bar first.
The food was great, but the noise in the restaurant was so loud that it was difficult to hear my companion.
Can’t overstate the quality of food or the effort of the staff to make your visit memorable.
Excellent all around! Gem in the heart of theater district. Food and drink menu choices were unique with fresh ingredients and excellent flavors. A new favorite - worth a trip downtown on a non-show night.
This is much more than a martini bar. They have a small open air kitchen with an energetic chef that cranks out delicious meals which are served by an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. Check it out!
Excellent for pregamimg before Sheas! Menu has a little bit of everything! Fabulous drink specials! Service was quick so we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal & get to the show on time
We loved this place. We were met at the door and nicely greeted and the service was awesome. Our food cam fast and was delicious. The decor is funky and pleasing to the eye.
Very good! We went during restaurant week and most of us got the vegan option and it was fantastic. I’m not vegan, but I was all about it. Everyone was super friendly and the chef even came to our table to ask how everything was. The non vegan options were fantastic too! Great portions, great flavor, great service, definitely going back.
Not a bar, an amazing restaurant. Phenomenal service, amazing food, creative chef, great drinks and bartenders who pay attention. No matter the occasion, it is a place you want to be.
Fantastic and creative food. Staff is phenomenally attentive. Bartenders are skilled and creative as well. Atmosphere is upscale. Great evening.
We had a party of six and everyone's food was excellent. The service was personal and friendly. Even the chef came out to speak with us. A very enjoyable night. Will definitely go back!
Food and service are top notch. Drink and food menu are efficient, clean, simple, and perfectly executed.
Trying a new place in Buffalo, NY! Called first and they have a happy hour from 4-7 on discounted drinks and selected appetizers! OMG! I enjoyed the food and portions were large for happy hour specials! Bartender very personable. Enjoyed the red wines on happy hour too!
Great location pre Shea's. Service, food and prices were fantastic. Will definitely be back!
Food was adequate but nothing great. They charge extra for bread. No coffee. One dessert selection. Service was good.
Bar tender was pleasant, made great suggestions , and made a mean martini!!!!!
Great artichoke dip - great martinis
We were happy to make a reservation here before the Cher concert! It was a perfect location to Uber to and from KeyBank Center. We got the martini of the month (life's a peach) and both ordered the salmon. We thought the "pudding-like" sauce was interesting, but it ended up tasting AMAZING with the salmon and fried kale. PS: Fried Kale is amazing!!! At first, we thought there was too much kale, but we ate most of it because it was so good! The salmon was cooked to perfection at medium-rare (is it really salmon if it's cooked more than that)? Drinks and dinner were fantastic. Can't wait to return for happy hour or lunch during the week!
We tried D-Tour for food for the first time this past weekend, and it did not disappoint. I ordered a special chicken Milanese dish, which was flavorful and satisfying. My husband had a pork chop entree, which he enjoyed. I would go back.
Food great, service top shelf, waitress was a doll (Elena)
Our first time there...we ordered 3 appetizers and then salads for our meal...way too much food! Portions were generous and we were fooled by the prices. We took home most of the food, which we enjoyed.
The atmosphere was inviting, however, make a reservation, very limited seating.
I would go back!
Great food and service we will return!
