The Panzanella was fantastic!
We visited Dante for Restaurant Week. We had great cocktails, a wonderful bottle of wine and fabulous meal!
Had a great dinner. Drinks, appetizer and entrees were all on point!
We love to sit outside at Dantes.
a wonderful place for a fun night out with great wait staff like Charlotte, in/house pasta, freshest fish, best pizza.....and great chef
Fantastic as always. Almost always eat at Dante for dinner but hit it today for a business lunch. Very tasty and great service.
This was a horrible dining experience. Appetizers were burnt and dry. Pizza was not cooked well, very little sauce or cheese. We brought an out of town guest and it was immensely disappointing. Service was poor. We will not be back. Ever.
We had a fantastic evening at Dante! Charlotte R was our server and she made our evening incredible. Her recommendations for appetizer, dinner, and dessert were exactly what we didn’t know we wanted until we took the first bite. 10/10, highly recommend.
Everything was outstanding
Made a last minute reservation and had an incredible meal as always. This place consistently serves up great fresh and delicious food without fail. The wait staff is always friendly and very responsive. Can't say enough great things about this place!
The food is delicious, but for whatever reason, the last two times we have been, it takes forever to get our food. We had chicken livers, salad, bolognese and pizza. I think it is a kitchen timing issue, and the manager seems to be oblivious to the situation. We keep going back, so we think it’s worth it.
Service was a little slow. But server was very friendly & knowledgeable. Great dinner
We enjoyed a great Sunday dinner with drinks, food and wine. All on point.
Awesome food, the cheesecake was incredible. Service was perfect as always.
Outdoor seating was perfect. Food was delicious! Great service too.
Dante is Omaha’s best restaurant. Whether you are looking for great pizza or the best pasta in town, you win. The specials are simply amazing: Fresh caught salmon, sea bass, short-ribs, etc. The starters are fantastic. I recommend you share the flavors with your special someone. We always start with a salad (beet salad is unreal) then move onto sharing a pasta as we enjoy our Prima. Fantastic wine pairings are also perfection. And the desserts will blow you away. Again, this is Omaha’s best restaurant.
Always great. Tonight the salmon on a bed of roasted zucchini, eggplant & tomatoes was particularly outstanding!
I had a great meal at Dante tonight! I love going there in July and August when they have all of those locally-sourced vegetables. My meal consisted of heirloom tomato and burrata salad with fresh basil, bourbon brown sugar beets with fried kale, and duck confit with beans, and shoshito peppers. All of it was divine. My server was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dante is consistently excellent.
Still one of my favorite restaurants in Omaha. Nick Strawhecker is consistently growing as a chef, offering new items while preserving the integrity of favorites. Our server Joy was just that, a joy! Btw the butterscotch gelato was amazing, as was everything else!
Fantastic as usual! Charlotte is the best. We love Half price wine night 😃
Excellent as usual!
Another great meal at dante. The great thing is the chef has his classics on the menu but is constantly bringing in new things. For example, this time I had extremely fresh salmon that was cooked to perfection along with a bottle or 3 of rose. I can’t get enough of this place!
Great food and wine. It was really hot and humid in the restaurant. Everyone was sweating. Service folks were stretched thin. We waited a long time.
Always know what you are going to get at Dante-fantatic food! Have never had a bad meal at Dante
Great atmosphere & service for a first date.
Great and immediate service. We shared a pizza which had wonderful bubbly crisp crust, not thick. Many choices of pizza toppings and we even added basil to one we chose. The drinks are a little pricey along with other food where the main entre along with vegetables and salad are each billed separately, but a nice cozy atmosphere!
Dante's delivers. Not to your home. But to your palate. True Italian. Relaxed and fun. Energy. Great wait staff. Wine from every region in Italy. Highly recommend it.
We chose Dantes because they offer BOTH gluten free pizza and pasta. Our 18 yo son has Celiacs so dining out in Omaha is challenging. I'd like to ask them to consider adding GF appetizers, one or two. He really wanted the meatballs w/polenta (polenta is usually a safe GF bet) but we inquired about the meatballs and unfortunately they were not GF. Big bummer. Everything else had a breading that I know wouldn't be safe options. We did go for the roasted brussel sprouts but...ya know..teen boy...he ate them but was wishing for something a bit heartier. Maybe even a GF spinach artichoke dip with corn chips would be a viable option. Just a thought.
friendly knowledgeable staff + great food - this is my neighborhood spot and I couldn't feel luckier!!
Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Omaha.
Dante is farm to table, incredible flavors, delicious wines with a neighborhood vibe. We love coming here for a weeknight dinner or special celebration, it's easily a favorite!
Amazing food and wine with top notch service
One of my favorite Omaha restaurants. Every thing about this restaurant makes me keep coming back. Food always outstanding.
Regular Diner at Dante . A favorite and still is. A little disappointed this time. Had friends in from out of town. They were out of the wine they ordered and the dinner special they ordered which was strange since it was only 6:30 pm. For whatever reason the staff seemed a little stressed. Still love the place.
Third time dining here. Always great food and best Negroni.
Fodd and service was excellent!
Best Salmon Ever!
I had the wood-roasted crispy-skin Alaskan Keta Salmon Which I understand is “caught to order” and then delivered next day to Dante. Incredible meaty texture and deep flavor totally unlike so much salmon being sold these days. The sommelier paired with a pre century Barabaresco which was fabulous!
We usually love Dante but this time I was not thrilled- we ordered Ricotta and bread like we usually do and it was excellent but then came the Carbonara- it was cold, under seasoned and the noodles were not cooked well - and we ordered a side of Brussel sprouts that were good but not worth the $14 they charge - the clams were good but it didn’t save the meal - our server was short and not personable and almost seemed annoyed that we were there- I am not sure I will be going back again especially after spending $88.00 on poorly cooked meal - disappointed
